Rax200 from Netgear.
I used to have wifi speed issues it was maxing at 300mbps, so my isp upgraded my modem and now it's maxing out my internet connection.
Not sure if it's related though.

strange bro, I have the same router and usually get 400 to 500mb. I have the fastest fiber connection through my ISP though. Your may have the slower fiber plan, I know the slower fiber plan speed maxes out at 100mb.

Got some very impressive results, test setup was WD AC1300 router connected by Gigabit Ethernet to the test PC. The result was very similar to the result from a much older Le Pro 3, so I suspect the router is the bottleneck.

This is with subpar signal. My typical wifi results are 12+m down and 5m upload so I know its not the phone. Any ideas?

That isn't horrible, but not as good as it can be. I find that my 4G upload speeds top out around 1-1.2mbps. I've heard that the upload speeds are capped at 1mb, and I've never gotten above 1.2mbps on upload. Do you ever reach any higher than what it showed in your screen cap? My up and download speeds fluctuate massively on 3g and 4g. Very inconsistent. My averages aren't bad, but I could test 4 times in 10 minutes and have wildly different results each time.
Ok. That makes sense. Odd that 4g uploads aren't able to push more info. Thanks, now that u mention it I don't think I have seen anyone get 2+m uploads
Upload speeds by nature are generally slower, so you aren't doing too bad there.

WiFi Boost/Extend

I need to boost my WiFi signal in my apartment. Even though I'm only 30 ft away (down a long hallway and around a corner), it keeps losing WiFi signal.
I am typing on my Note II, but I also have an S3 and two Galaxy Tab 10.1's (P7510) connected, all having the same issue.
My Router is a brand new Belkin N600 and it has both the 2.x & 5.x GHz Freq's, so the Booster/Extender would obviously need to as well.
Any recommendations, without getting too pricey?
Also, what's the best placement? The Router is in my livingroom, but I am always in my bedroom while using the devices.
Do I place the Booster/Extender in my bedroom with me?
Also, do they use a separate SSID? I saw a couple that are small little things that you plug into an outlet, but how would you even access them to set them up? Especially when my setup is Static and they're DHCP out of the box. I hate it when I have to switch my setup to add a new piece of hardware to my network!
Thanks!

Buy a repeater. You can buy one for i believe around 20dollars. Then plug that repeater along your hallway near your room.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Or buy a directional antenna for the router.
You can do with beer can
1.Remove ring

2.make cut as shown
Then like this
3. open up the middle piece of metal by bending it until it vaguely resembles the shape of a radar dish.
4.Place the completed Wi-Fi booster on your router. Place it so that the antenna pokes through the opening, and stick the base of the can to the router with a small piece of poster tack or other suitable adhesive. It's time to test how much your Wi-Fi is now boosted!

Experiencing Slow Ltd?

Is anyone else experiencing Slow LTE issues? Even when I was at 4 bars on the freeway by the Vegas Strip where I usually get good speed I was at like 1.5MBPS. At home now and still around 2 or so. With my Note 3 I would run speed tests all the time with great speed. I have added the Note 3 APN and haven't noticed much change. Will be testing more tomorrow. Just wanted to get anyone else's thoughts? Using at my house as I have the Note 3 for a year and never got speed results this low.

yeah but the speedtest results show he was on a cellular signal.
Have you tried restarting the phone? And have you asked anyone else what sort of speeds they are getting in that area?
I'm not seeing any issues with LTE speeds..

Lol I was on Cellular I turned Wifi off. Also my Cable is 100MBPS so trust me it wasn't that
I'm going to test at the Att store tomorrow and try with their in store demo unit. Don't know who in Vegas I can ask. Because no one I know has the phone yet!!!
Same issue here. Same for Note3 though. I usually notice it when indoors. You can switch to 4g instead. *#*#4636#*#* will take you to the menu where you can specify connection preferences. It will last till reboot. Otherwise call At&t and complain. Maybe they will do something.
I've been having slow lte speeds Here in chicagoland. I've had better speeds on previous phones. And I've noticed I've tried the FCC speed test app and the -dm for the signal strength is different from that showing up in the phone settings

LTE Speed

Hello guys. I have the 64GB/4GB variant of this phone and I think there is an issue regarding the LTE Speed. GSMArena says that the phone supports LTE-A (2CA) Cat6 300/50 Mbps. My operator is Cosmote Greece which provides LTE-A (4G+) speeds but my phone seems to be getting only the "simple" 4G speeds, meaning up to 100/50 Mbps. I have verified it through the engineering mode of the phone (*#*#4636#*#*) where the results are in the screenshot below. Has anyone with our phone achived higher speeds than 100 Mbps? (In multiple speedtests, I never got over 50 Mbps while other phones get 120+ Mbps). Thanks!

Mine was rapid on oreo, i suspect speeds have been limited in pie, thats all i can think of why bandwidth not as fast.

Question 5G Network

I have the Google Pixel 6 Pro by Verizon and I have a 5G tower about 1.5 miles from my house. I get really good speeds or so I thought. When I run the speedtest app I get around 75mb of download and about 50 of upload. My neighbor using his Samsung S21 Ultra get at least double my speeds. Now we both have about 3 bars of cell service when we are at our houses, but when we go to where the tower is we have 5 bars of service. He gets 330mb of dl and about 70 upload. I get about 150 dl and 50 up. His speedtest app reads 5G Verizon Network and mine reads LTE Verizon Network. I went to Verizon and got a new sim card, I have rebooted the phone several times and reset the network in the settings but no luck.
I read an article here on this but I'm still confused why the S21 would show 5G Verizon where the GP6Pro shows LTE Verizon. I am attaching pics below. We are both standing at the same place using the same network. His reads 5G mine reads LTE... Just wondering if anyone else has the same issue.

Ensure that you are indeed on 5G and not LTE in settings
I finally got 5g and got 634mb download which was surprising and was indoors too and still get LTE on my Speedtest app also.
