Camera Closes Immediatley
Installed today. Main app that's not working is Google camera. I granted all permission and wiped cache and data. Upon opening always closes/crashes immediately. Installed Open Camera; it works.
GoogleFi network switching isn't working for me. T-Mobile works fine.

Google Camera works here for me, please make sure you installed a compatible version.

The one from Google Play is for Pixels only, you need to get a specific modded version for this device.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks! I'm guessing the camera included in the rom got overwritten by an update. I installed a modded version from the below thread. It seems to hang sometimes, but otherwise works. Time will tell.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g7/themes/best-google-camera-g7-t4147067
Any thoughts on the network switching with Google fi? I'm wondering if unlocking bootloader kills that function.

Can't wait to try this; kudos to the dev! Will update if I have any helpful info

Youtube TV doesn't work
Just installed the pixel experience plus ROM (from 9/16/2020) on my Moto G7 and tried to run youtube TV. I was able to cast stuff from the app to my TV, but when I tried to watch something directly on my phone, it immediately restarted.
How can I fix this?

Does anyone have Google Fi and experience mobile data signal issues when using compatible custom roms? I get crappy signal where I live now but when I tried out this custom rom, as well as others, I get a constant NO SIGNAL or "x" mark on my signal bars at the top of my screen/notification QS panel. Is there anything during the format/flash/new install process that I could do or might be doing wrong to carry the modem firmware over without any modification? Is ANYONE else experiencing issues like this? Thanks, in advance, everyone. Awesome rom. by the way! Great job!

I was on Havoc rom prior and I noticed the signal bar would show no signal fairly often. This occurred in locations with decent signal. Never seemed to have issues making or receiving calls. On Pixel rom, signal bar behaves normally i.e. doesn't show no signal randomly.
clintongsan does network switching work for you? I haven't had it work since unlocking my bootloader. I'm wondering if maybe a firmware issue or some gapps component.

I saw NFC listed as a feature of this rom. Does this enable NFC in moto G7? I thought it didn't have the hardware necessary.

I installed Pixel Experience yesterday and my phone now has LDAC. Wonder why Motorola disabled it in Android 10?

Works fine here, what carrier & SKU

This may be a dumb question but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. What's the difference between the 10 and the 10 plus edition?

Thank you very much for your work !
Nearly everything is working now thats really great.
What do you mean by slider mechanism not working?
You can still use the selfie camera but have to launch it yourself?

It's miui eea as base and then you wipe everything and install normal procedures, furthermore does not matter any eea after v3.19 will do

Ha, you made one, should make you and a few others very happy.
I can't download the rom, there's an error on the webpage, it says that there's no file, can you help me please? i want really to try it, finally a custom rom for our 5g version, thanks for your hard work!!!!!!
Edit: It seems it was my fault, im downloading now! sorry and thanks again!!! i will give a try!!
New build available. Device and Vendor trees have been rebased on latest 10.3.23.0 EEA ROM.
There has been some optimisations done to the kernel, the phone feels a little bit snappier.
A minority of users reported issues with SMS messaging on earlier builds, I was personally affected by this issue. SMS messaging is now working for me, so if you had this problem it should now be fixed.
Opening the slider now opens the camera app. Closing the slider with the camera app open launches another instance of the camera app, so not quite working 100%. Closing the slider with the camera app closed does nothing.

**Edit: When rebasing the trees, safetynet hack wasn't applied properly. Will be fixed in next build**
Slider now directly opens the selfie camera, and safetynet hack is back. If you're using Google camera instead then the slider will open the main camera and you'll have to manually change to selfie cam.

NFC will work in few days, We're working on trees.
Is the stock camera able to work on AOSP roms or is there any solution that takes advantage of all 4 rear cameras?
Bluetooth crashes constantly when trying to play music thru audio
When updates are released will Gapps be persistent or will they need to be flashed after each update? Is Magisk root working with this ROM?

