Great Job thanks my friend

Great job I have been using it for 2 days and it is perfect I love this rom

Thank you for the ROM, I am testing the ROM on SM-J730F and found one problem for now
First, thank you for the ROM, the problem that I have now is that the phone user interface(UI) is not showing when somebody is calling me, so I can't answer the call.
Does anybody have this problem?
Edit: It seems that now, the UI for answering call is showing now, I will continue to test the ROM.

Awesome ROM and vendor, works really great, chrome is working like a charm !

First Boot (Time)
Is it normal that the first boot takes several minutes? It's been about 10 minutes I've flashed it on my J7 Prime G610M, using Project TreBlue Vendor on my TWRP 3.2.3 and I was running Havoc OS 2.9 (Pie)?
Edit 1: After 15min waiting, stuck on CrDoird logo colorful, I am going to restart (vol down, home + power) to see if it starts and gets the Android setup.

Can somebody tell me how to take a NANDROID backup of this ROM properly?
I created vendor partition and installed this ROM using OrangeFox.
I also took full Backup(partitions selected: Boot, Cache, Recovery, System, System Image, Vendor, Vendor Image, Data, Modem, EFS) using OrangeFox.
I tried restoring the backup(selecting all partitions previously from backup), it did restore( i think phone rebooted while it was restoring the backup), but the ROM is not booting(it is stuck on crDROID logo)
So, how to take a proper backup of a crDROID ROM, or generally, of any treble ROM?
Edit: There is one approach to solve(partially) this problem: First, install crDROID as you would normally do(using the official guide on the first page on this thread), then don't restore the full backup, restore only the Data partition and crDROID will boot successfully.
Still, I wonder why full restore is not working, as the phone is rebooting while it is restoring(could be there a problem with the selected partition System Image and Vendor Image?)

what is main differences between havoc and crdroid?

Havoc OS uses Project Treblue, while crDROID uses H-VENDOR(which is included in the current flashable ZIP of crDROID)
You can install either of them, it will be good.
I personally use crDROID, it is stable for now(everything that I tested is working: Camera, Wifi, Hotspot, SIM, Fingerprints).
My phone is J730F

Well, it seems the problem was in fact in System Image and Vendor Image
When you restore, don't restore System Image and Vendor Image. Only restore Boot, Recovery, Cache, Vendor, System, Data.

Rom is wonderful but a problem. Always on does not appear despite playback and cannot connect the phone to the Samsung Smart TV

Sim card not detected
how I can fix this

Wow. Im surprised with this rom cant expect anyting. This rom is most stable than other gsi rom.

Its possible to turn this rom to permissive enforce? Il try lot of scrips but not working.

invalid zip file format?
thank you...
reason for stuck on logo is gapps 10

I hope you will still update this great ROM as i'm not a huge fan of oneui.
Keep the good work!

Is there a screen delay in the g610f

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

lineage-os 9 rebooting into twrp recovery
ok, i might be the only one in this situation: i was running pie pr1 by @SagarMakhar. i installed the latest twrp v3.2.3-0 by @SagarMakhar, rebooted into recovery and made a full backup.
then, having read about flashing vendor.img, proceeded to wipe cache, dalvik-cache, data, system and vendor partitions. flashed the rom zip and vendor.img from pr1, wiped cache & dalvik-cache and rebooted. but, the device kept rebooting into twrp recovery immediately after reaching the home/lockscreen.
so, i wiped cache, dalvik-cache, data, system and vendor partitions and this time flashed only the rom zip and rebooted, but the device stayed at the bootanimation stage. although i badly wanted to run lineage-os 9 on x00td, i had to restore my nandroid backup (which went fine on the twrp v3.2.3-0 by @SagarMakhar) to make the device usable.
hope i get tips here to resolve the above issues and run lineage-os 9 on x00td. thanks in advance to SagarMakhar and others.

I too faced the same issue with TWRP. The workaround that worked for me is that when you have flashed the zips after wipe, dont reboot using the menu given in TWRP. Just press the power button until it reboots.
UPDATE 20180817
Changelogs :
- fixed Music Player crash
- Fixed case where device reboots to recovery after flashing custom zips ( disabled rescue party )

Since I don't have this phone and I can't test for myself, I suggest to flash it having Odin and TWRP at hand, just in case. It has been tested for other users tho, and it worked fine.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE BRINGING ORANGEFOX RECOVERY FOR OUR DEVICE. YOU'RE AWESOME DEVELOPER!
I finally tested it in first time. I highly recommend it!
And a question, is this works on treble?
The OrangeFox Recovery is flashed successfully on J7 2016 (SM-J710FQ)

Thanks for your feedback, appreciated.
Yeah it supports vendor partition so treble too.
I have never heard of the OrangeFox Recovery Project but I might try it out since I appreciate all the development given into it and I generally like the overall design. I'm just a little scared that I might lose all my data.
EDIT: Decided to install it. Looks really nice. Great work developer. The only issue I have is that it says my ROM isn't Treble when it clearly is and that it spends like 10 seconds on the splash screen rather than like 3 seconds when I try to go into recovery. But overall I'd say that this recovery is very well made, has a beautiful and easy to navigate UI, tons of features like Magisk Manager and the App Manager which I know I'll look into at some point.
J710FN don`t have vendor partition. Do I need to flash vendor before use treble with OrangeFox Recovery?

