I'm excited for this. Will give it a try

@Rooted_Ansh
I tried installing it directly coming from Lineage os 17.1 and then tried it again coming from the final stock and both times when phone boots I have an error that "Android Setup keeps stopping" and I cannot get past the screen because It keeps re-appearing.
This is on the non-Gapps version of Havoc OS.
"Havoc-OS-v3.6-lilac-Unofficial"
What am I doing wrong, or is there a way to skip android setup?
Edit:
I was able to get past the crashing setup wizard after I deleted the Setup Wizard apk.
I had to mount the System in TWRP and then using the built in file manger under the advanced tab and move the apk in: /system/system/product/priv-app/SetupWizardPrebuilt to my sd card.
But now I have no data connection of any kind, and it seems like the version downloaded from the non-Gapps link still does have Gapps. The "Havoc-OS-v3.6-lilac-Unofficial.zip"

Non-Gapps version only has Gallery Go.. others are necessary apps..
Try the same steps again, but without wiping system, cache and data. And factory reset after you have booted.

Thanks for the quick response.
I tried the Gapps version and everything worked.
Then I went back to the non-Gapps version with required wipes, and then flashed the ROM zip again as you recommended without wipes but the Setup wizard still crashes.
Also, the non-Gapps version that I downloaded from android file host has a larger file size than the Gapps version of the ROM, and when I install it it does come with Gapps. I've attached some screen shots of what is happening for me.
Is it possible that the wrong version is available on AFH, or should I try downloading it agian?
Thank you for all your help.

No problem.
I'm happy to keep testing and provide logs if anything is needed in the future.

Hello, developers!
Im very glad to see my favorite rom from LG G6 here!
Because often updates and pretty big customization options.
I have found an weird bug. Sometimes i cant turn on mobile data. APN and signal is good, today i had to call my operator and they havent see any problem.
Until i connected to wifi. IDK why but after that data seems to work.
Sony Music sometimes shows different song name.
Next but popular problem in lilac is RIL - must wait for signal after boot or airplane mode off about 2 minutes.
Anyway, thanks for bring this rom for this maybe last compact, quality and cute device. I have it for 2.5 years and battery is still like new, about 2 days of regular using and without lags for years.

Thank you for this post. I ran into the same issue but didn't think about turning wifi on to get signal back. I tried multiple APNs until I saw this and it seems the only way to fix it.

First off, thank you so much for this! I can't tell you how long I've wanted a havoc rom
So far, the rom is awesome. All the customization I love in an os. I'm not sure what more I even need at this point...
Bugs:
1. First thing is the QS animations. Screenshots show but rotation animation executes as if the notification shade were fully extended.
2. Might not be a bug but the rom seems not as sensitive to touch as others(I've had it less than a day so maybe I need to get used to it)
3. Wifi/data bug listed in above posts.
Other than that, very fine work:good:
P.S. - Which paypal is you? Anushek or Shank03? I wanna see this rom continue.
Thanks again!

My PayPal is shank03...
And about mobile data.. APN has to be configured first..
-Turn off mobile data
- Configured APN
- Make sure your network type is correct
- Then turn on mobile data..
Signal detection would take 1-2 mins... Because by default ims is disabled as it's not adapted to Android 10 yet

My solution for bugged data works for second day but i need to regret it.
Turn on data, if it doesn't work,
Connect to Wi-Fi
Turn off/on data
Turn off Wi-Fi
4G again works for me. No other ways needed.

Unable to use 4G, unless connect to WiFi. After that connect speed is slow.

Configure APN (if not), turn off mobile data , restart device, then turn on mobile data, let me know what happens

Turbo ROM is a custom Android ROM based on the latest Android Marshmallow (6.0.1_r43). Sourced from a straight AOSP/CAF base, the ROM is now extremely feature rich and has lots of customization options. My ( @Yoshi_Guy) goal with this ROM is to create a ROM with as many customization options and possible while still being stable. In addition, the ROM uses RRO/Layers for theming with full DayNight support. SuperSU is pre-installed along with ViPER4Android.

Nicely done. Lots of options for the rom and kernel. I found one glaring issue, though. I can't dial. Other than that, the rom is stable, performs well and is highly configurable. Thanks!

When does this screen appear? Does this occur when you open the dialer app immediately? Also, please grab a logcat of when this occurs so I can look for a fix. Does anyone else have this issue?
It happens every time I click the dialer icon.
Edit: Looking at the icon, there are two images next to each other. The normal dialer image and another. For the heck of it, I clicked on the left edge and the dialer comes up normally. Clicking on the right edge, near the other image, pops up the screen I posted above.

