The twrp getting replaced is probably due to not flashing avb_patcher.zip. the numbers I think have something to do with decryption.

did anyone find a fix for this as i somehow bricked my device on rmx2063 and now i dont know what to do

The numbers shown because of data decryption.
When I try to port TWRP 3.4.0-0 from other device, the data automatically encrypted.
You can fix this, but you need OTG or External SD Card.
But TWRP in this doesn't support External SDm but it supports OTG. If you want to add External SD, you can add this line in twrp.fstab:
Code:
/external_sd vfat /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 /dev/block/mmcblk0 flags=display="Micro SD Card";storage;wipeingui;removable
To keep the TWRP and delete decryption you can use these steps:
1. Flash TWRP
2. Reboot to TWRP
3. Flash avb_patcher.zip
4. Format/wipe data
5. Reboot to TWRP
6. Flash stock ROM
7. Flash avb_patcher.zip (again)
8. You can flash Magisk if you want
Hope it help.

First Of All... Remove Your Device Lock Homescreen,fingerprint..face and all privacy lock, Download twrp from xda especially stable for realme 6 pro You Will find.., download magisk zip, install twrp only. reboot to twrp recovery,. Now if you click on reboot to system TWRP will be removed by the original system, so don't click on reboot just flash magisk zip,. Don't delete or format anything don't do any other operation, after flashing the magisk file, reboot to system,. The only way TWRP will remain otherwise it will get deleted .. by above method you will not loose any single app or data On your mobile.., This trick work on latest update of realme 6 pro which is 11.A.41
........And the Best Thing Is That Just Remove Magisk Root TWRP will be autodeleted when realme ui 2.0 update will come..

What about 'CWM Recovery' ?
If one succeeds with this TWRP and rooting, then I think one can change TWRP to CWM using flashify or Rashr, provided he/she should confirm that the 'CWM Recovery' will work on Lenovo A 7000 a with android 6.0 OS. But I do not know if the 'CWM' recovery thatwas used earlier when we were on android 5.0, will still work with android 6.0 or not. Can anybody confirm?

Use the stock rom found here to go back to factory settings using the stock marshmallow rom. Make sure that you flash using SP Flash Tool as instructed in the link. This will replace TWRP with stock recovery.
Afterwards, you can reinstall TWRP and root, etc.

I think you have copied the SuperSU-v71.zip in external storage and in TWRP you are searching in internal storage. If it is so the paste it in internal or change storage selection at the time of installing zip.
And paste the zip in root of the storage not in any folder.
As i can see this is your 1st post.
I think this will help you.

Hi, I think you should try to format data. Probabby via fastboot, then install TWRP.
Not sure which are the correct commands for the full format, so have a look around or someone else will help.
Otherwise there is the unbrick guide here in the forums to try.
I'm having a similar issue. So any advice would be great. Just updated to most recent unofficial TWRP (having been on a previous version). Now when entering my pin to decrypt it is not accepted. Would prefer not to have to format data.

I believe the decrypt is a known issue with TWRP and OB8/OB9 with F2FS /data partition. I don't think there's a work around at this time without formatting /data and rooting to prevent encryption.

you mean: fastboot erase userdata?
Btw, I just ignore the dm-verity message to enter stock recovery, and do adb sideload openbeta9.zip and when it boots up again, the dm-verity message is no longer there.
I would try to format (erase userdata) data and flash the modded twrp.

Yeah fastboot Format userdata
But since you don't have the dm-verity you can skip the fastboot Format. Boot into the modd twrp and when it asks for password, hit cancel and then format data (you will have to type 'yes').
Then flash SuperSU or superuser in the same session without booting. This will ensure dm-verity doesn't come up again as it will start in enforcing mode, thanks to SuperSU/superuser.
You may be able to flash twrp afterwards but I haven't tried it.

OnePlus 3 dont decrypt + dm-verity error at boot

Hey XDA m8s,
i want to decrypt my OP 3. So i completely cleared it and fresh installed OOS Beta 10. Now its still encrypted. I did this 5-10 times.
Bootloader: Unlocked
Recovery now: Stock
1. Tried fastboot wipe userdata
2. Tried TWRP Data Reset
3. TriedAndroid normal Factory Reset
4. Tried to install OOS with Stock and TWRP Recovery
Everytime I install OOS 4 or Beta 10 TWRP asks me for a password after installation to decrypt File System. I dont have any password and i dont encrypted my device.
And now there is coming a dm-verity error everytime i boot. I dont know what that means...
The device is working but i cant flash TWRP and install SuperSU or other Zips cause of this ****ty password that i dunno.
Any ideas??
thx m8s

