How to upload the original build.prop file? - Shield Android TV General

Hey,
I made root on my Shield TV 2017 16GB. All worked great.
I decided to edit the bulid.prop file to change the device name, but I don't think I did everything right.
I made a copy of this file on a PC before editing.
The trouble is that the device does not start. The Nvidia logo and the animation of the android logo are shown, which loads indefinitely.
I started the menu with A + B. I chose option 2 (Boot recoovery kaenel) and the second menu came up.
I chose (apply upade from ADB).
ADB detects the device in "sideload" mode.
Can I upload the file itself?
Do I need to restore the entire system?
Sorry for my bad English.
Best regards,

use twrp to push the build.prop to system..
if u cant figure it out then flash stock and start over
you can only flash official updates through stock recovery and adb sideload

Thank you. I was able to upload files using ADB Sideload.
The system started and works as it should.

When i flash custom recovery as TWRP it's working, but in TWRP ( 2.8.2.0, aslo checked older versions and never 2.8.2.2 ) sideload dont working, got errors:
and it's loading loading and loading... infinity loooop
Can't mount a OTG pendrive over TWRP in mount i don't see any options. On new versions i see options but when i check OTG it's unchecking it self.
I need working sideload, anyone have any idea how to fix any of my problems, i was gooooogling and dont found fix for Nexus 7 2013.
Here is log from recovery http://www.dropzone.graczu.info/recovery.log , there is actions when i trying to mount OTG and turn Sideload on.
When Sideload option is loading device is not visible on PC for adb, checking by Nexus Toolkit and normal odb devices .
Flash an older version of TWRP? Why do you need sideload access?

Bricked my HTC One M8 - No OS

Hi everyone!
OK, I'm sick as a dog, so I know I shouldn't have been doing this today, but..
I was trying to update my HTC One M8 with Cyangenmod, (cm-13.0-20160314-NIGHTLY-m8). I had been having problems with TWRP reading my SD card, so I decided to go ahead and wipe my phone and try reinstalling using fastboot. I used TWRP for the wipe, but I used the advanced option, and it seems that I wiped everything, including the OS from my phone. Now, all I get when I boot is this screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I have tried holding the power and volume down buttons but I can't get back to the recovery. Both adb and fastboot do not seem to be able to see my phone:
Does anyone have any suggestions one how I can fix this?
Thanks
zog

Only this screen. My phone won't even power down.
OK, I was just able to get into the bootloader and I can also get into TWRP. I have a micro USB chip that I can put into the phone. Should I copy the files onto the chip and use TWRP to flash? There is also an option for "adb sideload" in TWRP.
Whew!
OK, using sideload, I was able to flash Cyanogenmod back onto my phone!
Every thing should be fine now! (fingers crossed!)
You also can copy files with mounting from twrp.

Broken contacts app

So I got this used HTC One m8 from my friend and there's a weird glitch that happened after I factory reset the phone. The app has the default icon, package name and won't respond when I try to open it. Here is a picture of it.

It's the Android app. Is it because there's no sim card in?
I'd love some help
Android version 6.0, not rooted.
Bump I asked here because no one can answer me.

try flashing thr RUU does not require root ot TWRP just require a pc and a usb connector get adb on your computer and type in adb fastboot reboot, wait for hone to reboot into bootloader and type fastboot gatvar all and post the result here. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2FyBGshXWIxeHdPRy1zWXdwM1E/view?usp=sharing use this link to download adb.zip. extract the zip file and go into the bundle folder, sdk, platform, platform-tool and press shift and right click at the same time and select open command prompt here and you got yourself adb and fastboot. (only works for Windows)

It's never worked for me. The problem might be due to their DNS not working, so the update can't be requested. One other way would be to connect your phone to a power source and boot into recovery mode, there's an option for "download latest and recovery", which should install 9.0.1.169 on your device. Although this feature won't erase your device, it's wise to make a backup beforehand anyway.

Can you help me with the instructions to do that.....thanks in advance
if its a convertion you will always get that annoying msg and you wont get fota from the device and you have to manually update your device downloading the firmware zip renaming it to update.zip and placing it to te root of your device storage then restarting the device and then you will get a prompt update pop up but before that make sure to root your device then change th country flag from CN to WW all this is explained in tuttos over youtube and the xda forums , if you want me to assist you hit me up here or on telegram at @bouyhy
