Apparently Oppo is trying a new approach with software, and have recently released a beta that people can sign up for to try Lollipop, made by Oppo, for their devices! Check it out at http://www.oppoforums.com/threads/would-you-like-to-have-a-taste-of-lollipop-on-your-find-7.25945/ .
I haven't gotten it yet, so no word on performance, battery life and the lot, but it does support Unified Storage, so that's a good thing!
There was a leaked link which I was lucky enough to download and its dam good .with oppo camera and max audio its would be a dream rom
Users with the newer screen is still having problem with installing that version.

Hey, i can tell you that the dream came true I have installed the Maxxaudio and Oppo camera ported on CM12 and it works great on this AOSP build on my Find 7. You can dl them in these threads:

I can't get the camera to install ,fails every time.I have root as well and the maxx audio installed but don't really think its working

Both are working for me and I just downloaded the Apks / plugins and installed as normal app. I am not rooted, and i flashed the rom with the Oppo recovery as well. Any idea what is going wrong for you...

You're right ... Wich version did you installed? Mine is V3, the first in the post. I tried the other V4 but same result.
I think this is because i couldn't flash the ZIP directly via the recovery it says "installation failed". So i have extracted the ZIP file and run the APK in. It must be a partial installation via this way.
Finally i installed TWRP and rooted the device now I can flash by the recovery and it is good:

I got the camera installed and went with viper because even with maxxaudio it sounded tinny.
Had to full wipe and reflash to get all working .
Xposed is working fine as well.

It's fast and smooth, no bloatware, good memory management, apps dont get killed.
- However, some users reported connectivity issues in China.
- When using non-English language, some apps may FC.
- No 4K recording, No Ultra HD mode on Camera.
I've had a quick tour of it, everything seems good, no problem for me so far

You can install, but I think the sound problem will be there. The kernel is the Crisbal one but the Ramdisk in boot.img has some changes so, let see....

There is problem with Samsung camera - the same as in 14.1. But I've found, that standard camera app in 13 works OK. The problem is with Open Camera and Google Camera (this three apps I've tested so far).
Maybe there's no camera v2 support? It should just take a prop file edit, probably build.prop IIRC.

Standard camera in Lineage OS 13 MM in camera2, it seems that samsung camera need camera2 api to be activated.
Open camera has a switch in settings with this you can activate cam v2 api. Try and tell me if something goes better.
You can try also this:
How to enable Camera2 API?
1) install buildpropeditor
2) Open build.prop, make string 'persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1' (without cotes), save, reboot.

P.S. BTW how is the sound on this latest MM 13 ROM?

No change. Neither switching in Open Camera camera2 helped, nor editing build.prop and restarting. Nothing changed.

We need a new kernel, the Crisbal one used in previous attempt for CM13 US (AND ANOTHER ROMs to) have the speaker problem.
question, have you tried the version from march 11, it is booting up? what is working and what not (including GPS, SCREENCAST, WIFI TETHERING)?

- Bluetooth : Ok
- Battery consumption : Ok
- Camera : Ok
- Automatic on/off while covering screen : Doesn't work

I tried few apks but not even one is getting installed.
I'm using GCam-5.1.018-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.3b1.apk. Can't post the link to the site as I'm new here and the forum won't let me, but you should be able to find it by the filename.
It's based on Google Camera 5.1.018. I haven't had any luck getting newer versions to install, but that one works fine, including Portrait mode, Lens Blur and Photosphere. I had to disable video stabilisation, otherwise video recording would crash. If front camera gives a green tint, there's a setting to fix that in Advanced -> Fix Camera API2.

Do you have an older version of Google Camera installed? If so, try uninstalling it first. Also, are you on Oreo? Many GCam ports seem to require at least Oreo and won't work on Nougat.

Gcam mod it doesn't work on 32 bits. You need custom 64bit roms

I've only had my Z2P for less than two weeks, but it's been perfectly stable so far. Can't really compare with stock ROM because I flashed it to LOS on day 1.

I think, I have tested all available gcam 32b versions. These are two versions that work well - everything they offer.
GCam_3.1.025_SerJo87_nullpoints_maxbuff_N6P_v1.apk - this works without making unnecessary settings.
Gcam3.2_f3.4_v3_x0.6-s_A_X_v0.3_front64.apk - in this you have to make some changes in the settings and it gives very good results. This one is my main camera.

What settings exactly? The video works fine for me on GCam 3.2 but camera is just black screen.

Tried the available gcams for this device, and still best pictures are from stock camera. Also tried to install the one from 4pda, which is 6.1 gcam I think (others are like version 3 or 4, really outdated) but won't install... Anyone could install that one, from 4pda? Also, different subject: the 16gb version has only 8gb real to install stuff, as the other 8gb are for system. Any way to make default installation of apps to the sdcard? Or with lineage or havoc will I have the option? Not rooted yet, but no problems if I have to in order to have more space... After some apps, just 1.7gb left... Thanks to all!! Cheers.

If you installed other than v3/4 then you have broken gcams and therefore you think that stock works best.
So the gcam v3.1.0 mod is the only version that works ?

CStarks mod has some advanced settings that work with our device. The most current version is based on Gcam 6.3 and is limited in features. The version prior to that is based on Gcam 6 2 and has a few more options. It's also more stable in my opinion. I'm waiting for the next release before I update to the 6.3 version. I did try, it seems that is not using the pixel visual core is much slower for her, any suggestion?

It will use the visual core if you are rooted and you download the magisk module that is in the OP. Which version did you download?