I've cleared Bluetooth data, reconnected/re-paired, tried every combination of codecs/settings in developer options. Bluetooth disconnects and crashes every time. I suppose I should go grab a cheap set of wired ear buds for times like this. I'll wait for the next build to see if it persists before I revert back to stock and wait for things to get a bit smoother. Appreciate your quick response tho man, good job & keep it up!
Please.... Fixed Power On using power button while offline charging

Crash happened cause it uses a different codec (A quality one). will fix in next update
Another thing that I have noticed is after unlocking with fingerprint, the fingerprint icon remains on the screen after unlocking sometimes.
EDIT: phone died for the first time since flashing and I can no longer boot into system, recovery or bootloader/fastboot. Phone is not recognized by Windows or Linux. My wife has the same phone running stock and I've tested and can say there's no issues with drivers it anything. I've rooted & flashed at least 15 different devices and have never had issues like this. I only get this screen of I plug in to any type of power source or try powering on.
This is the screen I am now stuck on
EDIT: tried hours later and it powered on. Weird.

Hi there, first of all thanks for providing us stock android custom rom.
Yesterday I flashed pixel experience 12.1 to my Nokia 8 following installation guide, it's pretty good but Note that camera audio not recording properly neither built-in voice recorder is recording sounds.

Hi, I've been a happy user of PixelExperience 11 for several month (first attempt of a non standard Android build for a daily use) and now trying to update to 12.
Can someone confirm that the T-virus 2.0 upgrade is necessary to install this build ? I can't find the answer here or on the intall guide on the PixelExperience website.

I have the same message on 11 so its not related to this version. It has never been an issue once the startup is completed for me, since last october. I discarded that as an tiny annoyance for having the guts to unlock the bootloader.

Since a recovery was always included with the rom I formerly flashed on my devices, I just flashed this one from TWRP 3.5.2 and it worked (also wiped internal, data and cache from TWRP to be sure).

No sound problem with the camera audio for me,. Regarding the built-in voice recorder, I had to select manually the correct device to use in the app parameter to make it work.
I have two complains about the camera app though. It is a bit slow and contrary to the one included on PE 11, I cannot select the storage, and thus my SD card, on this one. Except this, it seems to work pretty well.
I'll test the GPS and other stuff tomorrow and keep you updated.
Thanks for the great work on this rom @emufan4568
Edit 27/06/2022 :
Tested GPS, mobile data and calls today. General performance and battery drain were on par with PE11, very good.
Mobile data was stuck on HSDPA so I went to mobile data parameters to set it to "Global" instead of "GSM/WCDMA" to unlock LTE-A.

Right now, all NB1 ROMs are experiencing this issue unfortunately. But PE (I think) is the most stable one.
As a temporary solution, you can take pictures using Adobe Lightroom (works for me on CrDroid).
Ok, hopefully this will be fixed asap.
I'm using the camera app built-in the rom. I guess it's GCam.
With 3 more weeks of daily use I can complete my previous statement. The lag is not the main problem on my device as it only happens after a reboot. It's that the device stops saving pictures while displaying the shutter effect and all. If you don't shutdown your phone at night, you'll have to reboot it before you can take a picture. If you have to take several pictures, you'll have to reboot each 3 to 4 shots.
I'm installing Adobe Lightroom right now
I hope this will be fixed soon because this rom looks promising.
Last custom rom was on my Moto X 2nd gen but there was always something wrong.
Waiting for this lag to be fixed.
I forgot to ask but does Netflix and Google Pay work?

I hope this will be fixed soon because this rom looks promising.
Last custom rom was on my Moto X 2nd gen but there was always something wrong.
Waiting for this lag to be fixed.

Newest update contains many camera related fixes. I'm not sure if it's completely fixed but from my testing the camera should be a lot more stable.

Google Pay I can confirm works just fine, I use it for transactions. Netflix I think does too, but has limited quality due to lack of widevine l1 (it gets lost when unlocking the bootloader on 90% of devices).

This bug should be fixed now, or at least that what my testers reported. Please install the current OTA and test as well

Thank you for answering. Nice that Gpay works. About Netflix, what does this mean, i don't need 4K quality but 720p streams would be nice.

Android Open Source Project for Moto G60 & G40
About AOSP
Android is an open source operating system for mobile devices and a corresponding open source project led by Google. This site and the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) repository offer the information and source code needed to create custom variants of the Android OS, port devices and accessories to the Android platform, and ensure devices meet the compatibility requirements that keep the Android ecosystem a healthy and stable environment for millions of users.
As an open source project, Android's goal is to avoid any central point of failure in which one industry player can restrict or control the innovations of any other player. To that end, Android is a full, production-quality operating system for consumer products, complete with customizable source code that can be ported to nearly any device and public documentation that is available to everyone.
Just as you can contribute code to AOSP, you can also contribute to AOSP documentation—and we want your input! Android's flexibility and ever-changing codebase means this site needs your feedback to keep content fresh, accurate, and relevant to Android implementors. We encourage you to check the changelog for details on recent AOSP updates and to report bugs or offer suggestions using the Site Feedback at the bottom of every page.

