I will try to clean my SIM card

just use it as esim so you are not facing sim card problem because sometimes it gets problem if sim is too old or dirty

Maybe your SIM card is loose.
Try to remove it and put it in again.
Do you have an original Micro SIM card or did you cut a normal SIM card to fit in the Note 2?
i asked someone to cut my normal sim to micro sim

Maybe he cut the SIM card a little bit too small and so it sometimes looses the contact to the connectors.
Try to remove it and insert it again.
If that doesn't work I would first try to get an original Micro SIM card from your provider before you replace your phone.
ok i will do that. thanks a lot

Problem with the signal..

Hello,
I am using HTC One V. I got a problem. The phone detects the my sim card but it is not catching any signals. If it catches, then the signals won't be stable. It will keep on dropping. But if I put the sim card of another carrier, it is working fine. Is it a problem with the SIM or phone??

[Q] Data-Only Sim caused issue

Hi. I have bought a brand new HTC Desire V dual sim.
I planned to use my normal number and 3g data-only sim for internet. (Because normal internet packages are very expensive. data-only plans are fine.)
Normal sim was working fine. as soon as i inserted 3g data-only sim, the phone crashed. it is not booting generally. when it boots, it reboots after 5-6 minutes. i have tried flashing its rom. factory reset, but this did not helped.
I have inserted that data-only sim card to my Galaxy S2. It also got crashed. not rebooting problem.. But just it shows bad imei code errror.
I dont know if data-only sim caused this or not. That data-only sim card is still working fine with usb 3g dongle.
I will take the phone to technicall services. But i dont know later should i try any different data-only sim cards on phone or not.
Have anyone else experienced something like this. Any idea ?
Regards

Question 02 Physical SIM Signal Dropping

I have my Vodafone esim in my 6pro and the signal is fine on that no problems at all 4/5g pickup is good etc.
But my physical 02 work SIM (not on a 5g plan) - the signal sometimes disappears to the point it says no service and won't come back until I eventually reboot.
Any one else with this issue? Happens even in decent signal areas where I am used to using 02 a lot. And indeed post reboot the signal is good. Never has issues with the same combination of esim/physical SIM on my P5.
My Vodafone esim doesn't have this problem seemingly.
It could be a dodgy connection or the SIM was damaged on moving from one device to another? If it stops responding or crashes (SIM cards have a little CPU and operating system in them) then the phone will drop the mobile connection.
I think all you can do is try cleaning the contacts with something (Isopropyl is a good thing to use) and seeing if that improves things, otherwise try a new SIM.

I'll try getting a new SIM. It hasn't happened on my previous phone with same SIM. But as you say might have damaged SIM during swap.
It's weird it does work for a bit though. But seemingly if I lose signal it doesn't reconnect.
My voda esim behaves as you'd expect.
Someone I know on giff gaf (also 02 network) is having exactly the same issue. Wonder if it's a network thing....
Hope my phone's not knackard

Connectivity problem USA carriers

Hi everyone!
I've surfed all I've found here about Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite and the bands/carrier problems here in the USA, but I can't solve my problem. Here are the facts:
I have a Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Global Version, Android 10 updated, not flashed, not root, works perfect and I love it.
I moved to USA from Spain 1 month ago, I got a new SIM from T-Mobile and the first two days worked, but suddenly lost the connection, not only data but calls and messages.
If I change that SIM with another one, (also T-Mobile, my boyfriend bought it the same day, same plan), then it works again but after some hours not signal again.
I've been doing this SIM change over the last 2 weeks, but it is really uncomfortable, I've tried to get a pattern but it doesn't depend on the time that the SIM is on the phone (it can be operative 2 hours or 2 days) nor in the data used or in the area.
When I lost the signal, the SIM is recognized but is like I was inside a deep cave with no coverage.
There is no way to recover the signal, I've tried airplane mode, rebooting several times, reinserting SIM, port change, even changing the SIM and changing it back, but nothing.
When I have signal I get T-Mobile 4G LTE and runs smoothly.
My SIM ports are fine because both read my Spanish SIM card, and the SIMs cards work perfectly because my bf can use both.
I don't know if is a network compatibility problem, he has a POCO X3 that supports the same bands and he gets signal all the time.
I bought a new SIM card from Mint just to check if it was about the carrier, and It does not work either, even when the phone compatibility says that should work.
I'm stuck now
Any advice? Should I buy a new phone to live in the states? (I'm going to be here for a year and I'm spending so much money on moving in that I would prefer not)
Thank you in advance!
