Instructions :
SECURITY ADVICE
Don't flash ROMs or Magisk modules which set SELinux to permissive or you welcome malware on your device!
Install Latest Firmware
Grab the Sony Stock firmware using e.g. XPeriFrim. You should always flash the firmware matching the LOS build.
Grab newflasher and put it in the same folder as the firmware files.
Read the newflasher original post on XDA for general instructions!
Remove the following from the folder so they won't get flashed:
all *.ta files (keep the one in the boot/ directory)
Turn off your phone
Hold the volume down button and attach it via USB to your system till you see LED turning green
Run newflasher from within this directory to flash the remaining files
Skip the second optional step (dumping of trim area), it's useless if your bootloader is unlocked already and takes a long time.
Hit Yes for all the next questions asked in Newflasher(Only dumpin of trim area should be selected no and rest all questions should be selected as yes.
Once Newflasher flashes the Stock rom, boot into it and make sure volte is available.(VOLTE WILL NOT WORK ON BLISS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK ROM.
Incase you are not able to see volte icon in stock either your carrier does not support it or there is an issue with the stock rom(Try flashing it again).
Once you confirm Volte is available in stock, Flash the TWRP recovery and follow below instructions carefully.
Boot into recovery >> Format Data >> Power off the Phone.
Again boot into recovery >> Format Data >> Power off the Phone.
This time boot into recovery >> Wipe Internal Storage.
Flash ROM, Gapps, Magisk.
In the setup wizard select SIM 1 as the default sim for calls data and message.
Once Boot is complete, wait patiently for few mins.
Go to Settings >> Blissify >> Advanced System Icons >> Set icon for Volte.
Voilllaa you should have volte and dual sim both enabled.
Google Apps
You can download and install the Google Apps from opengapps.org. You need ARM64 and 10.x. I suggest to *always* use the pico or nano package. If you need additional apps you find them in the Play Store.
MicroG
This ROM does support Signature Spoofing. However we are watching MicroG and check if they provide newer builds e.g. for Android Pie.

Ah yes, there it is - Got confused by the "ROM" link in the first post.
Cheers!

As with the "Bliss" ROM encryption does not work with this ROM.
An encryption attempt results in a boot loop. Can anyone else confirm this issue?

Thank you shujath for bringing more roms to xz premium.. im truly love it your work sir...i have Suggestion, can you bring some stock sony apps and also including the gaming mode (xperia 1) or assist into the rom too.. i really love these apps sir.. also thank you so much for sharing with us.. love it bro.

I cannot install larom, when installing everything in the boot it asks me for a password

Nice work on this mate! After 24hrs I can't really fault it

Android 10 Roms have broken force encryption, If you are looking for encryption please go back to PIE/Stock ROM.

Thanks for all the testing buddy,
Due to lack of appreciation from the XZP community I am reducing the speed of my work ,
When I look at the Downloads they are 100+ and when I see the Thanks they are < 10.
You guys are kidding me ryt?
This is the least a developer expects and it DOESNT even COST you anything.
FYI, Dual SIM and Volte both are fixed.
will share them later when I get time ...........................................

Well I for one certainly appreciate the effort invested and ultimately I'm not only willing to hit the "Thank you button" but also perfectly willing to pay for a good, bug- free ROM.
My personal opinion is that a developer who spends time preparing a ROM for a certain phone user community should be paid for his efforts. A crowd funding model would be great, or just sell it. 10 Euros, 20 Euros per download - Fine for me if the ROM is stable, bug free and maintained properly.
There are a lot of half baked, ultimately useless ROMs floating around here on XDA exactly because of this "ungrateful user" dilemma. Some dev starts off and at some point abandons the project because he or she is fed up with the community. It's like that very often. I think the model should be changed - Payment for good development work and end of story.

@Shujath i understand that you are disappointed in community but please understand that this community wasn't active for a long time also if you look at the posts you see most of people are new members here and they just probably don't know the least appreciation to a dev work.
Anyway thanks for the job on maple especially with bliss rom it's by far the best out of available roms.
Keep the great job?

Yes. Many novices do not really understand the community rules and do not know how to operate. They don't know that you care about this :good: I really appreciate the ROM you made.

I haven 't downloaded yet, but I see you doing cool things, thank you for it and don 't be offended by such little things!
Thank you for your work, continue in the same spirit, do not stop!!!