That reminds me. I guess I've never seen or even knew about the new Video4Linux. Just updated one of my ROMs and didn't know it was gonna be included. Taken by surprise as it looks nice. Way different from what I'm used to.
I'll be flashing Turbo tonight and see what things look like.

No sir it does not. But I was glad to see it has an otherwise configurable navbar a la Exodus, Fusion, etc. instead of the lame CM navbar.
And now for my experience (reposted on G+).
D851, TWRP 3, multirom.
Flashed as secondary. Took about 90 minutes. Did not expect that. OctOS takes about two hours but I'm the tester so I deal with it. ?
Watched some TV, played a CD I made back in 2004 (Gothic, dark wave, industrial, cold wave - 'cause that's how I roll), and threw back a few bottles of Founders Dirty Bastard Scotch Style Ale (Tipsy).
Setup wizard starts. I see there's no data so I wait to see if it kicks in. It does not. Next page is WiFi. SKIP is grayed out which doesn't seem right. So I select an unsecured spot knowing I can't connect but hopefully allows me to move on. Nope.
Back to wizard main screen and do four-corner tap to bypass wizard. Head to APNs and see Brightspot is selected instead of T-Mobile. I select T-Mo and still get no signal. Check APN, all is good, hit save. Still no signal. Head to Data Usage where I find Cellular Data is turned off (like with some Slim LP ROMs).
Flip the switch and now I'm good.
Set up the ROM and Google. Things are fine 'til I find I have no root. That pretty much ended things.
Systemless root and my environment don't seem to gel. Bummer.
Not the only ROM with this issue so I'll try and figure this out.

SO far so good. It has a fair amount of customization. Tesla is the champion on customization, but this ROM is very organized and stable. IMHO better than LiquidDark. I only had one issue so far in both M ROMs. The Samsung MicroSD that was working fine in Android L is not supported in Android M. IS is possible to use it without formatting it?
Edit: Tesla-M ROM supports any legacy SDcard. So far this issue is a stop for me to do further testing on Turbo ROM as a daily drive.
really like the rom! it is very nice coming from a cm13 based rom. speedy, good kernel all in all Iike it! I'll have to get back on the battery life... seems like only 2 sot hours with 22% left... but I will know better after tomorrow. I was in a weak signal area for a bunch of today and I flashed the rom last night. I'll let you guys know more when I have more to tell...

The devs are aware of the issue and checking it out.
In the meantime you can probably just flash SuperSU 2.52 (not systemless). Works for me on ROMs where I have this issue.

I couldn't get past WIFI set-up, as well...
Found that Banks' GApps didn't work, caused it to hang-up. Open GApps worked fine.

Yes this rom has safteynet support.. u can use
can any body provide screenshots
A little concrete information please?
Hey, guys, I am thinking to switch to this ROM. As I don't worry about the HDR bug & 1080p 60Hz but what I wanted to confirm was, do the pictures taken are as good as stock ROM? And Does it support VoLTE? I am x507 completely untouched stock.
What are qualitative features I will lose If I switch from stock?

Cons in custom ROM
Bro camera performance bit improve but not compared to stock experience bcoz stock camera not so good or not bad
But fully stable
In custom ROM u can't use 4k resolution for video recording
Also you can't use volte in custom ROM except Chinese eui version (customized eui version by Chinese developer like 23s or 26s)
Custom ROM also not support fast charge if support then it will not provide u great performance as compared with eui
Pros in custom ROM
Custom ROM less heating , fast and smooth best ram optimization , good battery backup , well focused frame camera performance ,you will get much more customization as you want , for nougat ROM you have a great theme engine (substratum), you can change whole appeance of custom ROM by applying theme and icons packs
Fast responsive and you feel better internet net speed in customised ROM
As per my observation I told u every thing as I encounter or experience difference between eui and custom roms
Plz do not try substratum theme engine in eui it will brick your superphone
Thanks for read such long post :fingers-crossed:
---------- Post added at 08:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:42 PM ----------
Hi developers
I m using such ROM and found some pros and cons as under :-
Pros
1 fast and smooth very responsive
2 camera work g8 as compered to other custom ROM which one I tried
3 safety net pass in this ROM with the help of magisk
4. Substratum theme engine work perfectly
5. Capisive batton work g8 with animation
6 all app work
7. Etc.
Cons
1. Fast charging not g8 as compered to other ROM but it can be manage with custom kernel support
2. Battery backup in this ROM fine but still required some improvement (custom kernel can do the work )
3. When I set google assistant in home batton it not work but work when i had spoken" OK google"
4. Sound in such ROM not loudly side you have to flesh some other enhancement app or framework
Conclusion: - best ROM like dairy milk silk descent customization is their best performance
Opinion : - if anybody want to try this ROM then they can try and I m very sure they can't ignore such g8 ROM
Thanks dev for making such g8 ROM
I will give my observation as I feel if any body found wrong so plz share their experience too and forgive me if I wrote something wrong here

