Redmi 7 stuck bootloop - Xiaomi Redmi 7 Questions & Answers

Hi all, I put you in situation. I recently acquired a xiaomi terminal, but the problem and what I like least is that the phones use their own systems, so I ventured to install a custom rom. For this I had to wait a week to unlock it with the miunlock. My surprise has been that after unlocking it and installing twrp, when installing the custom rom of aosp extended it remains in the redmi logo and in loop. I have also tried another custom rom called pixysos, both look great but they give me the problem and I do not know if it is my fault about how I installed twrp or what happened to me, I have followed several guides and I have done the same. In fact, when I installed twrp and started the xiaomi system and returned to the recovery instead of loading me, twrp loaded the xiaomi recovery. What could have happened to me?
Sorry for my bad english

[Q] Xiaomi Redmi 1S, stuck in fastboot screen and does nothing.

Hello everyone,
First of all, to all Moderators, please forgive me for posting about Xiaomi Redmi 1S in Xiaomi Mi 3 thread but I was desperate to find help from XDA community, and there were no threads or Forum dedicated to Xiaomi Redmi 1S.
Coming to my problem, I am stuck at Fastboot screen on my new Xiaomi Redmi 1S (Indian version, bought from Flipkart).
Reasons for the problem:
1. I tried rooting my Redmi 1S, and it worked fine.
2. Tried installing Xposed apk and it got installed, then while updated the count when I restarted the mobile, Redmi 1S got stuck at boot logo.
3. Fearing something might happen, I switched off the mobile after waiting for almost 35minutes, and wiped everything through recovery mode.
4. Then tried flashing the official rom from MIUI forums in the ways specified (http://en.miui.com/thread-38688-1-1.html). But nothing worked and the mobile remained in fastboot screen.
Can anyone please help me bring back my Redmi 1S??? Please.
THIS ISSUE IS SOLVED NOW
(Follow this Solution at your own risk. It worked for me, may not work for you)
Reason for bricking my Redmi 1S:
1. Trying to install Xposed app after rooting my Redmi 1S.
My Mobile condition before resolving the issue:
1. Stuck at Fastboot screen even when I plugged it for charging.
2. Mi-Recovery was still working.
Important Links that I followed:
i. http://en.miui.com/thread-38688-1-1.html
ii. http://en.miui.com/thread-38687-1-1.html
The way I solved it:
1. USing "http://en.miui.com/thread-38688-1-1.html" I installed fastboot drivers.
2. Downloaded the latest Official ROM for Redmi 1S from "http://en.miui.com/download-226.html"
3. Then, rather than flashing a Fastboot ROM, I flashed a Custom recovery (I used CWM), because Mi-Recovery doesn't have an option to Flash from External Memory Card.
4. I opened the custom recovery and flashed the Official ROM from my External Memory card, and bang, it worked
5. Once again go back to MI-Recovery and Wipe everything before using it normally, because few MI apps and Keyboard were frequently crashing.
Amusing & Inconvenient things that I found after my device was working fine:
1. I got more storage space after flashing the Official MIUI ROM (It was only around 370MB)
2. There was no System 1 and System 2 after going back to Mi-Recovery and try to reboot from there. (I dont know if that will create any problem in future, so I am a bit worried).
3. The Official ROM is completely in Chinese. I mean, the Mi-Store is completely in Chinese and I miss my Official Indian ROM which I got when the device was delivered, because I am unable to read what I was seeing
If anyone has the Official Indian ROM for Redmi 1S, please share it with me here and the only reason I want to go back to Indian version is for English, or else the Official MIUI ROM for Redmi 1S is AWESOME and also occupies less storage space.

Xiaomi phones are much more easy to mod, develop, and to fiddle with. They themselves encourage development.
It is usually nothing to be worried about if your Recovery or Fastboot is accessible.. You can always flash a new ROM and revive it...
As far as Chinese apps are concerned just remove them using Titanium back up or link2sd (I am assuming u have the v37 installed that is prerooted).
And then flash gapps for your version of MIUI (it will be a zip file that has to be flashed thru CWM.)
NOW you should have a condition somewhat similar to your stock ROM. You will still have some traces of Chinese text in the system.
So at present the best option is to wait for v37 ment for India. It should be released in a few days. Or flash v37 Global version.
Remember XPOSED is not ment to work on MIUI. For MIUI we have WSM tools which shall serve the purpose.
Good luck :good:
I have also flashed cwm recovery by using fastboot and then reinstalled rom again

Hey thanks a lot... I did not see those three notations as tabs to move around "Redmi 1S-WCDMA/CDMA China" "Redmi 1S-TD" and "Redmi 1S-WCDMA Global", but I thought those were just indications to use the ROM for all those variants. Now I will flash the official Global ROM for my Redmi 1S. But to be honest, the official Chinese ROM is very less in size and gives more space for apps to download compared to Global version. And in the Chinese version many apps crash a lot, and the frequent crashing aps are the keyboards like Swiftkey, Touchpal but for now Go Keyboard is working extremely good and did not crash till now from past two days.
But thanks anyway.

