how to access console? - BLISS ROMS Discussion

Does Bliss OS support a way of accessing the console so I can kill zygote and configure the touchscreen properly? I tried Alt+f1 and Ctrl+Alt+f1 with no luck.

It's Sirepuser, but unfortunately they're using cert pinning for the SSH, so if you try accessing it you'll be treated with a pretty message.
Now what SSH is used for is for Windows 10 app deployment (When you enable Device Discovery for winappdeploycmd and for the wconnect app).

ssh [email protected]
Permission denied ([email protected],publickey).
I try connect to adbd server from mac os in WP10
I got around this.

BTW, don't try connecting via SSH as they don't have an actual shell. If you're using a mac, you'll need to pass the private key along with your request.

Need Help: Unblocking/Rooting of Remote Control JR 28x (Android 4.0.3)

hi Guys,
i have some questions here and i seriously need your help.
I'm a RC-Model enthusiast and i own a Remote Control Transmitter manufactured by JR Japan.
This RC Transmitter is operated by an Android System (4.0.3).
http://www.jrpropo.com/english/propo/28x/
Unfortunately JR Japan has gone bancrupcy and so the production and support for the 28x is gone and no further development will be done.
The mayor point is:
I'd like to hack this thing... meaning first:
- get root access
- do a full rom backup
- install SuperSu App or anything else like that
- activate Bluetooth (disabled by factory)
- reverse engenieer the apps any modify them if possible. every app seems to control some registers on another board (main RF-Board). so for example there is an app called "subtrim". With this app you can modify the neutral pulse which is send to the receiver via the RF board.
- so i got adb access and shell already and tried some things.
- can install various apps and download the installed apps
but without root everything else is worthless.
so the speciality is:
there seems to be a Texas Instruments Board inside. I researched this one AM335X-EVM-SK (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335X_EVM-SK_Android_Devkit_Guide) --> system info
On this Board/the Components Android 4.0.3 is runnig.
I Figured out that there isn't a normal bootloader because you can't boot into bootloader via ADB Shell.
I'm scared about using the "standard" root apps/methods, because i think the special Mainboard and Booting method isn't compatible to anything else compareable in the "Mobile-World".
--> soloution?
--> what further infos do we need?
another thing is the bluetooth activation
if you enter the following comands @ via ADB Shell, you can try to get Bluetooth enabled - but there isn't an option to click "yes" on the display, when the system asks for the permission to enable BT. only some display thatr bluetooth can be enabled, but nothing else happens. Normal BT activiation isn't in the settings menu!
Code:
adb shell am start -a android.bluetooth.adapter.action.REQUEST_ENABLE
Code:
adb shell am start -a android.bluetooth.adapter.action.REQUEST_DISCOVERABLE
so i think bluetooth is inactivated somewhere deep inside the kernel. and without root access .... you know what i mean.
if i install the superSu ap, it doesn't work because the device isn't rooted.
it would be very great if someone can help me and tell me what things we can do, to hack this thing.
I'm not a developer (yet) but i have some serious interest to get inside and learn how the things work here.
Thank you so far guys
regards

To improve the performance on Fire TV Stick:
Disable UI animations using ADB:
1. Enable USB debugging in developer options
2. Connect ADB over Wi-Fi
Code:
adb connect <Fire TV's IP address>
3. Run ADB shell
Code:
adb shell
4. Disable any UI animations
Code:
settings put global animator_duration_scale 0.0
settings put global transition_animation_scale 0.0
settings put global window_animation_scale 0.0
Done.
Disable any following dangerous settings:
-> Location based services
-> Interest based ads (advertising ID)
-> Collect App usages
-> Device usage data
Disable System sounds in settings

When you use it too much. its best clear the cache memory. its very good thing for best performance of the amazon firestick
I tweeked the props and set the CPU to performance based off this thread...

Get a 4k or even better an ATV device. No matter how much you "tweak" performance you will not have ram to switch between 2-3 apps without them reinitialize. Even the 4k really cant do 3, but it can do 2 pretty well.
adb returning this error on executing the shell command
adb.exe: device unauthorized.
This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set
Try 'adb kill-server' if that seems wrong.
Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device.

It sounds like you are making a connection to your FireTV from a new device (your computer). When you do this, an authorization prompt should appear on the FireTV, press ok to give your computer authorization to access your FireTV.
If the authorization prompt is not appearing on your FireTV make sure you have ADB debugging turned on in the FireTV settings menu
Try the following steps to speed up your firestick:-
Restart/Reboot Your FireStick
Remove Unwanted Apps
Clear Cache of Apps
Keep Your FireStick Up to Date
Disable Automatic App Updates
Turn Off Collect App Usage Data
Factory Reset

[Solved] Remote Control (Remote Desktop) for LineageOS ?

I would like to support my elderly mother when she is using an Android tablet running LineageOS 18.1. Unfortunately most solutions e.g. TeamViewer, require Knox. Knox is of course tripped as soon as a phone is rooted or has a Custom ROM installed. ScrCpy apparently doesn't need Knox but does requires a connection via either USB or TCP/IP on a local network - since my mother lives on the other side of the city neither of these is an option.
A recent thread concerning the difficulty with TeamViewer can be found at https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/teamviewer-quicksupport-on-lineageos.3592889/#post-83850663
Does anyone have any suggestions for Remote Control of LineageOS?
I found a solution. AndroidVNC-NG can be installed on the remote Android host which enables remote control e.g. from Linux Mint, using a client such as Remmina with a VNC plug-in. (Windows, MacOS, et al will also have suitable VNC clients.) The necessary IP and port information is available from AndroidVNC-NG on the Android machine.
If remote access is required at a remote location e.g. from motel to home, then a VPN-like solution would be sensible and quite possibly necessary to create a connection e.g. ZeroTier One perhaps.

"Inactive apps" setting in developer options?

I'm messing around with a deactivated Sprint LG V8. I was thinking about rooting the phone, but if I could just freeze or deactivate apps that would probably be good enough. What's the easiest way to disable the apps I don't want to be active? I found the setting "inactive apps" in developer options but I have no idea what it does. I basically just use this phone as a WiFi only tablet at this point. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Use ADB AppControl.