So you want to enter the competitive world of professional ROM flashing? If so, you need to take your phone flashing to a new level. How can you position yourself and your expertise so you are the dev's obvious choice? Be honest. Do you enjoy troubleshooting? Do you have a problem with things going wrong? If so, then you might be better off staying on your current OS.
If you are still reading this and are sitting in your chair thinking: “I could do that, if I tried”, then maybe you have a chance.
If you can't read, watch this video: https://youtu.be/JmvCpR45LKA
-I flashed an update and lost TWRP
->If you have access to a computer, go to 1. No computer and s-off go to 2. No computer and s-on go to 3.
You need to re-flash the TWRP file via fastboot.
Go to this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/how-to/2016-05-27-fastboot-flashing-firmware-t3387520
Read the instructions before flashing anything. Make sure you choose the right file.
Refer to this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72875043&postcount=2059
-How can I prevent the loss of TWRP when updating?
->You need to flash root to prevent TWRP from being overwritten.
Note that this is only true for older builds as of July 2017. The problem with TWRP has been resolved as of the first official release of July 2017.
-I’m coming from Viper or some other stock-based ROM. What do I need to do?
->If you’re encrypted, you need to format (different than wipe. You have to type “yes” in TWRP) your internal storage.
1. This will wipe everything from your internal storage including TWRP folder with backups, titanium backup, etc. If you have anything you want to keep, move it to external storage or back it up to the computer before proceeding.
2. If you’re not encrypted, just do a normal wipe (system, cache, dalvik, data) and flash the ROM, gapps, and either SuperSU or Magisk for root.
-I want to use this ROM, but I don’t want root. Is that possible?
->You’re in luck. This ROM does not come pre-rooted. So you can use this with no root if you desire. Although, I’m not sure why you would want to do that, but you can.
-My phone reboots randomly
->Use adb or any other file explorer tool to pull a copy of /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops (command: adb pull /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops) after the reboot and post that. Try to include what you were doing when experiencing the reboot. Also refer to the next question before filing any reports.
-I’m having weird crashes/reboots
->Do you have other third party software installed such as a different kernel, Magisk, sound mods, etc.? Remove all of these before submitting a bug report. Reports made with unsupported software like what is listed above will not be addressed.
-Will this ROM receive frequent Security Updates?
->Yes.
-Does this ROM pass SafetyNet?
->It should if you don’t flash root when installing the ROM, since it doesn’t come loaded with root out of the box. If you want root, Magisk will allow you to pass SafetyNet.
-Does OTA work?
->Yes.
-Do I need to do a clean install?
->If you’re coming from another ROM, yes. If you’re already running ours, a dirty flash should be fine unless otherwise specified. If you have problems, try a clean flash before reporting issues. Refer to an above question if you are coming from a stock-based ROM or are possibly encrypted.
-Will you add stuff to the ROM?
->*insert perhaps cow meme here*
-Is this a Sense based ROM?
->No.
-Does the camera work?
->See the OP for current stuff not working.
-Will Stock camera work on this ROM?
->No.

I cant do anything for a deivce that even know I own, its broken.. So without the device to test things, No way in HELL will I do all that.........
you know that when I dev, I flash many many many many times back 2 back within 5 mins apart sometimes.. The so called testers are
unreliable and I dont have the time to deal with all that.................
Clean flash with current opengapps full.
- In settings, Pure Fusion Settings -> Hardware Keys, leads to a blank white screen.
- Sound -> Phone ringtone, I select the same mp3 song I've used for years and it doesn't play. When I receive a call there is also no sound. This happened on another rom I tried recently.
- you should probably mention in the install section the need to flash magisk or supersu to get root.
- it's a matter of taste but I enjoy orbiting atoms boot display, the popup picture not so much.

easy fixes I can do without device.. then ill do that........

