Enabling Android Multiple Users Feature on Realme 3? also side-question about rooting - Oppo Realme 3 Questions & Answers

( My Phone is Realme 3 - RMX1911 )
Hi! I would like to ask if there's possibly a way to enable the multiple users feature that the stock android has.
If possible, without rooting the phone. If it can't be done without rooting the phone, please tell me the effects, of rooting the phone. Whenever I try to turn on the Developer Options, it displays a message something about disabling the device's security features, and I don't really wanna mess up anything on my phone cause it's kinda new and I'm kinda low on funds to get it fixed at a service center if ever I accidentally hard brick it.
Can someone please tell me what those security features are that will be disabled, if there is a way to enable the multi user feat without rooting, and also if there's already a working root guide for realme RMX1911.
I hope you can help me and Thank you in advance.

Rom with built-in anti-theft program

Hi. My phone was stolen a few days ago , and this made me think of the following: anti-theft programs are usually useless, cause often thieves perform a hard reset which deletes it. But what if the anti theft program is on the ROM?
So the question is: is there any not too difficult way to integrate an anti-theft program on a custom ROM? Of course it must also be pre-configured.
Please note that I have no knowledge of preparing ROMs, so if there is a tutorial around I would need it to be linked here.
Thanks!
I've built RemoteTracker into my ROMs since it was a tiny project... It's a great idea to do so, so he made some tools to automatically have your settings when a hard reset it preformed. What device do you have? You could possibly just build your own ROM and include this, instead of waiting on others to do it for you

That's why I am asking how to do it and not which ROM to install. Is there any tutorial for cooking a ROM available?
Well, I had a Touch Cruise, and unless I get it back (still possible - there were owner information), but I'm not sure yet about its successor. It may be a Touch Diamond.

Currently on Oreo, December 1st patch

Hey team,
I'm very new to working with smart phone bootloaders and flashing different ROM's. Currently I have only ever played with ADB a little bit, have never come close to flashing another ROM/firmware, let alone rooting.
Here's the thing, is that I've very interested in running a couple operating systems on my S7 Active, however it seems that if I am on Oreo, this process becomes much more difficult.
I come here for 2 reasons, first is that I need points to ask questions in other forums. I figure here is the best place to start on getting answers and where to look for information.
My second reason is so that I may get some help / information on how to get my S7 Active set up for using at least 2 operating systems - Regular Oreo, as well as Android's PostMarketOS. I am a new user, so I cannot post a link, however you can find it at reddit r/PostMarketOS. I am fully aware that I will likely need to build my own version of PostMarketOS. I'm not here for help with this, so much as I am here for getting help to prepare my S7 Active for this process.
So, I suppose to start, my questions are as follows:
1. Am I stuck with Oreo?
2. While I have unlocked OEM in developer settings, I feel that there's more to unlocking the bootloader - is there information for Oreo on how to do this?
3.I understand that there is root for Android N (7.0), however I have read that you cannot downgrade to (7.0). Furthermore, I am not sure if this would even be necessary.
To give a bit more information, to create the PostMarketOS for Android, it must be created using Linux, and I have a link to post, however I am a new user, the guide for creating PostMarketOS is on the sidebar of Reddit.
Hopefully I can get some help, but I would be happy with just some resources on where to go about starting/finding information. I'm a total noob in this regard, but I am a quick learner and motivated to get my S7 Active to not run so laggy... Plus it would be fun to use 2 operating systems
If you need any other information, I'm happy to find and give it.

Any AOSP (de-googled) Secure ROMs out there?

Yes, I made a mistake... I was tired of my completely locked and unsupported Samsung S7 and wanted something sleek that would be rootable/ROMable - so I purchased the OP7T after only a cursory web search for root/roms (and quick XDA threads). Saw a few ROMs posted so off I went to eBay... Yes, I beg forgiveness and patience from now on in this post. My unsupported Samsung was still able to get a "patch" for contact tracing... I love the OP7T, it is fast, and Oxygen is a refreshing change from my past OEM Firmware on LGs and Samsungs (fortunately was able to TWRP and Lineage my old LGs). However what I really want to do is Brax the phone (and yes, I know the consequences, but the whole point of MODing a phone is it gives the user/owner a chance to make their own choices). I want to install a ROM without GAPPS, no google at all. FDROID, and open source only if possible. I don't game on my phone, it is a communications tool only. I truly wish I was smart / talented enough to build out a ROM on my own but I am dependent on those who often reside here for options the OEM and carriers will NEVER make available. If anyone has any suggestions for this 7T they would be greatly appreciated. The frustrating part is that a lot of the listed MODs/ROMs I found thus far include GAPPS. There may be a way to remove them from the custom ROM, but again I am not a DEV. I have some linux skills, but those are all sys admin, not coding by even the lamest of stretches.
Again, to any forum member/power user/or dev that responds - thank you for even taking the time. I know this is a noob type post. But I am desperate to try and accomplish this task after a hardware investment that may have been misguided. With this year (in the US) going as it has, I want big tech out of my pocket - literally.
Thank you for your time,
XGhost
AOSiP (official, not gapps version) doesn't have Google services in it.