Just because you we able to enjoy Android 12 and now Android 13 you are great sir thank you very muxh
This is absolutely bananas!
And you sir, are a wizard.
Many thanks for this!
By the way, from the description, it looks very similar to the PixelExperience ROM. Is there any difference?
Also, I see VoLTE mentioned as working (as with all your other projects). Is VoWIFI (WiFi Calling) working, too? Cause that would be amazing!

Yes works perfectly!
Thank you for confirming! How about twrp? Which version should we use? Can we use Android 12/12L version?
Which recovery I have to use 11_or12/12L b'coz I m on stock11
Google removed the ability to use custom fonts in Android 12? Looks like Motorola decided to keep this feature (and I'm glad they did). But now I'm wondering, is there any way to bring that back with custom ROMs? Or any alternative methods to achieve the same effect (without rooting the device)?

You can use the 12/12L TWRP recovery to install this ROM. Tested, working fine.
Potential bug: when trying to restore the backup from Google, it gets stuck in the "Just a few moments" screen.
Screenshot below.
Update:
If anyone else encounters this issue, it looks like the problem is...permissions.
If you get the Google Play services error, you need to change settings according.
Basically this is what needs to be changed.
Alternatively, you can simply go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Services > Permissions, and allow permissions for Contacts, Phone and SMS.
After that, you can go back one step in the restore flow (in case it's stuck in loading) and try to restore again. This time, it should go through.

It's only been a couple of hours for me. But yeah, it's working great so far.
Ok, one thing that doesn't work so far: Google Pay (Wallet). Can't add new cards to it.
The ROM is not rooted. But...I think it's missing NFC.
@arsradu does this rom comes with Gapps ?

Yes, you only need to flash the ROM. No need for Gapps.
Something else I've noticed.
The camera app seems to be the default AOSP one (of course). Would be nice if it could be built with maybe Google Camera or Moto Camera... Just an idea.
I tried to install Google Camera from the Play Store, and it does install...but it keeps crashing.
I managed to install GCam from here though.

Haven't tried LineageOS on this phone. But....so far so good. I mean, battery life depends on a lot of factors. Screen brightness, games you play, apps you use, network signal...etc etc etc. So...it might be great for me and awful for you. Also, I haven't used the ROM long enough to get an accurate idea for the battery life.
I'm posting here as I'm discovering new things that either don't work, could be improved on, or just my thoughts using the ROM. Everything I found is already posted here. But battery...that might take a bit longer to determine. And as I said, it depends.

Yeah, I agree. Although I noticed that lineage os has a superior battery life under the same day-to-day conditions as compared to PixelExperience which is why I was concerned

How about guide to flash this custom rom?
Example:
1. How about MIUI fw?
2. How about fastboot image?
3. How about recovery image?
4.1. How to flash custom rom (sideload)?
4.2. How to update custom rom?
Please don't quit development please
The only firmware that is so desirable for Poco F3
Tried that ROM. And noticed bug with Aperture app, that shows in every AOSP cusrom and every phone — that ****ty app shots photo only in 2.8 mp for main and ultra-wide camera for Alioth (on other phones it can change). And because of that, we can't take normal dosument scan in Google Drive and do photo notes in Google Keep — those apps use Standart camera app, and you can't choose which app you want to use, so, installing a third-party camera app doesn't solve that issue. Please check that crap 🫠

PixelOS has been around for longer period of time. Google flavored AOSP, working camera, active development... That ROM is more promising. Give it a try.

Let there be a Lake camera, but it works extremely poorly. Some modes didn't work, and in addition, there are no Xiaomi video streams in this firmware that could improve electronic stabilization.
Really love your latest build.
Two issues I've detected:
It's losing the saved fingerprint from time to time. At least once a Day. I can't really tell under which conditions. Sometimes after a restart of the phone. Sometimes during the normal use, when you want to unlock the phone.
Second: when headphones are connected via Bluetooth, videos played via tiktok or YouTube don't work fluent, don't give a sound or stop. Disconnecting the headphones everything works fluent.
I made a clean install twice. Nothing changed.
Besides this, everything works great, and really fast!!
