How to recover this phone from hard brick(You have to do this before hard bricking your device ):
Note: This process is not tested yet, and probably will cause hard brick, but if this process is successful, then you will never hard brick your device again as you will be able to recover from any future hard brick.
The idea is, we can use miracle tool to recover realme U1 from hard brick phone, if we can flash preloaders from realme U1 into realme 3, I think this phone will also support recovery from hardbrick
1. You will have to flash the realme U1 preloaders into this phones preloader partition using fastboot:
https://mega.nz/folder/TVtXGK4R#szJzw48J8_k8PvH5u0y-nA
2. Whenever you are hard bricked, you can use miracle tool to recover:

HTC 820s is a mediatek device, so it doesnt have a bootloader (hboot) but it has fastboot mode. So there's no question of unlocking something that doesnt exist in your phone.
You can try to flash .img file through fastboot( kindly post back and confirm if it works for you)
Alternatively you can flash a custom recovery through SP Flash tool just like flashing micromax devices Simply replace the stock recovery.img with your custom recovery and rename it to recovery.img and tick ONLY recovery after loading scatter file.

I had an HTC One M8 phone, Model no: op6B630 M8y.
HTC One M8 phone purchased was very slow with a lot of bloatware, cannot remove them, so I tried to root it and flashed with CWM rom, but it became bricked, bootloader only display "=>FASTBOOT mode...", after normal boot it will display "User interface crashed".

Your getvar result show it is not a HTC device.
More like a clone/fake device if it is not HTC.
Try command fastboot devices .. what no. is shown ?
If it is 0123456789abcd or MTKxxxx_phone then definite fake/clone HTC.

Ok.. it's a clone device not original HTC. Nothing much you can do about it. If you just bought it, try ask for a refund.

Pixel C after shutdown, can not charge and boot to shutdown, Fastboot mode only

Hi ,
Need some help here, after shutting down my Pixel-C, the Pixel-C now wont accept Charge and when power adapter is plugged in , it only show Google Wording and later screen turn off.,with plugged condition, tapping the back light bar will not light up .
When Power source is plugged in ,While holding the Power Key + Vol Down or Vol UP, the device will turn ON with respective menu
1. Front recovery Menu(POwer+ Down Vol)
Shown the Drop down list of Reboot, reboot to recovery, turn off , USB recovery modem, Fast boot mode
selecting to "reboot to recovery " menu item will reboot to see Google Splash screen and Unit shutdown (Lightbar indicator will not show anything).
selecting "Switch off device option- Screen turn off , rear lightbar when tapped is showing One segment of red bar
selecting to fast boot mode will go to fastboot mode with screen prompt "waiting for fastboot command"
2. Fast boot ( Power + Up Vol ).
selecting to fast boot mode will go to fastboot mode with screen prompt "waiting for fastboot command"
The Pixel-C when in fastboot mode is recognizable by PC, i have installed the bootloader interface, "fastboot devices" command is working to list the connected device.
As my device is bootloader locked. I can not use "fastboot flashing unlock" (throw errors) and "fastboot boot recovery.img" (hopefully to boot to recovery menu to conduct factory reset).
THe pixel-c is not able to go to recovery mode, no chance to enable ADB interface , that is to say i cant do cache wipe, factory reset....
Anotherthing that i logged with "fastboot getvar all"
There is a field is indicating battery voltage @ ZERO I think this is the real issue, it may not be real of battery @zero unless there is broken traces.

Other Info.
1.Adapter is working correctly which is validated OK with charging of another 2 pixel 3/4 phones.
2.: Bootloader locked, per factory out condition, Developer mode is ON but OEM Unlock is NOT SET , only use Google OTA updates to the latest.
3.This is my use only device that i have never unlocked since purchased
4. WIthout Plugged in, the device will not ON.
5. The device wont accept charges, Battery reset method recommended by Google " Holding Vol rockers( Up+Down ) +Power" while plugged in , remove adapter USB-C male plug and release the 3 buttons ,wait for 30 sec and charge..NO GO ..
I've got the exact same problem, any luck? I'm going to try replacing the battery I think

Locked on FASTBOOT rabbit screen

Hi everybody,
Yesterday, my volume and power buttons were not working, so I made an adb reboot. I got locked for hours on adb recovery menu, i reset the phone and then it unlocked by himself.
Then i'm here, i get for no reason the screen "FASTBOOT" with the lil rabbit engineering android since yesterday 20 p.m. I tried vol + power buttons but i always come back in that fastboot picture. I can't apply adb command because since I had reset the phone, my USB debug is not active. I have no Mi acc.
Do somebody have a solution ?

Thanks for your answer, already tried it : I come back on that screen...
Only thing I can think of is you corrupted the recovery partition if you can't get there with vol+ and power.
Flash twrp, then rom? Or just flash the stock ROM from fastboot? Whichever you prefer.
"Fastboot flash recovery image" is the command

Question Custom recovery?

Hi !
I registered with the hope that some charitable soul can direct me to a valid TWRP (or other custom recovery, I prefer OrangeFox myself but they don't support the device either as of now), if it exists, because I couldn't find anything besides an unofficial TWRP on getdroidtips that won't flash. I'm not even sure the recovery itself is a proper one for biloba. It says so... I tried everything I could think of (including letting XiaoMiTool V2 try to source it) and all the commands suggested by people here and on the web in general (including _a and _b partitions attempts, to no avail). No matter what I try, I'm left with a failed flash and error messages. Even booting the image fails. I'm wondering if it's the recovery image or me missing something here, which would not surprise me at all tbh. Bootloader is unlocked, usb debugging oem etc all set, used cmd and windows powershell running as admin, fastboot and fastbootd, changing cables, versions of adb tools, usb drivers, reinstalled the whole friggin' Studio...
It's for a phone I got for my mom; but since I'm the one who gets called regularly to do something on it... I want to install a couple root needed apps and can't have complete access to the device for more than a few days before I have to migrate data from the old phone and let her use it as her primary, I thought let's ask XDA. I kinda don't want to wipe and do everything later with new data to backup and restore if I have the opportunity to do it now.
Any help is appreciated! Thank you
I'm on the same boat, looking for Custom recovery and Custom rom for this model. Any developer help?

for mediatek chipset, the only way for flash custom rom is project treble via fastboot. custom recovery not necessary. but miui 12.5is better than most of aosp rom. if u don't like miui, buy a xiaomi with mtk chipset is a big mistake. abbandone the idea of modding this phone like snapdragon models

Why would mediatek be an issue? Having TWRP would really make life easier.

because all device modded have cpu snapdragons. mtk modding community is near dead. you can root with magisk. or try custom gsi. but not much more. search on web: mtk developers are missing at now. ad also for new snapdragon devices modders are less and less. but new miui 12.5 enanched in my opinion needs only to be debloated. is a fantastic rom. so unlock bootloader is sufficient for optimize this phone. twrp is useless. and i think miui13 will be a super update. i like modding. but i think i will return to do only when i will buy my second phone. an hold model like redmi note 7 that have a super modding community. because don't have the new dynamic partition system
i have custom recovery unoficial if u want message me

Really? Why is it so? Because of dynamic partition system?
So if MediaTek community is near dead and for new Qualcomm devices modders are less and less, the modding community as a whole is dying? Or the focus just shifted to some other processors?