You also have MSM xtended with out gapps. Many options.
Ok, looking deeper and finding more hope than originally found. Thank you for the input and now I just need to take the plunge and start digging into the phone and the firmware. Unfortunate about TWRP, but there are plenty of good options to manage it without that. Take care!

Does exist a Custom ROM without any parts of the original Xiaomi Firmware outthere?

Hello Everybody!
Sorry for this dumb and silly Question, i'm looking for a ROM that contains notching of the original Xiaomi Firmware exept the device drivers you need. Maybe ist flashable with the SP Flash Tool?
I'm not a Dev and just learning by reading and doing/testing with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro. Such an amazing device! I love it!
My Siutuation: I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro (Global Version) with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. I buyed it second hand over the Internet (with the in the original box, with charger, cables, in-ear headphones. manual and a bill from a Xiaomi shop in Praque/Czech Republic (I live in Vienna and for me it's not possible tovisit this store) but as it arrived here i had to notice that the Google Account was deleted but the MI-Account wasn't.
In my own dumbness i've done a factory reset and BAAAAMM the Xiaomi FRP Protection looked my device. After weeks of reading and learning i managed it to Downgrade ist from MIUI 12.0.6. to MIUI 10.4.1. and unlocking it from the FRP-Lock (if somebody facing the same Problem, i can help).
Now i'm searching for a Costom ROM that contain nothing from the original Xiaomi Firmware because the most of the original Xiaomi Apps are quite useless for me and just trash i cannot remove and i have to prevent the phone of connecting the Xiaomi servers to prevent a relock of the phone.
Another Problem is the looked bootloader wich i cannot unlock in the noprmal way, maybe someone has a solution to unlock the bootloader without this Xiaomi App?
By the way, xiaomi customer support is worster then worse, i tried to explain my problem on the phone hotline and email support with no success, seems they are not willing to help anyway as the seller of the phone too (he forget his password, lost the sim card with the telephone number the MI-Account belongs to and forgot the password of the email adress he setted up the xiaomi account. A big mess!
If you plan to buy a Xiaomi phone you should make sure that the Google Account and the Xiaomi MI-Account is deleted or you have to face some big trouble.
Anyway, my device is running and i can use it but i cannot use his full potential and this is very sad and dissappointing for me.
i would appricate every little bit of help i can get!
I hope its the right Forum here for my Problem, if not please feel free to move the threat to the right place or delete it if its tooo silly and dumb!
Thank you anyway!
Your situation is the worst thing that can happen when you buy a xiaomi phone second hand. I am truly sorry for what happened. I don't really know how you would flash a custom ROM with SP Flash Tool. I find hard to believe only replacing system.img and boot.img will be enough, but you can sure try. You might want to join the telegram group where people are more active: t.me/RedmiNote8ProOfficial
About custom ROMs, you can safety flash the latest ones with no wories. I would recommend Pixel Experience as it's stable and provides you all the functionability out of the box. No problems with banking apps or nfc paying apps. All custom ROMs are not bounded to xiaomi firmware and you will use your new phone with no worries.
NON CFW ROMs will be your choice because those are the latest and best.
I really hope you succed! Good luck!

Need Custom ROM for Huawei MediaPad M2

I would like to request for a custom rom MediaPad M2-A04LV100R001C137B022
I have followed this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...nd-root-your-huawei-mediapad-m2-8-10.3322340/
to root my tablet but all the links are dead.
Please any help would be really appreciate
I'll 2nd that request, specifically for 802L.
Considering the current state of electronics supply chains (semiconductors) and the aging and/or boring tablets on the market ATM, this may be a good time to kick start a custom ROM for this device.
I have a developer background and would be keen on trying a "roll your own" ROM but have questions before I get started:
Considering the age of the last software release (ROM) provided for 802L, would the current drivers work with the latest Android kernel?
Can anyone suggest a helpful 'roll your own' guide (noting I'll be searching XDA forums myself, but recommendations can sometimes speed this process up a bit)?
There has been (what appeared to be) a custom ROM some time ago. I'd love to hear from the developer (ajsmsg78) and what they may suggest moving forwards (if that is a good idea to do so considering my first point above).
It may take me a while to get started as I don't want to brick my device, and I don't have the "unlock OEM" option in my developer menu either (looks like KingRoot may be the way... if it still exists).
Any guidance for this n00b would be greatly appreciated.
It's a shame that my m2-802L, although more capable than my newer Samsung tab A 2017, has to be obsoleted because of the outdated Android OS! So an updated custom firmware would be great.
Would live to revive this table/phone as well.
M2 10 lte
M2A01L custom firmware neded too
great i am looking forward to a custom rom for this device
