Good glass screen protector with no UV? - OPPO Find X2 Pro Accessories

Anybody can recommend a good cheap glass screen protector? I'm scared of buying from AliExpress they all look dodgy.
There's also so many different and similar ones on eBay.
I don't want the UV lamp kind as that sounds very messy, not sure what the benefits of that are.
Th only glass screen protectors I've found that seem reputable are:

What is the Best LG G3 Screen Protector?

I just bought an LG G3 smartphone (going for Android) and just like in my previous phone iPhone 5 i used the Spigen Screen protector I bought from Amazon, but now with LG G3 i'm looking for a different brand, any idea if what is the best screen protector for the LG G3? I found this and bought with easy installation dubbed smart film, so far so good love it!
MOD EDIT: Link removed. Affiliate links are not permitted
But I'm looking for other alternatives for a screen protector, my wife is planning to buy one also, any suggestions?
Here are my qualifications
Should be easy to install (no water spray installation please)
will not turn yellow
bubble free
and of course it cost less

Why not stick with Spigen?
Bubbles only occur if there is dust or particle underneath. I've installed multiple screen protectors flawlessly. If there are bubbles caused by particles, I just use scotch tape and remove it.
Yellowing is very rare. Most standard screen protectors don't use water. It uses static to cling to screen. Only those "shield" require water and even those aren't smooth or clear.
It seems people are into tempered glass now. I just ordered 2 (one for me and the other for wife). I won't get my phone until Saturday. So I'll have the tempered glass and case before I'll have phone.
i am using momax glass sp...very good as it prevent lot of finger prints and smudges

I bought mine off eBay. Haven't received it yet so i havent tried it. And as I mentioned, I won't have my phone until Saturday when I'm eligible for upgrade. Bought it from seller impressgifts.
iCarez is another brand that I heard was good. Was going to get them but wanted to build up my eBay bucks

I got the Skinomi glass protector:
http://www.amazon.com/Skinomi-Tech-...TF8&qid=1406120489&sr=1-1&keywords=g3+skinomi
I had one for my G2 as well. I didn't notice the iCare one; it seems to be half the price, and seem identical from what I can see. You can't even tell it is on, it never scratches (I problem with the plastic films, you eventually get nicks, etc). I had no problems with knock on/off or sensitivity (it has the appropriate cutouts - earlier versions of the G2 one didn't and that caused problems, IIRC). Great investment, you'll likely never need another protector (I had to replace my Spigens every few months on other phones).
For the price difference between the Skinomi and iCare: not sure why. I know if the Skinomi comes with a an alcohol swab and microfiber cloth as well as a large screen-sized sticker for pulling off any dust right before you put on the glass. Not sure if the iCare comes with those, but they were handy. Not sure if they were $6 handy...
I never had an issue with regular screen protectors. I put them on my phones and they last for the 2 years+ until I get a new phone.
Most I paid for the flimsy screen protectors is probably $15 for a 2 pack from reputable brands. This is my first time buying a tempered glass. This may make me buy tempered glass for all my phones in the future.
I bought that same ICarez one a few day ago and to be honest Im happy with my purchase. Its a good fit, no too thick and doesnt effect the screen sensitivity too much. As for fingerprints its the same as the actual screen glass ie fingerprints do get on it but wipe off very easily.
thinking about trying this

Maybe it's cliche but I got the Zagg HD put on mine and it's spot on. The fact that it self-heals is a big help. I also kinda like the slight grip.
I have the Spigen tempered glass on mines. Flawless! I got lucky and lined it perfectly on the first try. It also doesn't bubble up with any case on. The only con is that it's quite expensive, but it performs as advertised so I'm satisfied with it.

yes I guess I have to switch to tempered glass protectors than the usual plastic protectors
I switched from Spigen (plastic) to an iCarez tempered glass. Very, very happy with the results. I had issues with fingerprints with the Spigen, and the tempered glass just feels better.

you got the regular icarez? .33mm? mind putting a picture? thanks
Yes I got the .33 mm Icarez and I tried taking pictures but you really cant see anything in them. Its just basically a glass over it nothing really to see but il post what I can
I ended up buying the tempered glass from the Verizon store (didn't wanna change my phone while I waited for one).
Plays well with my otter box after removing built in screen pro, and my ballistic. Can't even tell it's there. .
Not to mention I seen someone drop a 15lb weight on their phone, and just the tempered broke. Your results may vary, just passing it along.

[Q] Crystalusion, Zagg, or something else?

I've just ordered a G3 and I want to get a decent screen protector for it. I've been looking at the Crystalusion stuff and it looks impressive - does anyone have experience with that? Also, I like Zagg because of the lifetime guarantee. Tempered glass seems to be a good way to go, although it's expensive, but other brands don't seem to offer the same guarantee.
Any other suggestions welcome - although I'm in the UK, so the products need to be available there. In the past I've used the Zagg and Skinomi wet apply screen protectors and have really liked them, so I'm open to that - although I get the impression that a tempered glass solution provides a better feel - is that true?
Important note - I don't use cases with my phones, so the screen protector needs to be solid without a case and not crack around the edges as some apparently do.
Thanks in advance!
I have never used a screen protector or tempered glass until owning a G3. I installed a Tech Armor tempered glass protector and it is great. I believe they also have a lifetime guarantee. I bought it off eBay. The seller was Tech Armor.

