Android 10: Hide carrier name? - Nokia X5 (Nokia 5.1 Plus) Questions & Answers

Android 10 shows my carrier name "Vodafone.de" on the top left corner of the display, covering the clock most of the time.
I find this pretty annoying. Is it possible to switch the carrier name display off? I tried SystemUI tuner, but there is no such option.

How to display time & battery state on top in the same times?

because the X1 default just display either time state or battery state...
Not sure how to do it specifically, but some ROMs, with newer menus at the bottom of the screen, will have both battery and time in the status bar.
Displaying clock and batrey bar
just hide the clock option so the batrey bar will be displayed, and in today screen seting you have to put the date so the clock will be displayed also on your screen good luck
you can install SPB pocket plus, go to settings, enable the Battery indicator as an icon, then go to time and select to always display clock on top.
that will give you both batt and time display on top row.
Search for ArielBattery. Found it yesterday and does the job perfect! Sry for my English

[APP] Arc Lighting - Custom Navigationbar for Galaxy Note 10 (hide chin)

(note to galaxy note 10 users set samsung navigatiomode to gesturemode then go into arc lighting and move the buttons up vertically as they are outside of view using gesture mode will make the bar much thinner than normal, force navbar color to black then change the buttons to a line and push them to the edge, this will hide the chin by causing an illusion of the button being closer to the edge than it actually is, the upside to this is that you both get gesturebased navigation and tapbased, by forcing button size it's also relatively easy to hit the buttons)
Download (xda members get free access, will provide unlock codes to any xda member who asks)

i wanted to update everyone on what happened, the app simply died because the developer i worked with simply vanished, i wanted to post this as many of you have noticed i haven't sent out free codes as i should to xda members, my app arc lighting which i put years of my life in including money died, the person i worked with just disappeared, i am not accusing him he said he had corona so i am trying not to think anything i tried to be considerate but i asked whats been happening, i paid money last year to make changes to the app changes which haven't been made and it ended up just dying because it's broken
the last few days i received strange emails from someone claiming they have the sourcecode for something and wanting to sell it to me but they never said for what so i asked what this was about they refused and eventually when i said i'm not interested i received this

i've had contacts with admins on this website who promoted my app, and some people have helped me in the past i wonder if anyone can help me as i am clueless on what to do, the developer i did work with simply is missing, and i don't believe he would do anything to me, i know two people who have the sourcecode, and i do trust them so i don't really know whats happening, i also have no idea why anyone would even want the sourcecode, the functionality is 5% of competing apps that does exactly the same thing, what people seem to like is my ui design and that can easily be copied.

[AOD] Notifications incons in right corner

Hi All,
I have a s20+ 5g and I don't understand why when I set AOD to the right corner, notification's icons disappear.
When I set it to the center of the phone I clearly view notification's icons and also details(If notification's details are active).
Anyone can help me or maybe have the same problem ?
Best Regards

Question Fullscreen setting gives big left or top bezel :/ Fix?

The unsupported apps go almost-fullscreen; it cuts off ~5mm off the side to hide the camera hole. And then two corners are rounded and two are square.

Found the camera cutout. Why do we have to set this setting for every single app? (
I just did this with auto-rotate cos there's no global setting. If you know a global setting let me know. And then I can make exception if there's a problem.

Not exactly sure what you're talking about - do you mean the upper panel that shows the time, notification icons, Wi-Fi, cell signal, and battery charge? "Full screen" doesn't mean it gets rid of that, just is the aspect ratio of the app vs. the standard app ratios since some apps don't work well in full, like Instagram.
Also not sure what camera cutout setting is for each app - you should just have to turn it on or off to hide it or not, unless you mean some other setting?

Question Icon displacement problem after changing smallest width

Hi dear RM 6 users,
My phone is in REDMAGIC OS 5.1 (Android 12) and the Build Number is NX669J_UNCommon_V6.10.
When I change smallest width from "Advanced Settings --> Developer Settings --> Smallest Width" to a higher value (for ex.:450) for smaller icons, the fixed icons at the bottom are losing their place in a few seconds and getting closer to each other in the middle. And, all icon shapes look messy. Last but not least, dialing numbers in the phone app are completely sliding to the left side. You can see the difference in the link below.

I tried too many different values as width value, nothing changes. The problem occurs in all themes.
Any ideas to fix these problems? I don't like huge app icons.
Wish you all a good day.