I want to thank you for your work with this rom for the LG G3
I installed it on my cell phone after having used all this time the stock rom
The rom works very well, at least so far I have not seen major failures.
You only have a few points to polish (in my opinion)
# I think there is a problem when looking for networks.
The cell phone does not let you search for networks and apparently does not detect 4G networks, the H+ sign appears in the upper bar (it seems that it only detects 3g networks). I do not think this is a configuration problem of mine since I have everything configured correctly with the correct APN's.
# Another mistake I think is when unlocking the phone, sometimes by pressing the unlock button the cell phone opens the camera. I don't know if it's because I do it very fast and I press another button at the same time or something like that (but in my opinion it's not that)
# On the other hand, I think you should improve the camera a lot. sometimes errors appear on the screen when opening the camera, like violet lines or distortions that later they disappear. Also the interface is not very pleasant to the user and I think the image quality is not what it should be.
I think those would be the biggest "failures" I've seen so far.
I also think it would be nice to add the LG "Knock-Code" unlock function, I think most people who use this cell phone use that function to block it. I find it easy to use and quite safe
Anyway, I hope you do not find this message as a criticism, but as a contribution from a user
And forgive me if my English is not good
Greetings and thanks
My IR blaster isn't working on this ROM, but was working before on the stock software. Is this "normal"?

If blaster only works on stock and stock a based Rom I believe. You should Google it and you might find a semi working method.

IR has worked on every ROM I've used on the G3 so it's not normal that it doesn't work on Pure Fusion.
It's been a long time since I tried the ROM so I don't remember if it worked for me or not.
If I can free up some space I may check it out and see if I have the same problem.
Moto G5S Plus XT1806, Bootleggers ROM Oreo, microG (NoGapps), MultiROM, Tapatalk 4.9.5
@mawdogbe,
Sorry it took so long. Had to wait for a day off, backup and remove the second ROM, etc. etc.
The IR works just fine in Pure Fusion for me. I installed the LG Quick Remote port and was able to control my Vizio TV. So the ROM is good in that regard.
What app were you using for IR?
EDIT: I throw this out every so often. Still running @Eliminater74's PAC-MAN from July 2015. Me and that ROM just can't part ways. LOL.

It was a 3rd party IR controller app. My G3 is currently acting a little weird but I'll see if I can try the quick remote port.

special thanks to Vache, the OmniRom team and everyone else who contributed to getting On Display Fingerpint scanner to work. Without it, we wouldn't have working FOD.
@martinusbe and @hardwareadictos from GZR Roms for oneplus camera support.
Special shout-out to xyyx, literally would not be here without his hard work.
I'm sure I'm missing other people on this list. I try and maintain authorship as best as I can but sometimes things get lost.
If I missed you or issues please let me know and I will try to resolve asap.

Fix odd/random issues with A/B realigining
F.A.Q.
We do not recommend nor support using 3rd party mods(helix/akt/viper/substratum/greenify/etc), beta magisk versions, magisk modules, and especially not other kernels.
Before issues should be reported:
1. Rom needs to be clean flashed
2. No Xposed, AKT Profiles, Helix Engine, magisk modules, or other mods, kernels, etc.
3. Do not restore any apps with TiBu or Swift or some other app restoring application
4. No Substratum themes installed
If you can still reproduce the issue you're having:
1. Logcat/logs must be provided with your report in order to receive any support.
2. I also need a full description of what happened, what you were doing when it happened, and a way to guarantee-ably reproduce the problem. If I or my testers cannot reproduce it, not only will it likely not get fixed, it likely isn't even an issue with the rom/kernel.
3. Screen record or picture of the issue is also helpful.
If you're not familiar with how to get logs, I prefer that you would use Syslog app from the Play Store as it will grab all necessary logs for you and scrub any personal data from them when doing so.
If you can't give logs for errors or possible bugs, I literally cannot help you solve it. You might as well not even report it.

