Pixel Dust ROM is an Android 10 ROM especially built for Google Pixel and Nexus devices.
The code is based off directly from AOSP. We strive to keep the Pixel Dust Experience as close as possible to Android as Google intended. We add a decent selection of the coolest custom ROM features that would've been missed if they hadn't been included. Thanks to all development teams, e.g. ABC ROM, AICP, AOKP, AOSPA, BenzoROM, CarbonROM, crDroid, DirtyUnicorns, LOS, OmniROM, PureNexus, Screw'd and UberRom, we borrowed a few features and tweaks from. Special thanks to xanaxdroid and flar2 for their commits which I have used to develop the custom kernel in this ROM.
The Pixel Dust Crew would highly appreciate if you would take a little of your time and leave your valuable feedback, your honest opinion or just say hello. If you should encounter a bug, or some kind of glitch that seems to be abnormal and you are pretty sure that it is related to the ROM (and not related to any special apps or mods you flashed on top), then please give as many details as possible.
Special shoutouts to Roger.T for his amazingly designed wallpapers, logos and the best bootanimation I ever had on my Pixel XL!!! If you like our work, please consider to buy Roger the first beer, and a few more for the other team members and spezi77. Cheers!
BTW, please consider to take a logcat, because you know that:

It doesn't appear to work on mine, squeeze doesn't work and I don't see any way to configure it.
You can use the app SideSqueeze to do the same thing.

I built walleye PixelDust build with AOSiP and wanted to build taimen with the same trees from AOSiP. That is why there were 2-3 updates (to get them right) for taimen
We'll have walleye build with June update :highfive:

Sadly, I dont have access to a laptop/pc at the moment. This phone is my only access to the internet and at the same time i use it for work.
Thankfully, i had some spare time a while ago. Did a nandroid backup.
1) Installed viperOS
2) installed logcat apps from playstore
3) start capturing logs
4) press on/off data toggles for a couple of times
Unfortunately, no logs were captured. Perhaps the app requires root priv.
5) flashed magisk 12 stuck on bootlogo
6) flashed supersu but nothing happens

I am not able to upload my build to XDA somehow ? but it is availible at the linked AFH too.
Great to see this ROM finally get released . Thanks for the devotion @fKm
i flashed the latest stock rom, followed the instruction but my phone wont boot. im gonna try again

Thanks for your Pixel 2 XL support!
.
Only thing missing from my current ROM is a native center clock option. Is there a center clock option on this ROM? If so, I might consider giving it a try when the next security update comes out.

I had the same issue on one the previous releases also , always booted into bootloader mode , tried to install it twice with same results so abandoned this rom , which sucks , cause i was on a previous version by nitin and really loved the pixel rom , so was really excited to see it available with updated security patches , im hoping i can get this one up and running

Does this have the T-Mobile Build fixes?
Hola
Awesome collaboration folks!! The true spirit of open source community is exemplified with this project. I will give it a spin later this evening. One question before I dive in, does it support VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling features?
Xposed Installer has stopped

I'm having problems with Gapps. I tried restoring apps from backup, but the downloads won't start at all. Cleared cache/data, tried to reinstall and problem isn't solved.

Re-flashing the ROM and not restoring from backup fixed my Gapps problem. Aside from having weak network issues related to my carrier(Sprint)/Android Pie ROMS, this is by far the best ROM I have flashed on my device. Appreciate the love for walleye.

Adb doesn't seem to want to work well after flashing..
Fastboot boot *.IMG
No longer works.
Adb reboot yes. But that's about it. Factory revert seems to bring back full adb function.
Never seen that before

Can't get past the "Google" logo....thanks for the help.
Update: reflashed but did not reboot recovery again, just rebooted system and now is booting your custom logo...
Update: Booted fine. Unfortunately, not working with Fi. "Unfortunately, your Google Fi service can't be activated because your account currently isn't authorized for service...ID: G003"
Thanks anyway!
Update: Hmmm, phone and messaging is working...Although, I had to disable the Fi app to get rid of the message (don't know if that is a good idea). Every time I open the phone app, I get the message "This device is not supported and phone calls may not work correctly". Would be nice to fix these issues.
I'll give it some time to see if anything changes for the better or worse.
Update: Crap...messaging doesn't work..incoming receives carrier error.
Back to backup
Are custom ROMs better in terms of battery for the walleye or even worse? Especially for this one as It doesn't seem it's overflown with features
Only issue I am having on VZW is I get the message "This device is not supported and phone calls may not work correctly". Phone calls and texts work fine I just get that message on boot up of phone app.

Pixel Dust ROM is an Android 9.x ROM which was initially built for Google Pixel and Nexus devices.
We rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. CAF ROMs are therefore generally considered to be more optimized for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoCs than AOSP ROMs (in performance, RAM management, battery, etc.,). We strive to keep the Pixel Dust Experience as close as possible to Android, as Google intended. We add a decent selection of the coolest custom ROM features that would've been missed if they hadn't been included. Thanks to all development teams, e.g. ABC ROM, AICP, AOKP, AOSPA, AOSP Extended, BenzoROM, Bootleggers, CarbonROM, crDroid, DirtyUnicorns, Havoc OS, LOS, MSM-Xtended Project, OmniROM, Potatoes Project and PureNexus, we borrowed a few features and tweaks from. The kernel in this ROM is based on LOS and compiled with Google's android clang toolchain.
The Pixel Dust developers would highly appreciate if you would take a little of your time and leave your valuable feedback, your honest opinion or just say hello. If you should encounter a bug, or some kind of glitch that seems to be abnormal and you are pretty sure that it is related to the ROM (and not related to any special apps or mods you flashed on top), then please give as many details as possible.
Special shoutouts to Roger.T for his amazingly designed wallpapers, logos and the best bootanimation I ever had on my Pixel!!! If you like our work, please consider to buy Roger the first beer, and a few more for anyone else in the team. Cheers!

Second one!
WOW great job to all.
Colt is outstanding and I may install this over the weekend.
I've been using August stock since Nitrogen wasn't updated.i tried to revert August to July stock as recommended in the OP, but I couldn't even boot the phone, so I reatored August and tried to install this and it wouldn't boot. So until I have more time to try and restore July stock or you update pixel dust to August, I will wait. But very glad to see you've reased the new Pixel Dust. I have long enjoyed and appreciated your work.
Nice work. Running smooth.
Is active edge planned in the future builds?

No don't do this, otherwise some functions could get broken, e.g. Bluetooth.
PD CAF is technically spoken a different ROM, started from scratch.

I use the dark theme. When I look at the song list in Now Playing, there is black text with a dark gray background. It's been like that in the older version of Pixel Dust. Is this some that can be fixed? Or is there something I can change, other than using a lighter theme?
Thanks

I'm getting very high battery drain for some reason. Went from 74 to 63 with the screen off in about 10mins.
This ROM just encrypted my internal memory. After that I spent many minutes trying to install stock Pie again. Yet another faulty job by developers.

Pro note: it's foolish to label a fine running ROM "another faulty job" when you don't know how to post a report.

PixelDust - 20191116 build review
So after using this ROM for more then 1 day here are my review.
ROM is fully functional, no serious bug till now. the only thing I encountered is volte issue ( have to enable from setting after every reboot ). I think not a big issue at all and @ChaitanayaMittal will fix it soon.
on first boot you may see BT fc but don't panic it will work perfectly i used it on my bluetooth speaker.
other then that everything is working fine . No freezing or any other issue. battery backup seems good too.
if you feel rom not that much smooth try some custom kernel and it will smooth af.
