hello all, sure many are familar with the controversy that surrounds the galaxy watch 3, with the aim of attaining a working EKG, BP etc health functions, Im interested in knowing if anyone has successfully bought or used the korean model outside korea? my aim is to purchase a device from Korea and import it to the UK for working in the UK on a UK phone. Can anyone offer ideas or advise if anyone has tried this. Many Thanks.

good luck. please let me know how it goes. till this is all figured out I ordered an active 2 which is doing a decent job of BP monitoring. I really need BP monitoring above all else.

Only one I found so far that works on the Watch 3 is in the link below.
It is a zip file and you "Don't need a Computer to install it".

The shorter way with APK as TPK Installer seems work only with Samsung Phones...
Because written by Samsung... only TPK replaced with BP / ECG
You can replace TPK inside this APK for other projects... Resign APK...

the watch I bought was faulty. I have asked for a. replacement. should know shortly. in the interim I have also experimented a lot with the GWA2 and have learnt installation with any other phone, via PC, right tpks and apks to match. I should be able to revert with my UK GW3 loading by saturday.
ok, so after 2 days of fidgiting, I have got the UK model fully working. So the procedure followed was :
installing tpks via pc, and signing them after editing the manifest file. sounds complicated, but not that bad. GOT my new GW3 working.

Yes you need to download the app from Google, then also download it from the Samsung store for the watch itself. Make sure to use an actual BP cuff to measure your readings the first few times do you know it is accurate.
After 2 weeks of doing it, I figured out it's normally within 5 points +/- of an actual medical BP cuff. Also, I have failures if the watch is worn normally, but by wearing it on the inside of my wrist, it gets a reading 95% of the time with no error.

I am in Italy too
Download and install My BP Lab apk, then register your mail and fill in all info required (I know... you have to say that we are in USA)
My BP Lab staff told me that have plans to open the app up to the Galaxy Watch in mid-April... finger crossed!

First requirement is that you need at least a Galaxy S9/S10 or Note 9. Samsung phones older than that won't work.

I have a galaxy s10e, at this day I could't install my bp lab on the watch active :crying:
Can I use this app with a rooted smartphone Samsung Galaxy? And, Can I buy some watch face?
Or, Can I do this with other brand like LG? Rooted smartphone and buy some watch faces?

last time I've bought around 6 months ago, it was working then. Currently I have S10+ without root so I'm not sure if it's still working but I suppose it is.

Oh sorry guys was at work when I saw the reply and forgot to reply once I was home. I've since reset my watch so will have to set it up again as it's a workaround mainly dealing with Samsung pay on the watch by downgrading aswell as moving busy box to external SD card from xbin folder. I also hid Samsung services from magisk and hid magisk manager itself running v19.2 but think it worked without having to do that step for me. I can't use it as spay doesn't support my bank or credit cards yet but I'll try and get it working again and post back in the next 1-3 days.

Thanks for the input i saw but for once wanted to be sure if anyone in india jas tried sideloading it and it worked and i guess what's going to happen when the apps are made officially available in India which at present seems unlikely

I got new active 2 during bbd sale. I have Galaxy phone. After updating watch to 5.5.0.1, I just side loaded samsung monitor app from one of the youtube videos and BP ECG works. (No spo2)

I can confirm everything works, i made my Indian active 2 ( R825F ) working all things, lte works with JIO, samsung pay started working ecg and BP working with couple of apks, neither of them were working before here in my country India except the LTE, wow it was soo easy, just get that easy firmware membership and you can follow techno Proz youtube video, such a relief.
Which versions of files you downloaded from, maybe more accurately. THANKS

What is the Method you used to get them working?
Are there any Galaxy watch 5 pro mods to hack the ECG/EKG and blood pressure reader into working. Samsung falsely advertised these features, and since there Is no class action law suit to jump on we need a hack/workaround.

ECG/EKG and BP sensors, in fact, does not work in the USA without the hack. I have two GW5 pros, and the new one still doesn't work, while the old one that I hacked does work in USA.

I just bought the Watch5 Pro and I took a chance with the BP measuring working with it. I know I need to relax and wait for the feature to be released in the US. But, you know how it is.... Heck, I bought a $40 watch () and it has the BP measuring on it. For $40, it's not so bad and it works most of the times. LOL! I can use a real BP monitoring machine or the BP app on that watch to get a rough estimate. But, if you can share the hack, that would be Awesome Sauce!
