OnePlus Type-C to 3.5mm adapter : Supports Oneplus 8 ??? - OnePlus 8 Accessories

HI does this work with OnePlus 8 ?
OnePlus Type-C to 3.5mm adapter:
https://www.oneplus.in/product/oneplus-type-c-adapter
I purchased Oncro Type-C to 3.5mm adapter but it wasn't working properly, there was audio but Stereo was not good:
LEFT was heard only is LEFT but RIGHT was heard in both LEFT and RIGHT. So I had to return it.
I have Audio-Technica Headphones that I want to use for playing Games (for low latency).
Before buying this want to confirm if this actually supports OnePlus 8

Hi, I bought that USB-C to 3,5mm connector from Oneplus EU site, and for mu IN2010 it works fine, no problem with my earphones

Thank you for the information. Can you check the stereo response using any test video from YouTube.
With mine (not oneplus though) i could hear the RIGHT signal in both ears. Soni had to return.

Bought mine from oneplus site and working good. But looks very delicate not sure it will survive long.

It's a little on the pricey side but it's the only one that I tried that does both.. Headphone jack and charging at the same time without effecting the warp speed charging or effecting the sound quality of my ear buds..

Yes I got the same feeling, I think that when plugging and unplugging the cable you have to pay attention to pull from the white plug and not from the red cable to avoid damage

Hi friends,
Today i ordered Oneplus 8 and will reach me tomorrow i hope, may i know whether this Oneplus 8 has Hi-Fi Dac like Redmi K20 ?. Because my current phone is K20 and it has 24Bit Hi-Fi DAC.

i bought it also, just to find it doesnt work.

Does it work with inline controls of the headphones?
---------- Post added at 03:32 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:29 AM ----------
I got the ESR 2-in-1 USB-C PD Headphone Jack Adapter from Amazon. The audio seems ok but the inline controls don't work.

How about an adapter that provides a regular 12V DC jack for charging and a 3.5mm stereo mini jack for output to the car stereo AUX input?
Now that WOULD be useful. Maybe the Brodit active mount provides something like that?

Almost. If I was being picky (which I am I'd say the second USB port makes it a bit bulky. Ideally it would just have 1 USB and 1 3.5mm jack.
No rush though. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more.

Microphone lost
Hi, I've bought a splitter from here: http://www.valuemax.co.uk/product_details.php?id=7184
It works fine but I've lost the microphone feature when answering calls.
Does anyone have any idea what pin-out wire I need to modify and attach and external mic?
Thanks Paul

Did anyone try USB Headphones with Honor 8 Pro?

I am just curious if any of you have tried ANY USB (Type C or other via OTG) headphones or earphones on our Honor 8 Pro.
I am sure it would work. But just curious. I am thinknig of getting the Mi Noise cancelling USB Type C earphones.

IDK
I'm in the same situation- I want to buy the usb c headphones but I'm not sure if they're compatible, especially since the phone already comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
I tried. They work GREAT!

Let's put it this way. If you get the same model of headphones. One with a headphone jack and one with usb. Then the USB one will sound better. Because USB gives you direct digital signal unlike the downsampled analog signal. But if you use Neutron music player with normal headphones you might get close to the usb audio quality.

This is amazing. Thanks, I'm ordering them. Now I just a need OnePlus to make a charger with a USB c port for the wired headset so I can talk and charge lol
To be able to charge at the same time, you will need active headphones instead of passive which means an extra soundcard that will pull energy from the battery. As passive headphones when detected changes the USB + and - to connect the headphones to the internal soundcard/DSP-board and if you also insert 5v at the same time would probably fry the DSP-chip. [emoji38]
I'm using a USB active splitter and an old 3.5mm headphone so I can charge at the same time, it works but I do get worse sound quality and also lower sound levels this way. Best solution is a good bluetooth 5 headset, then you both get good sound and can charge the phone.

