The latest versions are not compatible with this device
You will have to use a really old version from apk mirror
I'm guessing this one will install - choose armeabi-v7a

My advice would be to use open camera from the playstore instead

Any ZUI Camera alternative for selfies?

So I flashed AEX 5.1 and I noticed the picture quality of front facing camera has degraded a lot. I used to get pretty okayish selfies on stock but it had gone downhill on custom ones.
My question is if there's any app that can substitute for ZUI camera in terms of selfies?

Download, install (like you do for a normal apk.) And use in the way you want.

7.1.2 will work fine with front and rear potrait and video recording too.
The version which is most stable and i use is "GcamMod5 from arnova v1.6"
And rom i use is lineageos official
Smooth best in performance too!
Rom is your choice but 7.1.2 based roms are best for modded gcam!
Did you flashed any fix to enable HAL 3 Or just directly flashed the GCAM ?

I don't know about magisk module fix
But i do it like this:
1. Install the app from playstore called "build.prop editor"
2. Give root access to the app
3. Tap edit icon. Go to the last line and add without quotes "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1"
4. Save it and reboot. Done.
I'm sure that module of magisk must contain this line and add it to the correct file
So what i said is manually enabling it.
Flashing that module will reduce your work!

add this code to ur build prop file usin a root file explorer like es and reboot :-
persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
or search for camera 2 api magisk module on google and flash it
and for ROM I'd suggest viper os v3.1.1 Android v7.1.2
most stable and customizable rom available for our land in my view ?
Use viper os 7.1.2 aroma best rom .
TBH I think GCAM performance in 7.1.2 better than 8.1

official oreo update provided by motorola is based on 32-bit architecture and google camera only works with 64-bit architecture.

You have to use a port.
1. Official version only ships with 64 bit binaries which Motorola refuses to support.
2. It needs Camera2 API which is possible to enable to l but it's very buggy
So is there any custom Rom with better performance and is based on 64bit?
Exists a Oreo Rom 64-Bits with Moto Mods supported.

To put it simply no. we still need 64 bit architecture. there's older gcam mods that are 32bit but idk if they would work anymore

Did you find something? I'm looking for the same, a gcam mod for the g6 play (XT1922-3) running Android 9.
I'd take any running gcam port, because it'll be better then the original camera app, I'd guess...
What's the best version?
there is a rom what is 64bits for g6 play, that mod works on it