Glad to help. To fix app crashes, try wiping cache from recovery...
I'm posting a cool thread about this. My method doesn't requires to download the whole stock rom. only needs to download 16-17 mb .

problem with Recovery Mode
Hello Friends help me,
I've been using Red mi 1s for past 2 years, but a few days back it stopped working showing Mi icon blinking on the screen. I went to nearby MI store to get my phone repaired but i was told that it was a motherboard failure and costs up to 4000/-. I told them not to repair that phone. Later, whenever I charge my mobile, it was blinking showing FastBoot image. I did not know what to do with that mobile. Then I've decided to do some experiment with my phone. I tried to go with recovey mode. It has entered to recovery mode but it blinks continuosly, when I try to select the language my screen goes off. Everytime I need to put charging to go to recovery mode and it blinks before I select language and further. But now the problem is all my personal data and contacts are stored and in sync with MI cloud, only some of my contacts are in sim card. The worst part is I forgot my cloud password and I want atleast my contacts back. Please help me out..
Thanks in advance

Canvas A1 - Sprout 4 Hardbricked.SP Flashtool won't work.

My Canvas A1 isn't booting at all (nothing happens when power button is pressed),My phone has been unstable for quite some time now.Initially, I installed MIUI 8 and it crashed after one month or so.Then I installed Stock MM optimized version from XDA and it went well for sometime. Then after a month's period even stock OS crashed.Rebooted and stuck at bootloop.
After that I tried reinstalling the same OS but it always stuck at bootloop.
Hence,I went with SP Flashtool.Tried flashing (Download Only option) Official Lollipop FlashFile available here on XDA,it did flash successfully but phone wouldn't boot.
Next, tried All Format+Download option and again it flashed successfully but now nothing happens not even micromax logo shows up.Hence,I believe I have hard bricked my phone have tried every option that I could think of but to no avail.
I need expert advice on this hence posting it now.
Please Help.
Thanking in advance.

Bootloop on Redmi note 5

Hi everyone!
I have a Redmi Note 5 with two cameras.
My problem is that ROM 10.0.5 (I believe) wasn't able to upgrade to 10.0.6, so I decided to flash it manually. Accidentally didn't switch "clean all and lock" (what a stupid default option...) it flashed, but as the result phone is stucked at booting/loading (bootloop) without reloads.
Mi logo and android with 3 dots in the bottom.
So bootloader was locked.
I downloaded MiFlash 2018.5.28.0, prog_emmc_firehose_Sdm660_ddr.elf
Tried a bunch of ROMs Chinese and Global: MIUI 9, MIUI 10 latest versions and 10.2, anti_test_note5 rom
Tried MiTool, MiFlash, QFIL.
But despite successful status of flashing different ROMs, I still have the same loading state of my phone.
Can anyone suggest something?
Tried all from this thread

Stuck at logo loading after flashing rom (hard brick?)

Hi everyone,
I have a redmi 6 pro which i unlocked the bootloader and installed a different rom. Then the phone stops at the new rom logo forever(more than 8h... i then shut id down)
I have tried and uploaded many roms on the phone including both officials and unofficial ones but all of them end up stopping at their logo loading screen(different logo according to each rom)
My phone in NOT an India version or a clone of Mi A2 lite. At least that's what I can get from the adb shell commands.
I have tried probably everything I could think and read on this forum but nothing worked.
I tried using edl but did not work since I do not have an authorized account.
I am writing this here in case anyone had a similar problem and/or has any idea what I could try next!
Thanks for your time.

Question Pixel Experience 11 plus reboots after getting notification. Which I installed after miui 12.0.1.0 was doing same

I got an miui 12.0.1.0.RCOINXM update after which phone started to randomly reboot, especially when there was some drop down notification or call.
So I decided to install custom rom. I tried to install Pixel Experience Recovery but that was giving "System is destroyed press power button to shutdown". I fixed it by flashing orange fox but using orange fox pixel experience got in boot loop. So I installed Pixel Experience Recovery from orange fox recovery and the used ADB to sideload pixel experience which worked and I setting up my phone but suddenly I get a notification and the phone reboots which is similar behavior to miui 12.0.1.0.RCOINXM. is there some thing else that I can change like kernel or something which can resolve this problem.
I am using PixelExperience_ginkgo-11.0-20211216-1154-OFFICIAL.zip
pls help
PS : the phone remains in boot loop if not plugged in charging and idk why but fastboot logo didn't change to pixel experience's

PixelExperience_ginkgo-11.0-20211216-1154-OFFICIAL.zip is for the original Redmi Note 8 (ginkgo)
Judging by your MIUI version (if i remember correctly the new Note 8 ships with MIUI 12.5), you are in the wrong forum, the original Note 8 forum is here.
OR
You have installed a Note 8 (ginkgo) rom to a Note 8 (2021) (biloba) witch is not compatible with the new note 8.
Thanks for reply Aninuscsalas but No my redmi note 8 is 2019 edition and even after install correct roms even downgrading the same issue persists
I think as my device is A partition only devices [Non-A/B] there might have been something wrong during the update process and that might have made some problems.
Here is my partition table can anyone pls confirm if this is Ok?[in attached]