I tried a USB active splitter with a regular pair of 3.5mm headphones. Audio quality was okay, not impressive at all, but using them for phone calls......horrible. I could hear the person I'm talking to, but they would claim they couldn't hear me or I sounded far away. I'm not big on Bluetooth headsets. Especially now considering most of them come with 2 earbuds. I prefer a single earbud. Maybe I'll have to look on Amazon again and see if theirs anything new.
USB-C pixel buds are great. Had them for around 8 months now and no issues.
If you are looking for a set that have the ear tips then probably best going with the USB-C bullets. Great sound but I don't use them anymore because I prefer a set that don't go deep into my ear

Question USB-C to Audio Jack

First time owning a phone with no audio jack.
Any recommended USB-C to Audio Jack adaptor?
Currently using Apple's earpods as my earphone on my OP5.
I don't really mind that the intended functions of the earphone buttons don't work when connected to an Android device.
As long as the sounds is very good and the mic works, it's fine for me.
Thanks in advance.

Question USB C to 3.5mm Headphone and Charger Adapter that works on Pixel 6 Pro

Has anyone managed to find a USB C to 3.5mm Headphone and Charger Adapter 2in1 for the Pixel 6 Pro. The few I have tried so far only at best will work the audio port but none will charge. Hoping to find one that does both for when driving to be able to charge and listen to music with the 3,5 mm headphone attached to my car radio input. Adapters similar to the attached images that work would be ideal.
Thanks
Unfortunately, the only ones I've seen that reputably work for Power Delivery phones are effectively "hubs", like Anker USB C Hub, PowerExpand 11-in-1 USB C Hub Adapter, with [email protected] HDMI and DP, 100W Power Delivery, USB-C and 3 USB-A Data Ports, 1 Gbps Ethernet, 3.5mm Audio, microSD and SD Card Reader (sold out on Anker's site PowerExpand 11-in-1 USB-C PD Hub). They make other hubs, but I don't see any others of theirs that have a 3.5mm headphone port.
I too, wouldn't mind a more compact and cheaper solution, but I no longer really care about 3.5mm headphone jacks and would be happy with a similar adapter with two USB-C ports - one for USB-C headphones and the other for charging. I may have seen some like that too but not sure as to their reputation, and overall it's not that important to me.
Might be a logic glitch where it assumes that having a usb "device" plugged in means that the phone needs to supply the power rather than receive it.
Does your car radio really not have bluetooth?
And since you are in a car, how about a Qi charger pad?
you would need

Unfortunaetly it doesnt have bluetooth and since I use the phone for navigation while driveing the Qi charger woldnt really serve a purpose.
Is there a difference between the technology in a pixel 4a5g and the Pixel 6 pro. A device like the first picture I showed works fine in the pixel 4a5g but only does audio and no charging for the Pixel 6 pro

I use a magnetic Qi charger on my dashboard. It works great and provide plenty of power to charge under heavy use. Not as elegant as a proper split USB adapter, but should at least work if you can't find one.

Why would he want to use Bluetooth? There's still reason not to. Not many car stereos support the higher quality Bluetooth streaming codecs. Not even AAC, I know mine doesn't. SBC is very unusable.

I drive a Toyota Corolla it doesn't have audiophile speakers and I can tell the difference it is night and day even when streaming Amazon music although it's less of a difference there but if you're listening to compressed music on YouTube music there is a difference maybe you should go get your hearing checked
i mean youtube music starts at 48kbps aac to 256kbps
amazon songs start at up to 867kbps and over 3k kbps peak for premium
unironically searched it up someone made a patch that enables SBC to go up to its maximum bitrate of 512kb
stereo that makes it onpar/better with aptx and works sending to older devices like car stereos
he even pushed it to google 2 years ago buts its still processing

its in custom roms like RR etc shame its not implemented in stock still
You should look into a Bluetooth DAC. Yes it's another thing to charge but for me it's the best of both worlds, quality wired sound yet not tethered to the phone or whatever device. I have a FiiO BTR3K. It's super small, I connect it to a belt loop, and it's got 10 hours of battery life. And yes, you could wire charge your phone while listening.

I feel like there will still be some degradation in the signal because it is still transcoding a lossy codec to another lossy codec. It's something I'll try when I'm connected to my home stereo.

I don't understand this logic. The phone doesn't turn off when you use Qi. It still works. If its about how the phone is mounted, either buy a holder with a Qi pad in it, or stick a Qi pad at the back of the holder.

Go get your hearing checked then because there is a difference. It's less of a difference when using tidal or Amazon music but when using YouTube music or Spotify etc it's staggering.