You can use it without vendor partition. No problem at all.
Great recovery. Loved the advanced UI and amazingly I can backup EFS partition which I previously couldn't do on TWRP. Its awesome that it can extract compressed files (useful for those who forgot to extract GSI before flashing lol) and it can edit text files because the recovery has nano (a CLI text editor that's popular on Linux). Lots of customizability which I wouldn't expect a recovery to have. And for those who wants to make sure no one picks up your phone and factory reset it for laughs, you can apply security for your recovery (password etc).
This recovery might take a little longer to boot as compared to other recoveries but its definitely worth trying.
Hi again. The OrangeFox is very beautiful recovery I've ever had. I have the some issues in this build.
Bugs:
- The OrangeFox recovery launching time is longer than TWRP (10-15 seconds on bootlogo, 6-8 seconds on recovery bootlogo)
- The Power Off button doesn't power off my device lol (It's just rebooting back)
- The "/vendor" partition isn't hidden in non-treble device. (It's hidden on TWRP. Idk why. I don't even using non-treble rom. Maybe the creator of OrangeFox's fault?)
That's all for now. Thank you dev for building this for j7 2016.
It is a very good recovery. It solved my issue of internal storage unable to mount on twrp.
It still need some improvements. Bit overall it is a good one. I m waiting for future updates.
Works great on SM-710FN.
Thank you so much!
Is there a new update coming?

The only way i've made it work is to flash H-Vendor + Ares Kernel RC1 + Magisk 20.4 phhusson.
All the other solutions lead to being stuck on LineageOS boot animation.

Otherwise:
Full clean install is highly recommended. DO NOT REPORT ISSUES when you have skipped that step!
Flash /e/
Optional (if you want root): Flash Magisk
Flashing OpenGapps ????? NO No no! you don't want that on a google-free phone! /e/ contains everything you need to live without Google! So flashing OpenGapps on /e/ is like using a bit more secure LOS but that's not the point of /e/. Either try without or go with LOS (imho).
Boot it (will take a bit on first boot!!! be patient!)
Enjoy the most easy way to have a privacy focused and google-free phone!

I guess format data is required? With regular wipe data, cache, dalvik and system it's stuck on boot logo (powered by android i mean).

Are you encrypted? While for the bootloader version and firmware, please refer to the thread below; I used their sources:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...rom-lineageos-17-1-beta0-s10e-update-t4076585
As I told previously, I am not a dev unfortunately. I just build using existing sources proven to work.
edit: Seems yes, format data is required. This is mentioned in their FAQ.
Install LinageOS
copy the ROM ZIP file an external SD card
Boot into the recovery
Wipe cache + dalvik (wipe->advanced and select cache + dalvik)
Format data (wipe->format data, use the dedicated button, wipe->advanced does not work)
Flash the ROM (install -> select storage -> micro SD card and select the .zip file)
Optional: Flash GAPPS (e.g. OpenGAPPS)
Reboot to system
I also see that on my builds, the vendor.img is much smaller than in their builds.
I'll ask them.
Yeah, thats what I thought as i flashed LoS from modpunk before. Anyway, doing complete backup and will try again.

I took modpunk sources to build /e/. But I fear my vendor.img is missing some things (my vendor.img are about 17Mo while his are up to 120Mo).
Need to figure out what and why.
Don't know if it could be doable to repack the /e/ zip with the vendor files from modpunk builds zips.
I don't know the S10.
Gotta sleep. Good luck and keep in touch tomorrow.
So i just found out copying all the vendor files from modpunks lineage os to the /e/ zip with 7zip actualy works so il keep updated if its stable

Cool to know thanks.
I'll do for all the other files then.
What device are you running on?
Uploading zips with replaced vendor files now. Should be available in a few mn.
Please test and let me know. I'd like to see what device you are running on as well thanks.

About /e/:
/e/ is an a mobile ecosystem (ROM + onlines services) that:
is open source
is pro-privacy
is compatible with most existing Android applications
cares about usability
is as far as possible freed from shackles by Google and OEMs
already exists!
It’s the alternative to the Apple/Google duopoly on the smartphone.
... so again and just to be clear: /e/ is not just a ROM, it is more a complete privacy ecosystem and consists of:
an installable mobile operating system for smartphones, which is forked from Android and strongly “ungoogled”
a set of sorted and improved default open source applications
various online services that are linked to the mobile operating system, such as: a meta search engine for the web, drive (with synchronization), mail, calendar, notes, tasks.
Features:
Based on the stable Lineage OS 17.1
microG fully pre-installed with Signature Spoofing in restricted mode!
All features described on the /e/ page: What is e
All features and fixes of our LOS 17.1 builds (Whatawurst team).
No OTA suppport for now.
What works:
Same as Whatawurst team LOS 17.1 build
Known issues:
/e/ Q is still in development stage (still, stable enough for a daily driver with no bugs). So you may still see one or two calls to Google servers until the Q branch is official.
You tell me
Same as Whatawurst team LOS 17.1 build
SECURITY ADVICE
Don't flash Magisk modules or anything else which sets SELinux to permissive or you open your device for malware!
Do not flash Multi Disabler on this ROM!
Requirements:
Latest TWRP build.
Do a full Nandroid backup before doing anything!
