Kali nethunter - Samsung Galaxy M31 Guides, News, & Discussion

Hi All,
I am trying to install Kali nethunter in Samsung M31, but before i start i wanted to know below things.
1. Does nethunter official image runs on Android 10. (Full version not the lite)?
2. Does configuration is enough to run all kind of attacks including HID?
3. Is there any other custom image of Kali that has to be used with Samsung M31
4. I am sure it will void warranty of the phone but still, if i use it with lite version will warranty be intact
5. Can i use usb wifi module with M31
Looking for the responses. Thank you in advance.

Gyro Sensors dead after installing custom rom

Hi!
So I recently installed Lineage OS 17.1 (Android Q) on my Samsung Galaxy A50 SM-A505F, and my gyro sensors have stopped working since. I have flashed Samsung Multidisabler 1.7 but my sensors still don't work. Please help me fix this.
Edit: I fixed this by flashing different TWRP rom, which worked for some reason. To make this work for you, join Telegram @samsunggalaxya50 , and do #twrp. Then chose P: No Root or P: Rooted as per what you want, and flash the file using ODIN to AP. Install Magisk Manager if you install rooted file, manager does not come installed. Do remember to flash samsung mulidisabler as per what you want!
LineageOS do not officially support A50 yet. So the rom you installed is a GSI rom, a generic rom compatible with lot of phones but those roms dont support all the hardware of your phone like fingerprint, gyro etc...
You cant fix that unless a developper port a proper rom for the A50

Your device isn't compatible lineage os 17.1

Hello.
My phone is s8.
I downloaded :
1- lingeage os 17.1 for s8
2- Gapps arm64 android 10 nano
3- magisk
I installed successfuly.
Now i login google play and i want install for example these:
netflix
samsung apps such as samsung music, video , secure folder and etc
the apps version is ok and support android 10.
but i get message :
Your device isn't compatible with this version
please help me.:crying:
Go back to stock rom. Netflix is aggressive with detecting modified devices. Even if you get it to work once, it can break any time.
Samsung apps strongly depend on samsung components not included in lineageOS

Trying to downgrade to Android 8 or preferably 7 with Odin

I have long tried to downgrade my phone SM-G955F to Android 8 or 7.
I have tried many different firmwares but they all seem to fail on installing the new bootloader. I can always recover back to Android 9 using a collection of files called AP_G955FXXUCDUD1_CL21427293_QB39365969_REV00_user_low_ship_meta_OS9.tar.md5
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a ROM running android 8 or 7 that I can root.
Essentially I do not care if it is stock rom as long as I can root the device. I have successfully rooted my devices running android 9 using magisk but the essence is that I need to run android 8 or 7 and being able to use google chrome as a browser.
Any help is much appreciated
Best regards,
Erik
I thought I might have answered my own question. So in order to help other in the same situation I will post my findings.
Looking at related posts on XDA Dev Forum I found the following article, that seem to fit my needs.

So I downloaded the zip file and unpacked it in hopes of finding files compatible with Odin. But they were not. So what I did was install my android 9 OS that I found that was working and then rooted it using TWRP and Magisk, which is quite simple.
Then I found this article:

and tried following the steps mentioned.
But unfortunately it did not work. I will try and investigate further or try again without first wiping all the stuff that was mentioned in the guide

Hi,
1) Download the .zip file of the light ROM : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/s8-s8-nougat-01-jan-2020-v30-lightrom.3636154/
Then magisk.zip, search it on the internet.
2) Flash the ROM via a custom recovery
3) Then flash magisk.zip
4) Reboot
It will work for sure with Nougat or Oreo, with any Binary number.
You can downgrade with a custom ROM, not stock.
Lastly don't use Odin but a custom recovery !

Thank you so much!
I will try that. I had found an older phone lying around running stock Oreo, that I rooted.