The encryption will always occur if you don't flash supersu before first boot.
Dm-verity error is strange if you flashed the open beta or oos 4 from stock recovery. This warning only happens when you flash from twrp.
You need to do a format data from twrp or wipe data cache > erase everything from stock recovery to "decrypt" but you will lose all your files in the process

I flashed the official nougat update yesterday using the stock recovery and I somehow got the dm-verity error? I heard somewhere that I had to reflash the stock recovery even tho I already have it? I used to have TWRP but that was back in 3.2.2 of Oxygen OS but I switched back because I wanted OTA updates too work

That DM verity screen is not an "Error" screen its just "Warning" screen meaning that the FW files were not digitaly signed. Its something Google introduced a while ago but has really started pushing since Nougat. There's no way to avoid it (except to flash a seperate script to disable it) theres one floating around here but might have been in Nexus thread. Personally i flashed 3.2.8 Fw after flashing OOS 4 and it got rid of the "Warning" but that might cause issues down the road. As of now though all is running as it should. hope this helped

Here are the Proper Instructions to Install Oxygen OS 4.0 without DM - Verity Error and F2FS -
For Unlocked Bootloader + TWRP + Rooted users (Having any Rom installed before) -
Requisites -
Backup All your internal Storage Data - Sync all Google Stuff - backup all Messages or stuff.
Downloads -
Oxygen OS Official OTA Full Zip - https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0BzS3n...xport=download
Official Recovery ( Oxygen OS ) - http://oneplusroms.s3.amazonaws.com/...BmI3Z1Dri5Q=
TWRP Recovery 3.0.2 - 23 (IMPORTANT) - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862684308
SuperSU 2.79 Stable - http://downloadmirror.co/Utz/UPDATE-...1211114519.zip
Custom Rom Based on OOS ( Choose any) - Freedom OS - https://forum.xda-developers.com/one...s-1-0-t3409348
Experience Rom - https://forum.xda-developers.com/one...-v1-0-t3522259
Hyper Stock - https://forum.xda-developers.com/one...stock-t3521946
Procedure -
1.) As mentioned, BACKUP EVERYTHING.
2.) Flash stock oxygen recovery though fastboot or in twrp.
3.) Boot to stock recovery, sideload Official 4.0 ota via adb.
4.) Reboot and dont set up device ( not necessary ) enable developer settings and usb debugging.
5.) Flash TWRP .23 NOT .28 (.28 is bugged with decryption and f2fs errors)
6.) Boot to twrp, wipe /data to f2fs and /system and /cache to ext4.
7.) As wiping everything, encryption and dm verity will be gone and copy any custom oxygen os build and supesu 2.79
8.) Flash any custom oxygen os build ( all these 3 builds flashes supersu itself, so no need to flash supersu, buy keep it for further later use.)
9.) Reboot, Setup and copy all ur stuff.
This method will surely get u a Rooted, decrypted, f2fs /data partition Oxygen Os 4.0.
For Stock/Twrp Recovery, Encrypted/Decrytped, Locked/Unlocked Bootloader, Unrooted Users (Those who dont want to root or decyrpt) -
1.) Backup is necessary as internal storage will be wiped, its a one time process as for now every Oneplus update will be f2fs /data compatible.
2.) ADB sideload 4.0 ota.
3.) Reboot and dont set up device ( not necessary )
4.) Go to backup and reset in settings, do a factory reset with internal storage ( This will wipe everything, BACKUP NEEDED )
5.) Let the process complete and check /data partition via DiskInfo app.
6.) If it isnt, do a factory reset again via stock recovery.
7.) If nothing helps, follow first method.
I cant guarantee this will work, but many users have reported this as working.
I think this will be sufficient.
oneplus fooling us??
is the open beta 10 and oxygen os OTA same????? they havent uploaded any links on the oneplus downloads page

How to factory reset OP 3 with PC?

