after flashing this I lose twrp and can't get out of this rom unless I go with kdz

I found a fix!
Open rom.zip
Go to META-INF - com - google - android
Open updater-script in notepad
Replace the whole script with this one

Tried this it didnt work used normal zip it worked

boots fast no signal as stated but constant google play service crash other issues maybe there but havnt used it for long

what gapps should i use? trying to use 7.0 arm opengapps fails because it doesn't detect an OS.

Signal not working is mentioned in the OP. That's RIL, btw.

Im getting frequent fc of com.android.phone and both sim rests in all Nougat Roms.
Dono whether its causing because of hike or whatsapp or anyother thing.
I have even attached the log of the force close .
Another problem I'm facing is WhatsApp crash .it crashes again n again and asks me to restore messages.
i have tried almost all N roms like citrus,RR N, RR N BJB, Tesla-n etc.
The force close starts only installing my apps from titanium. Mostly after whatsapp n hike.

I am getting the same error while going into details of sim cards. Not sure if it's due to titanium related.

Yeah , mostly happens when you open hike. I had fixed it a month ago in framework/telephony but that fix will not work on the latest builds as there might be many changes in framework afterwards.
@cohaolain if you have some time, then try to push this fix to cyanogenmod or anyone with source & know how to commit to CM can do this.
check the following file in your source

it should be in frameworks/opt/telephony (If I remember correctly).
Search for handlePcoData function.
you will find the following line :

Ya.. I too was in open beta 8.. No FC.. But on other Nougat roms FC is still there..
Since most of the rom creater don't use hike, they don't care about this bug n tried to fix it.
Kindly look over this. We Indians wre addicted to hike just like WhatsApp.

Have you made sure that the proper phone app is set as default in the settings? This is a common problem on cm-based roms, where you need to set the default phone app yourself, or it will force close.

One thing you can try
Clean intsall open beta 8
then dirty flash nougat rom of your choice
check if that helps.

It works on RR and Nightlies
But doesn't seem to work on XenonHD (best N rom RN)
Could you maybe look into it?

Google it as you should be able to download the APK
I have looked at the 8.0 and 8.1 and its very buggy so i'm waiting I did just do a new build on the 1/2018 security update.. I can pull the apk from a system dump when I get a chance i'm very busy today...

I think i couldnt explain my problem properly....
My phone sound working every where else perfectly.
Phone rings normally. Music plays and i can hear.
Only problem is when i accept call “ i cant hear anything and other person cant hear me as well”
I have samsung galaxy s6 edge + tmobile , US.
It happens whenever i try custom ROMs .
Edit: still i did try changing ringtones and No luck for phone call’s audio and mic.
Again Thanks for the mod, its pretty fast and battery is awesome.

I will post the Aroma build for security patch 1/2018 it has no issus that im aware of and I have gotten calls in both builds,,,, are you doing a clean flash or a dirty flash..

EXCELLENT rom! It is so good to have Nougat now on my Edge+. Coming from Pure-Stock ExtraLite, (been on it for over a year), this rom is smooth, capable, and better on my battery. No problems on anything. Now if I can just change my boot animation....

I can get it just give me the link, also is their a current international rom already available so i can grab the boot.img i will make it un-touched so it will likely have samsung pay and a couple other apps that do not work in custom roms.
anyway give me a link at sammobile and a current rom for this build and i should be able to build it in like 30 mins oncr i have the files....

Maybe search for this rom on XDA khongloi's rom it might be what your looking for...

Hummm...i've looking here on XDA and i've found 2 roms ...smokkierom v4 and khongloi rom V11, for Note 5.
Right now i'm downloading and testing Smokkie Rom, then i'll give a try to Khongloi rom. Give me a couple of hours, and i'll be back to you to give you some feedback.

Smokkie is very good ROM on USA Models so I'm sure it will be something you like

Very nice ROM but the screen touch doesn't work property and i am sad because Wifi Tether Router App has problems. For me is very important this app to have unlimited and fast hotspot.

Smart View error...
Thanks for the great work, however I am having a problem with screen mirroring. My phone (928T) can see my different televisions, and tries to connect, but then I receive error "Failed to turn on Smart View. Error occurred." Any suggestions?

Look at the delete list I deleted it file13 = system\priv-1pp\SmartManager_v*\* just download any necessary .apk install and it should be fine...

Which app do you recommend?

all hardware buttons including power and volumes does not work after disabling soft buttons and home button

I don't believe Samsung Account works with ROOT and im SURE it was removed completely. I'm very busy for nex few weeks SORRY

I can sign into the netflix app but it wont play . Can yoi help?

Samsung accoint works with rooted phone. Its samsing pay some have issues with. My notes have custom roms and root and i ched the theme using samsung account

You did a wonderful job sir. If anyone has issues just type xda and the issue . I did it my self and fixed it all.I used this rom but switch to your s8 port. Well don't sir it allyl works . Any issues are easy to fix by just typing xda and the issue. Thanks again sir for the time you spent so we could have custom roms. Great work sir.

one is bloated and the other debloated

I downloaded this and it worked splendidly other than one thing. My SIM card wasn't recognized. it just wouldn't work. I ended up flashing back to stock and the sim card began to work. Is there something I can do to fix this? My phone is an SM-G928t.

this one is BOMB
Just Make Sure you let it boot the first time and after setup then login to your ACCOUNT like Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, etc. Then allow all apps to update when finished reboot and your all good to go. Remember these builds are based on NougaT 7.0 Security Updates, I have built each ROM and tested and used each and every one. I keep them BLOATED = as much of the original software ALL WORKING, and DeBloated which is as MINIMAL of a install as it gets. THE REASON FOR THE BUILDS is like system updates by way of SUD= Security update ROM's so your phone is always current with the SUD's Enjoy "This one "DragonBlaze" is my favorite ROM" im loving EVERYTHING Working like Volte Etc
Special Note:
On some of the builds they fail the Magisk safetynet check but with Pixel Launcher all test pass I have said for some time now Touchwiz is BUGGY... anyway other options are PIXEL LAUNCHER, Evie Launcher, and Microsoft Launcher. My pick would be Pixel Launcher...

Flash another Rom I have never had a deep sleep on this device at all from my roms. DID you do a Dirty flash ??
To boot into recovery HOLD ALL THE BUTTONS and watch the screen when it starts take your finger off the VOLUME DOWN button only and you should get the Recovery boot. If not you have to use Odin to do a Factory install.

i did a fresh install ( stock firmware then trwp then CFW)
my phone never got that problem and its weird bcz i love the build is a nice build and it runs smoothly on my phone but every time i have to turn on the phone, i have to make a forced restart

Try the DragonBlaze ROM it has everything working and no reported issues...
and you are following these steps i'm sure but just checking

do you have the correct version of TWRP for the SM-G928T I use 3.1.1-0 i updated it one time to a higher version and id did not play well with ROMS

Been restoring it for a week or so LINKS should work but images we lost a few
EVERYTHING BACK UP and a new server for the SITE
