Speaker issues after updating to Oxygen OS 10 ! - OnePlus 5T Questions & Answers

Hi!
I have updated my 5T to the latest version of OxygenOS 10.0.0 over OTA. After the update the speaker stopped to work. If I active the speaker it does not work and the caller cannot hear my voice.
Any updates on this issue?!!!
I am thinking to install a custom ROM. Most probably "PE" but I have noticed that it is no longer receive any updates. what is your recommendation?

Hi,
I have the original rom 6.0.1 but it is unlocked with TWRP..., notification appeared to update to Nougat and the system restarted and went to TWRP.
Can I install over the current rom the file I just download via TWRP? (https://android.googleapis.com/packa...3e21e543c0.zip)
Thanks

AFAIK, you could NOT do it with custom recovery. It will brick your device.
Official download link/instructions @ razer's site now. h ttps://insider.razerzone.com/index.php?threads/robin-factory-images-and-usb-driver.21487/
This update has been really bad on all of my Robins. I've taken them all back to the last 6 build.
My issues experienced on four different robins:
Would not connect to LTE.
Random reboots.
Freezing and then reboots.
Phones would get extremely hot.

If this is true then I will not do the update (Nougat) until I check more reports about the same or the opposite.
I'll wait...!
I've been running the Nougat beta without issues for the last couple months. Now I'm on official 7.1.1 Beta and it's quite nice. No random reboots, no issue with LTE on T-mobile. Heat and the Snapdragon 808 basically go hand in hand though lol. I'm running Ghostpepper Interactive CPU profile and everything is even smoothier than stock lol.

I've only had my Robin for a few weeks, but I've definitely noticed 7.0 being buggy (at least in comparison to my previous Nexus 6P...) Glad to read about a beta for the Robin though. I may take a look at that before resorting to flashing a ROM like Lineage.

Beta builds are also buggy and laggy.
Lineage builds are buggy as hell and no longer maintained until the bugs are fixed.
I can recommend Omni.

I appreciate the advice. I'll be sure to check out Omni.
Today I have received an update from Nextbit from Anroid 7.0 to Android 7.1.1 (I am not on beta channels or custom roms). Size was 540-560 MB. I did not notice change logs as I was excited to see the update suddenly. Android Security patch: April 2017

Any new features or updated stock apps?
Any idea if this is last official update?
Any beta testing going on?

Stock or Lineage?

Hi,
What is better to install on lenovo p2, stock firmware or Lineage 14?
Lineage in my opinion is still buggy being unofficial.
Led not working and low in call volume. I think we need to wait a bit longer for Shale rom.
Definitely Los. Wait for the offical los to be released by mike.
I'm to waiting for official lineageos. And hope mike will be best developer which will not leave us uptile we get official update
I'm on stock and use Substratum for android message app, youtube and whatsapp, and playstore. So i can wait it out unti lthen.

Development Updates?

Is the Sprint Oreo update the only thing holding us back from custom rom and kernel development, or what's going on? I love my Moto and I'd like to see this beastly dream machine fly farther than the stock rom and kernel can carry it.
There is a nougat custom kernel. Sadly, I cannot make a good and stable Oreo version until Sprint gets the update. A lot of changes happened on the Oreo update so you would need to update to Oreo for any new releases that will happen. Right now Nougat Pantheon is just on update status when linux-stable comes out with an update.

Okay, cool, thanks for the info ?

headphone bug in Lineage ROMs.

I recently installed the Lineage ROM and then the Pixel Xprience Unofficial ROM. I faced this problem that whenever I connected earphones, there was no output via the earphones.Youtube videos even lagged when playing with earphones on but was fine with speakers in the Pixel Xprience ROM.
Did anyone else face this issue?

I currently am on limited data plan so it will take a while for me to download 5.1.1 stable OOS.
But I observed that the above errors were not present on MoKEE ROM and AOSP Extended ROM or when I went back to OOS Open Beta 9. Tried dirty flashing Lineage over both AOSP Extended and MoKEE but the issue persisted.
Just the firmware is 60mb. Type docs oneplus 5t firmware xda into google. They are flashable zips
Solved.
Flashing the OOS 5.1.1 ROM helped. The earphones problem appears solved in Lineage ROMs. Thankyou for the guidance.

Microphone doesn't work

Hi,
i have installed LineagsOS 16 on my Oneplus 5T but the microphone isn't working. There is only a rush when i make a call. I can hear the other but they dont hear my. Also the audio recorder don't work. I downgraded to the last stock but its the same problem. on my last phone - Oneplus 3 - i can remember i had to downgrade to an older version before flashing a newer LineageOS. I've never tested that. Is this the same with the OnePlus 5T? Problem is i can't remember what version was installed as i flashed LineageOS 16.