Telegram Support Group Closed. Support will only be provided here.
Common issues:
Q: What does clean flash mean?
A: Wipe system/data/cache/dalvik in recovery and then flash rom, gapps, and magisk if you want it.
A2: If you are doing so in order to reproduce an issue you're having, no other things must be flashed, changed, altered.
Q: What is dirty flash and when is it allowable?
A: We do support dirty flashing SD releases directly on top of previous SD releases ONLY. You just flash new release right on top of previous SD version without wiping anything. We do recommend you wipe cache/dalvik cache however.
A2: If you have slow downs or any other issues tho, you must clean flash the rom and follow the steps above before reporting anything.
Q: You flashed magisk zip and booted phone and there is no magisk manager apk in apps and root isnt working.
A: Install magisk manager apk by itself once you're booted, it sometimes doesn't get installed with zip.
Q: My battery life is horrible
A: Stop using Greenify, amplify, and/or other "battery optimization" apps or mods. Stop blocking wakelocks and alarms, just use the rom and kernel as they come without any tweaking.
Side note: Facebook/FB Messender/Instagram/musicly will destroy your battery life.
Q: Can't change QS layout (Rows/Columns)
A: Pull down QS Shade, click 'Pencil' looking icon, click 3-dot menu, enjoy.
Q: What do location icons mean
A: Dot = Sensors only, + = Battery Saving, H = High Accuracy
Q: No Recents options/clear-all button in Settings
A: Quickstep Launcher(Pie recents) uses its own setup so 'Recents' options are hidden while its installed/enabled. If you remove/Disable the Launcher3Quickstep and hence go back to normal AOSP recent style, then Dragon's Den will show a 'Recents' tab with Clear-all button toggle, placement selection, and a membar toggle.
Q: PUBG
A: This game is horribly "optimized". I do not support this game at all and I do not build anything with this game in mind.
Q: What GCam to use?
A: Currently MGC_6.1.021_xcam_5_beta16 seems to be working the best, can find others to try here
Q: Screen flickers/android auto
A: For now best bet is disable HW Overlays in developer options.

yeah those are leftovers from op3. rom works on multiple devices so toggles are there. They will work again once we get FP working but its not quite there yet. Would think soon though.

Does the theme engine theme third party apps too?
Thanks so much guys, ROM is running great!
Hi everyone.
I had the pleasure to be in the beta testing channel on Telegram for SkyDragon OS and first of all thanks to devs for offering us this little piece of art, for using their skills, time and to be so kind and nice to chat with.
There's a lot to say, but few words are needed.
This ROM is fast, smooth, snappy, stable, equipped with useful feature without fancy and battery draining stuff. Rock solid. Bundled with HolyDragon kernel it offers the right balance between performance and battery time. You can always adjust what you want using HDK modded adiutor app, but I bet you won't need.
Only a few minor adjustments left and it could be almost perfect, IMHO.
Before this I flashed all the flashable, but this is my daily driver since beta testing started, roughly one month ago. In the meantime a lot of new roms went out here on XDA, but I never felt the need to switch again.
Everyone should happily flash SkyDragon OS on his fajita device with no worries.
Please consider donating to devs: I've already done it.

Hello! I'm currently running ProtonAOSP but I'm interested in swapping to this rom. I just had a quick question: Is it possible to install it without Gapps? (I run my phones deGoogled). Oh and does the always on display work? It doesn't work at all in Proton. Thanks!

This will definitely be the first ROM I flash for my P6P! Finally things are starting to get interesting! Just hoping we get some TWRP support, that would make this device on point!

From what hurt has said on Telegram, there are no plans to release a degoogled version of any of his roms. He builds for himself as a hobby.l, and releases the result. As a result he builds specifically what he finds useful and nothing more.
Hello, I installed the current Derpfest yesterday. I noticed 2 errors. 1. When starting the Device, an error message appears that the app: Adaptive Connectivity Services is repeatedly terminated. Did anyone know about this Problem? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and cleared the cache. This error message appears with a call and with a restart. 2. Although I can set the increased touch sensitivity, it keeps turning off automatically. Have a nice day.
Very interesting. Subscribed and i will flash it very soon.

Hi! Sorry, not interested in doing a de-googled version. All my builds come with a full gapps package. Yes, always on works fine.

Thanks hope you like it. We won't have a twrp. There is no use for it any longer.

This app is doing this bc of a Google backup restoration. Click app info. Uninstall. It's built in the rom as a system app. Increased touch sensitivity may need something else added. Thought I fixed it. It's an older reoccurring bug I always have to fix and on occasion forget lol. My apologies. Will be remedied next update, next month.
Running fine here.
No issues, smooth.

No, you cannot
Would someone mind posting a few screenshots..?
I'm interested in the " OxygenOS-inspired QS tile layout" which I'm hoping refers to the notification shade, as I believe that OnePlus hasn't adopted Google's facile 2-column QS layout upon swipe-down...
Thanks!

That was a feature specific to other versions of DerpFest. This is android 12 so it has the 12 quick settings.

Gonna hit the like button for the fact that you responded, and so quickly, even if I'm disappointed by the content of the response...
Great ROM, thanks! Been using it for a day now.
Remarks:
- AOD doesn't dim (full brightness at night)
- Clock in status bar clips left border
Keep up the good work!
