[FIX] FIX For Low Mic Gain

I was facing this issue after converting my F180k to E975 . Other party would always say your voice is low and its breaking ,i was really pissed off hearing speak louder every time . I did lot of research and came across many threads but found no viable solution . I was pretty sure mic is ok and problem is software related because whenever i would record a video or my own voice it was very clear .I edited build.prop in many ways but nothing worked . After editing build.prop in many ways i finally found a solution and now mic gain is like it is supposed to be. Other party can hear me loud and clear with noise reduction function fully working .
How to Fix
1. Open System\build.prop using some root explorer (I suggest FX file explorer with root add on)
2. Remount system as R/W
3. Scroll down to # snapdragon value add feature
4. Further scroll 2 lines down
5. Find line "ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=none"
6. Change "none" of above line to "fluence"
7. Save file
8. Reboot
It should work like a charm now .
This is for stock E975 rom or any other stock based rom . You may not find these lines in build.prop of CM or AOSP based rom .
NOTE: I have edited this thread because previous fix which i posted stopped working .

Hy all i was facing this issue after converting my F180k to E975 . I flashed CM 10.1 it somehow solved the issue but battery drainage was faster , finally I came across G Pro forum with similar issues and someone had posted a fix there for G Pro , i modified it a bit and it worked . Although mic gain is still low but other party listens to me clearly and there is no voice breaking at all . Noise cancellation feature is still working properly . I called on my friends phone and went in other room , he was talking to me but i could hear background noises like TV etc . I gave him my phone and took his then talked to him again in same environment , this time his voice was clear as he was sitting in some quite cabin and i could not hear any background voice .
How to Fix
1. Open System\build.prop using some root explorer (I suggest FX file explorer with root add on)
2. Remount system as R/W
3. Scroll down to # System props for audio
4. Change "persist.audio.fluence.mode=endfire" to "persist.audio.fluence.mode=False"
5. Change "persist.audio.handset.mic=digital" to "persist.audio.handset.mic=Analog"
6. Save file
7. Reboot
IT IS IMPORTANT TO CHANGE THE LINES AS I HAVE MENTIONED MEANS " F" of False and "A" of Analog should be capital.
I have tried it on Artmod v 2.0( stock based rom) and working fine . It should work on stock or all other stock based or cm based roms .

Suggestions optimizing htc 10 on Oreo (Rooted or not)

So I have had oreo for a month it started off fine . Performance has degraded a bit . I notice that it is really laggy inside google camera app.So has anyone had oreo and found ways to improve overall performance / battery life . Also if anyone can link a guide on how to root on oreo I would greatly appreciate it. Do I have to follow the same procedure as before on 7.0 (install twrp through adb and then flash magisk ) ?
IF lagging in a ported app...as the htc camera app runs fine, then its the app causing it... without root.. can be done with Magisks yes... Not much can be done...

Netflix on Pixel C

Hi folks.
Im using OFFICIAL LinAge OS 15.1 without GApps (jepp i have no intention to use Google Account nor Apps ) and im using Netflix for quit some time.
Last i checked Netflix wants an update. After that update i cant use this app anymore ("This device is not supported").
Any suggestions how to fix this ?
Is it bc of Google (safetyNet), i dont have or the unlocked bootloader itself ?
I tried different versions , even fiddle with magisk hide.....no success.
THx in Advance
Hi,
Sorry, i don't understand, i have similar problem on Rom Resurection Remix...
I think go test Rom Pixel :/
Hi, i'm run on Pixel Experience and Resurection Remix (Pie)

MIUI 11 and cam2api

Why??? why Xiaomi why...
I've followed a lot of tutorials to flash a camera 2api module enabler this shouldn't be complicated so i'm gonna post what i have been doing to see if someone can help
Bootloader unlocked
In fastboot mode:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img (am using the latest)
So i flash twrp temporarely just to enable gcam
In twrp i used a lot of modules but none of them work
Some even say that the flash was sucessful but in manual camera compatibilty it knows that the cam2api isn't enabled
If anyone could help it would be amazin
(Miui 11.0.5 Android 9)
My fear is that i can't flash cam2api on pie that would be a shame
Also, i don't want to root the phone that's why i'm not using a build prop editor
Ok so this just got more bizarre i've extracted the build.prop and the changes are there
the value is set to 1!!... but i am still failing any camera 2 api test...
If someone could help me understand this behaviour it would help a lot
Same for me. All camera2api guides I've seen are more or less sophisticated ways of adding lines to /system/build.prop, but that doesn't seem to be enough to enable camera2api and I'm dying to know why.
Whyred, MIUI Global 11.0.3, Android 9, bootloader unlocked. When I pull build.prop to my PC, it contains both "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1" and "persist.vendor.camera.HAL3.enabled=1", but camera tests fail and ported gcams just crash.
All ideas welcome.