Is this the one you mean? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tech-Armor-Ballistic-Protector-Touchscreen/dp/B00KFSLJAM/
I've used wet apply protectors and glass protectors on numerous different phones.
Glass definitely has the best feel. If you go the glass route, I think there are a few brands for the G3 that offer maximum coverage (exact cutouts for earpiece/front camera)
Pthink and there was another which I don't remember right now.
I have gone with the Skinomi tech glass in the past but my favorite right now is the iloome flexible glass. It is cheap(can be had for $10), covers pretty close to the edge of screen, and comes with a plastic film on both sides of the glass making installation with hinge method super easy. This is important because hinging tape onto glass isn't a very strong bond and makes installation unsteady. It is also super thin probably the thinnest glass protector on the market as of today.
Can you direct us to where it can be purchased for $10?
Had this on my Nexus 5 and loved it

Best glass screen protector

What is the best/everyones favourite screen protectors? I head that the Nillkin H+ . Is this true? Thanks :good:
Not sure if there is a best, it's just tempered glass. The major differences would be minor features like thickness, cutout accuracy, and edge rounding.
I have tried many different glass screen protectors, from iVolver to Nilkin. I am back with Nilkin now cause I think it is the best. Especially Im very OCD with fingerprint smudges, and Nilkin does wonderful with the anti-oleophobic coating so, I am very satisfied.
There is no the best, just has the fit. i had just bought a cheap OPT glass screen from here, and cost 2.99, free shipping, and i use well.
I have ordered /cool mango/ tempered glass from Amazon
Pretty cheap just 299rs including delivery, lets see how it goes ..
Similar questions like these are being asked all the time.. And honestly they are all more or less the same. Regardless of what brand you buy and the source, they all claim to do the exact same thing, and after using several glass protectors for different devices, I can safely say this is true. What you'll want main is the thickness, try go get the thinnest possible ones. However do take note that quite often those glass that claim to be 0.2mm is in reality 0.26mm, with some being as thick as 0.3mm. You may not feel that much of a difference by the time you slap the glass on your screen though. So the next important thing to look out for is the quality of the oleophobic coating, which you will only find out how good it is by the time you use it.
My suggestion is just buy any low priced tempered glass off Aliexpress or something. They only cost a dollar or two and usually ship for free, so just go ahead and grab 2 or 3 pieces. If you want to play it safe you may buy different types from different sellers so you can try out different brands and see which one you prefer.
Same boat with cr0wnest.
I bought probably 3 screen protectors from different manufacturers ( and different prices) for Oneplus 1. And all of them either got broke/ chipped ( served there purpose of course, that is protect the screen of the phone).
Now, I just bought 2 pieces of cheaper screen protectors for my Oneplus Two just in case they get damaged.
I got two from Aliexpress which costed $1.28 , fits perfectly and happy so far. I don't think you should pay "genuine" glasses that much money. They are almost identical and do the same jobs.
They are not all the same. I've experienced uneven adhesive coating at the edges of the cheaper ones. It happened once on my LG G3 and now on the OPT. As far as Nilkin is concerned, they are the most consistent in product quality, which is why I used them if I can (I bought the cheaper one as a temporary measure until I could get the Nilkin shipped to me).
Oh, one more thing. I had polarisation issues with cheaper tempered glass protectors but not with Nilkin. This happened when I use the phone for navigation in the car, with polarised sunglasses.

Sorry to hear that perhaps you got unlucky. I've tried tons and tons of tempered glass for different devices and they are all almost identical in overall quality. Never had any issues with adhesive as far as I'm concerned, unless the protective film protecting the adhesive was damaged. You are far more likely to get a glass damaged during shipment rather than getting one that is of poor quality.
Casebase Premium Tempered Glass...
...is the best!
Anyway to remove the air bubble inside the glass other than taking it off....
The Toughest Tempered Screen Protector for OnePlus 2 Tested ! Casebase Review - Tortured !
Orzly is in my eyes the best one. It has rounded edges and the fit is perfect. I tried Nillkin but it cracked the first day in the thin area around the home button.
original oneplus protector is pretty good, but evolutive labs makes one thats quite strong. but quite expensive ($25)
The OnePlus Tempered glass is very bad its get scratches.
So far if you install it properly, Nillkin is the best. Mocolo/glass4m and Ultimate Shield is good too
I'm currently using the official tempered glass on my OnePlus Two (my daily driver), and a brandless third-party one for my OnePlus One and I must say that my experience with the official protector has been better.
I dropped my OPT from shoulder height and it landed facedown on a marble floor and it miraculously survived (no visible scratches). So based on my experience it's pretty durable.
I know it probably is accidental but the protector on my OnePlus One is starting to loosen up near the capacity buttons, and I have not even used it that much.
I'm not saying it's first-party > third-party because there are a lot of good third party protectors out there (e.g. Nillkin), but in my case the official one has been treating me better.

Glass screen protector recommendation?

Hi,
I'm looking to buy a good glass screen protector for my girlflriend's S9, and most of the "viral" one like Whitestone or others have not so good reviews on sites like Amazon.
Can anyone recommend me a good one, that doesn't pop out after a while and has no issues with touch sensitivity?
Thanks!
Have you looked at the Zagg glass curved elite. I have them on my phone and my wife's. They work really well and they have a good warranty. No complaints.

Case with a built in screen protector

Anyone here knows of a place that sells cases for the bs3 that come with a built in screen protector. Or even just a good shock protective case and plastic/gel screen protectors?
Im a bit of a clumsy fella and already dinged up the screen protector on the bs3. Would feel alot better not having the cheap plastic case that comes with the phone on it.
Even a good drop protective case and the normal screen protectors (not the tempered glass) seem to be impossible to find.
Ebay is the place u need to check
I bought 4 cases 3 glass protectors front and back from Ebay , already delivered and amaaaaaaxing