Hello,
it seems to be that sth went wrong today. I wanted to factory reset my OP3 but right now nothing is working.
The initial set up was the following:
Unlocked bootloader with TWRP installed. Oxygen OS + several custom ROMs installed
What I did:
I deleted the data from system partition since I thought that they Oxygen OS system data will be deleted.
Problem:
Right now I get a encryption hint without the possibiity to factory reset my OP3 since I don´t get access to the data partition in order to upload a Oxygen OS .zip on my OP 3 from my PC.
What can I do in oder to factory reset my OP3 with the help of my PC? I want to install the OnePlus 3 OxygenOS Open Beta 28.
Search mega unbrick guide method 2 and then flash the last OnePlus recovery and then flash OB28
I managed to flash the most current Oxygen OS on my OP3 by doing a factory reset within TWRP and flashing the Oxygen OS .zip and Magisk 4.5.
BUT after rebooting, the file system seems to be encrypted again in TWRP (even allowing explicitly file modifications!). This means that I am not able to flash another .zip.
How can I manage that the file system remains decrypted also in TWRP?
I don't have access in TWRP to my files in oder to flash an OS Update and so on. It seems to be encrypted in TWRP. How can I manage to have access to all my files located in the internal flash?

If you boot OOS without any force encryption disabling mod them it will encrypt. It's not a problem at all if you use the right TWRP. Pick the TWRP from the Bluspark thread and you should be fine.

If you pay attention, it also explains how searching in the internet works. It's littery the first result if you google "Oneplus 3 Bluspark".
I was already using
twrp-3.2.1-x_blu_spark_v8.61-op3_op3t.img !!!
BUT nevertheless I don't have access to any file (e.g. .zip) even using the newest version of the Bluspark TWRP. Every directory is listed with 0 Bytes.
When accessing TWRP an Error message comes up but I can allow file modifications. But this doesn't help to get access to any file.

Well, if you can't access your data with TWRP then you are ****ed any way.
I can only not access the data in Recovery! In OOS no peoblems at all!!
I don't understand why in Recovery nö data access is possible.

I'm having problems with TWRP and OrangeFox, permission errors all the time

I'm facing some permissions problems and thus being unable to install Paranoid Android Q5. I was using MIUI 12 (Xiaomi.EU).
The steps I took to change the ROM:
Formated data (errors started right away) then I did the usual wipes (cache, dalvik, data)
Whenever I try to wipe or format data I get error messages like: Error opening /data/XXX (Operation not permitted).
System is always mounted read-only no matter what I try and after I install any ROM many of these error messages pop up.
Orange Fox gives some error about key.
Flashing of the ROM suceeds, but system cannot boot, loading screen forever.
Can anyone point me some directions?
Thanks in advance and sorry about any possible bad grammar.

I wanted to try the pixel experience betas with Android 11 but because of this problem with the TWRP I have not succeeded (in case I have Android 10 under MIUI 12.0.3 and RN8 Ginkgo model and obviously unlocked bootloader)

Format data ..(backup first if u need ) .. the boot to recovery again ... Should decrypt the data ... Worked for me ...
I am having this exact problem.
Under internal storage (sdcard) I see a bunch of hashed folders I cannot open.
Format data returns a multitude of "Error opening '/data/somefolder/asdf/asdf' (Operation not permitted) and marks the wipe as Failed. The attempted formatting also mentions "E:Error making /sdcard/Fox directory: Required key not available." "Failed to unmount '/data' (Device or resource busy)
I can wipe anything except Data. I also tried downgrading to 12.0.1 firmware but it does not fix it for me.
The ROM can be booted into, and magisk managed to be installed, but no google apps were installed.

I tried this, but no luck on my side.
Recovery download link on description. Only for Note 8/8T.
I flashed it with fastboot and works fine!
A problem like this was the one I had since TWRP had the device encrypted but it did not inform me and it did not give me any sign that I had to write a password (password that I have no idea what it is).
What I did so that it did not give me an error was to install Orangefox and while there delete everything and install a file of these that I got from google.
I had to try one by one and restart to see if it asked me for a password in orangefox, luckily one worked and it no longer asked me to decrypt the files and I could install the rom and gapps normally

if you need to do something to system or vendor go to ofox menu/mount and choose what partition to mount

Can't wipe it still, I already try the Mount > ✓ Vendor ✓ System.. but in formatting it say's "Cant Mount the....blah..blah.."
I try to uncheck the "Mount System vendor, system as read-only" from the settings of mount.. but for some reason, if you go back to Mount options again, you can't check the system, vendor now

Yes, I need it to flash a ROM
try this it worked
Had the same issue.
1. I installed twrp via ADB
2. Restarted to recovery mode into twrp
3. Installed the latest OrangeFox and restarted into recovery again.
4. It asked me for a password which is the pin I set then proceeded to format data.
5. After formatting data I restarted again to recovery.
Then I was able to install custom roms.
I am using derpfest Android 12 on my Poco x3 pro. I want to install magisk.zip through orange fox recovery installed on my phone. But I am not getting storage data on recovery, only a fox folder is there. Can somebody tell me is it a glitch or any Android 12 restrictions or something.
