Can we enable Carrier Aggregation? - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

Hi all
As some of you may know, i own a G9810 (on AT&T) and a G9880 (on t-mo) , neither of which get LTE+\ LTE-A \ Carrier aggregation whatsoever.
How do we enable it.
Both are rooted.
Need to know, otherwise will end up returning both soon, thank you

bump , please

There's no reason why we can't enable CA on qualcomm devices even if it's from HK\CH
Problem is , how?
If this was exynos there'd be no way to do it and i agree but it's not.
I was browsing s10+ exynos forums and i saw this lil tid bit
"You need to root the phone, install TWRP, then flash the T-Mobile odm.img from an SM-G975U."
ANyway i can do that via Odin?

Anyone?

getting desperate over here...

Bump. Hat anyone found a solution?

CA should be activated automatically when network and device support same combinations. I have database of supported combinations here: https://cacombos.com/
I don't have this SM-G9810 combinations in my site so i don't know what it support. But i can check if you can get log out. Here is instructions: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g...ions-from-your-android-phone/#Samsung_Devices . If these are Exynos model's i think these doesn't support combinations used in USA. But only way to confirm is from logs.

I don't have it in my site cacombos.com. If you have this device, please submit QMDL log to cacombos.com/contribute so I could add.

Thanks for your submission but that bandInfo is not enough because it doesn't include MIMO information so I can't import to my site. It's just export of Carrier Policy. QMDL log file need and you can get that via SCAT.

So I'd need to use the QMDL log method via SCAT right ?
In regards to OP @masri1987 carrier aggregation was possible on note 9 exynos model , fellow member @bober10113 had it done on his rooted korean note 9 at the time which was exynos

[Q] How do i unlock sprint samsung tab S ?

Hello,
As the title says, How do i unlock my Samsung tab S from Sprint so that i can use it on AT&T or internationally? I've searched all over google and this forum itself but i couldn't find a post that explains how. Is it possible to unlock this device by adb or other methods of unlocking such as editing the hex? Any help is very appreciated!
I'm sorry if this post is in the wrong sub forum or anything. I'm new here.
Best regards.
Possibilities
This is what I found out:
The chip in my Sprint Note 3 and Samsung Tab S 10.5 is similar and when compared the base bands were different. I unlocked my Note 3 using SSU. I tried the same on the Tab S it did say unlock but nothing happened when I installed a Local SIM ( Airtel )
The other thing I would like to point out is that SM-T807V, SM-T807R4 and SM-T807P all use the same chipsets i.e, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, and one has the possibility to choose the GSM/Global-Mode on the SM-T807V( Verizon ) I am not aware of the U.S Cellular (i.e,SM-T807R4) though. If someone could shed some light on that.
So I would assume there are 2 ways to go ahead with this, one would either be to downgrade the baseband to that of the Note 3 then install Android 4.4.2 and then use SSU to unlock ( not to sure on this method just gave it a thought though ) and the other would be to flash the ROM on the SM-T807P with the Stock ROM of the SM-807V but then we are road blocked by the Kernal so possibly we might need to fabricate a new Kernal for this.
This is my first post on xda Hope what I said has helped. Do let me know if anyone has any development on this because I am stuck too.
Several issues with the plan.
You are unlikely to be able to flash the baseband from the Note3. There is no firmware available for the t807v and no source code.
How about the SM-T807R4 ? Can we use that ?

I'd be pretty sure the bootloader would reject it.
But doesn't the SM-T807P have an unlocked bootloader?

It does, but the carrier versions seem to be more picky with what they'll flash.
The only way is to try it. Make a twrp backup then go for it.
why the the Exynos 5420 is so bad compare to the qualcomm snapdragon when it comes to optimization?

Sorry, I am new to all that but i could give it a try. I'll let you know sometime in December the Tab has gone in for a service, the battery seems to have expanded and my top left screen has poped out and then the touch stopped working and my screen went all gibberish.

Hey i had called sprint and all they told me was that this device isn't ment for global use and it only supports CDMA and LTE, and that was a shocker because the verizon one supports global use
Has anyone come up with an unlock for this yet ? I am stuck with a locked device ??

Galaxy A70 Australian Firmware

Hi, I got an A70 a few months ago (through a provider) and there hasn't been a firmware update I can find for any Australian release.
It's also got a model number that I can't find info about anywhere - A705YN.. I was wondering what the best firmware to try flashing over this would be - Malaysian or Indian? New Zealand? Can anyone give me some info about what's different about the YN variant over say the FN?
Thanks heaps guys!

I don't know what my device is, aside from what it is saying - that it is an A705YN.
It's not dual SIM, has 128GB of onboard storage, has a Snapdragon 675. I don't know where to look to find out more about it

Which CSC code?

Does anyone know which CSC code will work great in Canada with a A705MN that I bought online? Right now I have TPA code but I only get 2 bars of reception
Go for Rogers or bell CSC.
How do you change it? I tried flashing September update using Home_CSC but it didn't change the CSC.
I had MID before, and I flashed ILO.
Just search online
No Ned to flash
You can do it by samsung code dialing

Out of curiosity, what was the motivation behind buying the A705MN instead of the Canadian A705W?

I bought the phone online from a local ad site, the phone was still sealed and got it for a great price. Plus since it's a A705MN it came with earbuds and a 128gb SD Card in the box and the A705W doesn't

As far as i know the bands are compatible. Vodafone UK uses the n78 band 3500mHz which is used in south korea too. The phone came with "LG U+" CSC (LUC) but i changed it to KOO (Unbranded) with SamKEY tool. No knox trips and it lost all the bloatware from the carrier. The things which are not working are: Samsung Pay (don't care), Wifi- Calling (Option is not visible but i get VoLTE) and most importantly 5G.

Flashing the latest starwars released firmware for sm-n976n changed my csc to KOO from KTC. But 5G will not work outside Korea. I think it does not support n78 5g band. In Gsm arena you can check n78 is not mentioned there.
Due device Carrier Policy 5G is not enabled outside from Korea. Also in Korea could be different 4G CA Combinations defined to hardware. You can help to understand supported combinations by contributing this info here: https://cacombos.com/contribute

Buying N975U (US Cellular) and using in the UK

Hello, I want to get the snapdragon Note 10+, so a friend can get me the US Cellular N975U but I will be using it in the UK. So, if anyone can help to answer my doubts:
1) How do I check if the device is region locked?
2) Will I be able to receive the SW updates with my UK sim here? or am I going to be restricted to flash manually via odin etc?
Thanks in advance

Give this a look & then contact US Cellular with the device IMEI, they'll likely need it to check for unlock status.

As for getting updates with a non-US Cellular SIM Card, I'd definitely ask about that as well.
Hopefully, someone here @ XDA will chime-in with their experience.
