Downgrade from android 10 and flash stock rom? - Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello.
I currently have PixelExperience ROM android 10 version installed on my phone. I have downloaded the india version of official fastboot image. How can I install it as Mi Flash tool shows "mismatching device name"
Kind regards
Ryuk

Redmi 6 pro has rollback protection so I don't know how it may end.

Why you want to go back to stock? Any particular issue?

Android One / MIUI - Difference?

Hi, my friend bought an Mi A2 Lite Global Version, and he is having trouble to updating it to Pie via OTA, so i will update it manually by downloading the Stock ROM file from en.miui.com website
but as i know, The A2 Lite comes with Android One, which is an total-clean version of Android managed by Google, and in the MIUI website probably wants me to download the MIUI ROM? The MIUI is a ROM managed by the Xiaomi team, right?
I'm not sure if there is a difference, i want to download the Stock Android One ROM, the same that comes with the phone, is the one that i download on the MIUI website the same thing? or there are 2 types of ROM for this phone (MIUI and Android One)
There is no MIUI for this phone , only android one, Last full rom is available here https://en.miui.com/download-354.html , is from january.

Is it possible to downgrade the Android version to a custom ROM?

I am unlocking the bootloder on my mobile Android 9 miui 11.3, I want to run Xiaomi eu's Android 8.1 miui 9 custom rom now. Do I need any frimwear to install custom ROM on this device?
I think Eu ROM flashes the firmware automatically, so u don't need to flash firmware by yourself.
But but but please check the ARB version of firmware

Redmi note 8 android 11 firmware?

Hello everyone
Sorry for my bad english.
i am noob when it comes to flashing firmware.. i am using havoc os android 10 for a very long time. i wanted to switch to android 11 arrow os but yesterday i tried everything.. but my note 8 was bootlooping or freezing while booting whenever i flash arrow os 11. i wasn't sure at the time that what is happening so i flashed havoc again. now when i read the post of arrow os it was saying i need to flash android 10 or 11 firmware(for better experience) in order to use arrow os 11. now when i flashed havoc i was using stock android 9. could it be the reason that i am not able to boot into arrow 11? also i searched for android 11 firmware for redmi note 8.. but i am kind of confused on that one because i was able to find only note 8 china firmware which are android 11.. rest are android 10 i don't know if it is necessary to flash global firmware or if i will be ok flashing china one. i wanted to flash android 11 firmware so i will not get stuck again with these kind of issues. but if there is no option i am okay with android 10 firmware. so in short my questions are..
Can anyone provide me a link for redmi note 8 android 11 firmware?
is it my problem that i don't have the latest firmware?
also can i flash firmware with my custom recovery or do i need to use some other software in fastboot mode?
any kind of help will be appreciated. Thanks

your problem sounds more like data partition incompatibility
use CLEAN flash first (format data, not wipe) follow this tutorial
if it dosn't work, then start playing with FW
FW links
RN8 : https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/ginkgo/
RN8 T : https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/willow/
you can flash any region fw, (flash with recovery as normal zip)
just don't make mistake flashing ginkgo FW on willow or willow FW on ginkgo
you will break the phone !

Can't flash miui

I wanted to revert back to stock rom. I have a gauguininpro (Mi 10i), I downloaded the correct latest rom from xiaomifirmwareupdater for Mi 10i India but when I flash it using pixel experience recovery it says "This package is for gauguin. This is gauguininpro".
Guguinpro is Chinese version of phone and cant be flash only Chinese rom. Try that.
After Chinese go back to India.
