Hello. I'm wondering which custom ROMs stay true and very close to stock AOSP. Maybe something like AOSP Extended but without all the extra features?

Are CM10 and MIUI based ROMs comparable in quality/performance at all to the stock camera? I've been afraid to flash anything that's not touchwiz based because I'm concerned about this
Yup...no problems.
Every AOSP or AOKP rom I try even with different kernels such lean kernel or cyanogen mod does not work well with snapchat and skype alternatives or specific roms that work with these ? might have to revert back stock.
I want to have aosp based ROM with stock functions. Is there aby ROM like that? Or at least stock ROM with aosp design, lockscreen, statusbar etc? Im on D855.

There's no aosp based rom with all the stock functions and there's no stock based rom with aosp design.
This might be a dumb question but why isn't there a pure AOSP ROM for the one plus 3 yet?
Am I missing something?
try exodus or sim6, they're pretty close AOSP with more features
What all is needed to port the Touchwiz Camera and S-Apps to AOSP/Lineage OS? I know I need the framework apk and I think the framework-res apk, but is there anything else? What about the kernel? What is in a TouchWiz kernel that makes it specifically TouchWiz?
My end goal is to build a Lineage based rom but with TouchWiz and fully functioning S-Pen apps and Samsung camera. Before anyone says it, the reason I don't just flash a TouchWiz rom is that this is more or less an experiment. I want to make a super lightweight rom with excellent battery life and all the features that I bought the phone for in the first place. I am currently running Modest (shoutout to kevintm78!) which is TW based but I want to try a different approach.
