Could anyone explain me what are the instrucctions for installing the recovery via adb??
Thanks in advance.

Technically, this aren't TWRP, it's LR TWRP (based on TWRP) + it's officially made by the guy who made LR TWRP

This build is unofficial, but in the heading lies.

[11-07-2014 UPDATE Thread] How to get ROOT with ColorOS v1.2.3i on X9076/X9077/X9007/X9006
Download :
1) Official Recovery Mod from Kedros[ (custom recoveries like CWM or TWRP stopped working on this build in X9076)
2) Oppo Root from KedrosOppo Root from Kedros (SuperSU 2.01 apears to be not working)
Steps by step to root:
1. Run fastboot mode on you phone and plug it to PC.
2. Flash recovery "Recovery Mod from Kedros" using prompt command like above 1.2.2i, but here with :
Code:
fastboot flash recovery x9077-official-recovery-mod.img
3. Do not turn off your phone, instead of this PRESS VOLUME DOWN + POWER and enter in new recovery.
4. Flash from new recovery "Oppo Root from Kedros" (flashing simillar to 1.2.2i rooting the phone)

Isn't it possible to flash versions of ColorOS without root?
I don't see how rooting the device affects which version of ColorOS you want installed.

Of course it is, I just meant this is convenient if your wiping and flashing constantly and want an easy way to root from the device.
Does this method allow updates?
I think so http://www.oppoforums.com/threads/h...d-7a-w-oppo-recovery.11309/page-4#post-177855

This package is signed such that it will flash in stock recovery.
If you install a custom recovery (which allows you to flash ZIPs signed with keys other than the manufacturer's) you may as well just flash SuperSU
Fun fact: Many ICS releases for the Samsing I9100, I777, and N7000 allowed flashing of ZIPs signed with testkeys using their stock recovery. So you could flash SuperSU on stock recovery with those devices/releases. Samsung's gingerbread and JB releases didn't allow this.

Seems that on closed beta somebody is able to do ota update even without a beta tester account so before flashing this try if it works and tell me thanks.
Wipe cache, dalvik, data is necessary for the first flash if you come from miui 8.
After that only cache and dalvik recommended.
I don't own this rom, this is original Miui 9 taken from xiaomi alpha tester account. Language are only chinese/english .
I'll update the post daily as I get the new version.
Thank you, enjoy MIUI9!

Bootloop in miui 9 after flashing xposed
root your rom with magisk and install magisk's xposed, works for me
Running XenonHD, helium and tried v88 and v88.1
Able to flash framework and install Xposed_Installer. But what i want is gravitybox and installing that results in bootloops.
Have not tried other modules as i dont need anything else.

Well if you like risking a hard brick you can download that file, rename it update.zip and put it in the folder downloaded_rom. Then go to the miui updater app and it should see it as an update and the installation will start. No risk, no fun... I used the option in the updater and it doesn't allow me to install it. Probably because I need special privileges... In any case, these are excellent news for custom ROMs
Edit: previous to the installation of the .ZIP it asks me to be connected to the internet... It can't be connected without being connected to the internet. So definitely they check if the user is allowed to install it.
Anyways. Anyone using the ROM can give some feedback, please?
Installed by twrp and running perfect ... for now no failure
routed with magisk 16.0
So installed last TWRP, wiped all data and storage for decryption, all went ok, inastalled oreo beta rom and magisc 16, during booting phone first get encrypted again and then rom boots up. Restarting back to TWRP is asking for password again to decrypt phone. So because of that I get back to nougat and TWRP 3.1.1.0 because that is only one that is not asking password. So please help and inlight me what I was doing wrong.

You have to be in the Beta Team to install those packages with the updater app. The method the Super Moderator recommended me is fastboot because it's an android version update. The ROM worked fine in the first day , no important bug that can prevent it to be a daily driver.

[other development]project treble for v30

My English is not very good, so there may be some grammatical errors for me, please understand
LET"START
I let V30 support PROJECT TREBLE, but currently only supports A-ONLY GSI, and currently only Android 8 and Android 9 GSI can be started on the device, Android 10 is not very compatible
I have made the support of SYSTEM-AS-ROOT but it will take time to improve
Use tutorial:
1.You need to separate a vendor partition and flash the file I shared directly in twrp
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1uc...uI7WxKbW4ZuDTy
2.FLASH LINEAGE OS AS BASE ROM
3.Flash my treble support

ooppss, seems the file not available for download again somehow.. im sorry late 4 months, but can you kindly reshare the work? I will mirror to archive, and share the link here..
I would like to request a reupload of the files as I would like to experiment with my wife's old phone. Thanks!