For you, I signed up for the xda account, I've learned some software development, so I know how hard it is to make rom.thank you very much for your efforts on xzp, but I also hope you do not give up this project, at least, please improve this version of the rom, so that later people will be more grateful for your ,As far as I know, many of the people who download the rom don't sign up for an xda account, so they may not know the "thank you" button, but their first flash rom is the trust you have,Don't give up the people who trust you, And I'm sure you don't want this project to be half-baked.---- because of my personal reasons, I use Microsoft Translation

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
How to flash treble roms having /factory instead of /vendor?
* First time custom rom flasher/ coming from ZUI / Never flashed treble rom / Never flashed factory2vendor patch
1. Flash Treble TWRP ( which supports /factory )
2. Flash ROM + GApps etc
* Coming from roms for which you had done factory2vendor conversion
1. Flash Vendor2factory zip
2. Flash new TWRP with /factory support
It will work for both non treble like zui , and treble roms having /factory instead of vendor support
( https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603913223 )
3. IMPORTANT STEP : Reboot to new TWRP
4 Flash rom
5. No need to wipe if coming from same rom
Or
1. Flash ZUI via QFIL
2. Flash TWRP ( which supports /factory )
3. Flash rom
updated information on 03/02/2019
[A copy paste of a message from Dd3boh in Telegram]
IMPORTANT INFO
So, the other day me and Kuber were talking about treble related things and the current hassle/issues. Hence we thought of moving back to /factory instead of /vendor treble implementation to avoid all this (vinavil, kenny, faiz, yaro also somewhat agreed)
Moving back to /factory instead of /vendor implementation to avoid the extra hassle, pain and improvements over the current treble implementation
So, what might be the benefits of such change:
* Just one TWRP for treble, non treble roms like zui [ also Official TWRP might be updated will treble support]
* There will be no need to flash patches for factory to vendor conversion
* Anyone who unlocks bootloader, or a new guy to custom roms will have to flash no patches, no tricky steps, just flash rom and done
* It will make our treble implementation cleaner and might help fasten process to try making LineageOS official

There are were 2 build lines for ArrowOS 9.x :- One with Kernel 3.18 ( not anymore supported after 25th December update) and other with Kernel 4.4
ArrowOS with kernel 3.18 is now deprecated from 25th December build ( For easy identification, i have renamed all the 3.18 kernel builds and added "3.18" after ArrowOS-9.0 tag, and now all the new builds will come with Kernel 4.4.
Starting from, January 2019, all the builds will come with Kernel 4.4
Faced a green screen/blue screen when flashing ArrowOS 4.4 kernel build first time?
Remember, that Kernel 4.4 require a newer bootloader, so you will have to QFIL ZUI 3.5 or above.

after using WiFi for a while if I turn off wifi and then try to use mobile data then mobile data doesn't work.
if i restart phone or turn on airplane mode then mobile works
Thank you for the ROM!
It's working very smoothly up to now, including battery consumption.
In the Telegram group, the installations instructions says that TWRP is already included in the ROM, but it's not.
The OTA feature downloads a 1.5Gb file, but was not able to install it in the other slot.
Why did the bootanimation become white/black? It is related to the color theme of our settings?
I also tryed to compile the ROM by myself but did not manage to pass some initial errors.
I was able to compile the GSI (Treble) ROM, but our phone is not the best to test GSIs, at least, not for me. GSI Rom did not boot. Maybe anyone else could try.
Missed (very minor) features and or glitches:
- Resize old apps full screen (the option we have does not work or the app uses just part of the screen)
- Wi-Fi drops that I cannot really trace the cause (maybe my DNS)
- Our FOD is not the best in class, and it's not different in EvolutionX
- Without the labels, the QS icons are too far from each other and the space could be trimmed
- The option (setting) to remove the VPN message at the bottom of the QS
- Reorient (swap) volume buttons when 180º rotated
- Forced close messages disable option
- Among the (amazing!) vibration patterns, I miss the very simple "da-da" one
- When clicking the "Do not disturb" QS icon, the tile does not expand by itself to show all options (time to be in silent, for intance)
- Weather is not being displayed in lockscreen (although listed in the settings)

TWRP is now included in latest build (4.1.69)
OTA is a bug that is still under development
Edit: it's fixed in the latest build.
Bootanimation changes colour according to device theme
Wifi issues is when you don't flash pie vendor before installing
Yes , the labels removed make the gap too large and many other minor issues exist. But these are from ROM source , and these exist on any other phone running evox. So it is not developer's fault.
Some bugs such as weather and the dnd qs tile bug will probably be fixed in next builds.
Thanks

