Google camera for Redmi 6 Pro Sakura (Without Gapps) - Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello,
My phone is rooted, running Android Q (Havoc v3.4 rom), with enabled camera2api and with NO gapps.
I tried many different versions of Google camera but all crashed. At present GCam v4.3.016 works fine on my phone (both front/back) but doesnt have much features...
Can someone pls suggest which latest ver of GCam will work on sakura?

Most of the gcam ports doesnt work on our phone which is sad. Still the Revolt 7.0 and Google Camera Go works and it will work without gapps too . I cant send links here coz I am new to XDA
Also make sure cam2api is enabled

Problem with Gcam in note 5 pro miui global 9.2 stable 9.2.7

I wanted to install Gcam on my note 5 pro global and I did everything as mentioned in the forum and installed Gcam and even got some functions working . However no matter which Gcam I use , after starting and using the stock cam , Gcam won't open as well as other cameras like the wattsapp cameras .
I had to remove the edited line in build.prop to finally get wattsapp cam working . Any way to get both the cams working at the same time ?
Gcam will not work properly on nougat roms

Camera2api not working

i have redmi note 5 pro and i have installed lineage os on it thst is with oreo. but i am not able to use google camera and camera2api is also not working. i tried every file and flash but its not working. please help me for this.
Gcam not working on RR rom for me. But on global beta it is working fine.
If u flash stock gapps package for unknown reasons it won't work.Flash gapps micro package. You do not need to enable camera2api by adding the lines in build.prop or flashing a flashable zip as RR comes with c2api enabled by default. On lineage os I am not sure whether c2api is enabled by default.. You can check it by downloading an app from playstore namely "Manual camera compatibility". If everything is green ticked then u r good t go.If installing RR just clean install RR and then flash micro gapps and when the phone boots just insatll gcam by bsg like any other apk and you should be good to go. Everything should be technically same for lineage as RR is based on lineage. Hope it would solve your issue
Camera2api not working for me on miui pro global.

New gcam is not starting in my Lenovo p2 which has unofficial lineage os 16

I had recently installed the unofficial lineage os 16.
I had installed open gapps which already came with a gcam. But it didn't had many functionalities. It didn't had portrait mode etc.
I then tried to install latest modded gcam v 5.1.23. I also tried to install various other version. When I start the app it suddenly crashes.
I checked if I had camera API 2 so I found that I had full camera API 2.
I am not able to get the problem.
Thanks in advance.

Camera not working in pie

Hi guys,i am using mi max hydrogen and i flashed my device to pie through TWRP recovery and everything is fine except camera, i tried almost every pie ROM, but camera and flash not working. Please help me .if any one found soultion
What camera is not working? The one that came with your rom? Did you try to install other camera apps if they work?
I tried every possible way, the camera carshes everytime. Snapdragon camera, even gcam all failed. There is no problem before flashing os .i think every mi max users facing this problem. But developers not considering bcz it is outdated devices
Did you had flashed stock gapps package with your pie ROM .
I know your frustration since I also see the same problem before. however, now I have it working. here is the solution:
1) You can use Lineage OS 16 by karzim, but don't take the latest one. Use "2019/01/28" version. To be safe, don't enable encryption.
2) Need to flash latest MiMax "Stable" firmware MIMAXGlobal_V10.2.1.0.NBCMIXM
3) If you want to use latest GCAM with nightmode, use MGC_6.1.021_RP1_V1.3.1-BSG version. It's working on back camera but front camera have problem to save the file.

GCam not running on Havoc OS 2.9

So, I just flashed Havoc OS 2.9 today from Pixel Experience which was really cool but the GCam app wouldn't work there. I flashed Havoc hoping GCam would work.
Havoc OS 2.9 already had GCam version 2.x pre installed. So I updated to 4.x from Play Store which had no functions at all.
I've tried almost all GCam, none worked but GCam_6.2.030_N7P_test1.apk. I don't know why this version only worked.
I need help to fix this. Cam2API is enabled.
1. Havoc OS 2.9 Doesn't Come with GCam But Snap Camera as per as my knowledge.
2. You are not supposed to update Gcam From Playstore. Gcam is officially supported by Pixel Devices Only
3. If you have Indian Variant Try trCamera v5 - It has everything stable from Portrait Mode to Shooting at 60 FPS without zoom to front camera without the green tint and Night Sight with Astronomy Mode.
4. Or you can also try latest Gcam v6.2 From Arnova
Search in google about links of Telegram Channel called Gcam Whyred Official ( I don't know if i can provide the links so you have to figure that out yourself)
And make sure to apply the recommended settings mentioned in the post
