If you are having to ask me, I'm going to guess that this isn't an issue for you. I put in my own firewall and blocked China specifically. You'd know it if you did it (and how to undo it as well).

Cab files are opened and created with WinCE CAB Manager but you have to buy the license, however it is not difficult to use.

Yesterday my One X arrived which i bhought from eBay !
The seller said it has still a warranty till august 2014 , (he sent me a bill with the invoice number etc.)
then i wanted to root the phone , unlocked it via htcdev and get Android Revolution HD on it.
Now i noticed that my Phone is one of the first with the wlan antenna bug.
So now i want to go Back 2 Stock and let the Phone repair or something in a Vodafone store , do u think they will restore it despite the relocked bootloader ?
and how i go back to stock ? (or which is the best variant)
Due to the wlan bug they should directly repair it...it doesn't even matter if you have flashed a custom Rom or not...it's an issue which HTC knows already so tell the Vodafone store they have to send the phone in ...because if you let it send to HTC or the repair center partner of them they should repair it ...but don't take just s normal repair center they won't do something like that and they want you to charge then...but they should I send also my phone with custom Rom on it really tweaked bla bla they just repaired WiFi...ok still wasn't repaired really good because maybe it needs a whole mainboard changing...I would say try it and you will see

can be up to 2 weeks or three but it depends if they have to change mainboard or not...i had to wait a bit more then a month because they had to get the mainboard from HTC headquarters in taiwan

Normally they gave it only if it would be in the first few month..3-6 month or so....then you could get new one...but now it's way too late

Lol ja manchmal dauerts langer manchmal nicht aber es kann sogar sein dass bei deinem Handy vllt nichts gefixt wurde xD bei mir war es einmal neun Monat weg wurde nix gefixt dann ne Woche und es wurde bisschen fertig gemacht Damm zum dritten mal fast zwei Monate weg und es wurde bis auf das display was wie neu war ALLES neu gemacht...ok hatte auch nen Brick mein Handy war im apx modus gesperrt xD

But, as it's O2 branded, there's not the latest firmware on it, and I can tell you it's getting pretty warm, and I have just installed a bunch of apps from the store...
So I decided to f*ck the warranty right away and want to flash some unbranded software. But as said, I'm totally new to HTC devices and how I find unbranded firmware images for my device.
Could one please show me the right direction, and where to find htc firmware files ?

eingeben and the white Gesture Line is away

Go to developer settings and enable USB debugging and USB debugging (security settings)
Then connect per USB to computer and via adb:
adb -d shell settings set global hide_gesture_line 1
Enter and the white gesture line is gone

Interessant, hat bei mir mit der obigen Befehlszeile funktioniert. Kann nur sein das der Balken nach einem Neustart wieder da ist...

Replace the 1 with 0
So if someone is on android 12 GSI and want to hide that bar here is TUTORIAL.
Im on latest PixelExperience and it worked for me.
Edit: unfortunately it work only to reboot.
After reboot need to reinstal fabricated overlay apk.

This is just the settings menu where you can switch between gesutes and old on screen buttons. Also it's not really hidden, you can search for it from the settings also since it's part of the launcher you can access it from the launchers settings. Be on the home screen do a pinch-in (zoom out) gesture then Settings - > System Navigation

If you using magisk just install this module and nav bar dissapear even after reboot.