I couldn't get the last build to work with wifi and bt.
I flashed the vendor on both slots, formated data, followed the steps a bunch of times but no success.
Wat i can do to work?
----- EDIT -----
After a reboot the Wifi and Bluetooth worked. I'll try it out to find if there's some sort of instability
Cheers!
thanks new update fixed my problem
How is the SOT?
Why is this in the wrong section? It should be in ROMs and kernels section
I can't backup data partition within TWRP. Am I alone?
3rd party chargers support?
My 18W 3rd party charger doesnt work(it takes 3 hours for full charge). It worked fine with PE ROM and Stock ROM. Is it because of ROM or kernel maybe? Xiaomi 10W charger that comes with the phone works fine.
I experienced the same bug as W3ND31. At first it wouldn't even boot even tough I followed the Installation instructions exactly.
After I cleared cache again (2nd time after initial install) I got it to boot but WiFi and BT wouldn't work. 2-3 more reboots in would somehow fix it but BT Audio is not working properly in my car, only for headphones. I really like this Rom but its not stable yet and has some minor bugs like the ones mentioned above.
I think the issue with WiFi/BT could be related to global and EU vendor. I am back to EU stock now but will check again after some updates have been made and I really hope this Rom will stay maintained unlike some of the other Roms for this phone and I am even willing to donate once its working 'flawless'.
I am sorry I couldn't provide some logcats but I didn't have time because this is my main device and I was testing this in the evening before work.

Mi A3 bootloader doesn't allow data partition to be backed up in TWRP , so you're not alone

No. Its a rom source change and POSP cherry-picks only those that add value to rom. They might add in future if many users request it.
Thank you for providing a stable rom, but the Bluetooth system has an error during startup. After connecting the Bluetooth headset, the Line party will call and sometimes there will be no sound. There will be a delay after hanging up to continue listening to the song. Thanks for providing a good rom ,Thank you.

Thanks for providing your feedback.
1. Gestures - All gestures seem to be working for me and many users. If you are talking about fp gestures, then only goodix sensors work.
2. Not sure about this - have u installed any mods, custom launcher etc?
3. Charging - Do not use phone while charging. Use branded cable. Yes its not comparable to stock. But during testing the charging ~1200-1500mAh . It does slow down initially and post 95%.
Do install future builds too and support.
Updated rom to latest build. See head post for change log. Flash and enjoy!
Dont forget to leave a feedback. Thats what keeps any rom maintainer interested. Kindly take some time to review it and appreciate if you find the rom useful.

Sorry to disappoint you again, but this rom doesnt have. I dont think POSP team is even thinking of providing this feature. I will try to port it if possible and will update the thread as and when i do.
Hotspot doesn't work. Like, I'm able to connect to it, but internet doesn't work. Let me know if logs are needed.

IMS
All the carrier specifc are disabled by default. Only basic mobile data will work.
To enable carrier specific features, such as IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi or WiFi calling,
- Go to Settings > XperiaParts - Enable "IMS features". This will pick and update the modem based on your carrier - A reboot dialog should pop up, and reboot.
NOTE: Above will only work if it worked on stock too.
Here as some FAQs if you run into some issue.
What is modem crashing ?
Sometimes, the modem flashed may not be right (mainly due to lack of carrier updates). Due to this, the modem keeps crashing and so it can't connect sim in service.
How to know if modem is crashing ?
Your SIM won't get in service at all, and your wifi will disconnect and reconnect frequently.
What to do then ?
You can do 2 things:
- Switch to 3G and wait if it worksOR- Go to Settings > XperiaParts- Turn off "IMS features". This will flash default modem which will provide basic mobile data and calling feature.
I have enabled IMS features, I have SIM connected, no modem crashing and yet IMS can't register. What to do ?
If the WiFi and SIM connectivity are stable but IMS can't be registered, it must be the APN issue. See if updating APN fixes it else contact me.
I didn't turn on "IMS features", but still I can't get my sim connected. What to do ?
Make sure to check if default modem is flashed.
- Switch to 3G and wait. If it doesn't work then: - Go to Settings > XperiaParts > Status - If it says this "amss_fsg_lilac_tar.mbn" modem, then contact me - Else either reboot or turn on and turn off "IMS Features" or check your APN.

Thanks very much @Rooted_Ansh ! I can't wait to install it ; )
Installed non-GAPPS version using russel5's twrp from 4pda but following instructions in OP. Ran through set up then factory reset after first boot. Booted to twrp and flashed pico gapps 11.
So far, ROM is running flawlessly. No issues with SD card or anything else yet. However, I haven't yet put a sim in since it's my tester xz1c. I'll do so over the next few days and report back.
Excellent work as always Ansh, thank you much
Tried dirty flash but ended with boot stuck (after 15min I quit) and done the Clean flash - so far so good.
Carier network detected from first start (usual reboot required), Google pay works, everything else looks good.
Thank you @Rooted_Ansh for this great rom!
I can't shoot videos in anything higher than 30FPS. 1080p60 and 720p960 modes worked just fine in the previous release.

Through my investigation, I don’t know if it’s my problem. Applications with API=30 cannot be installed (this is why I can’t install launcher3)
I solved this problem because some magisk modules I installed were wrong. Pardon me for interrupting you.

If i flash stock rom and then install a custom rom i will have the same problem with sensors?
