For oreo ? All gcam is not working perfectly , because oreo software got problem with third party camera , u cant focus on anything

Hi there, I been using Pixel experience for quite a long time and they stopped updating and my Gcam is really old version and doesn't updates from play store. How can I update Gcam without changing the ROM or something ?
The camera app on play store is stuck at 8.2 for LOS18.1 ROM while the actual app is at 8.4 (we have LMC 8.4 builds for other phones).
Has anybody who kept the Google stock pixel3xl ROM have 8.4 version of the Camera app? Or is it stuck at 8.2 as well?

What is everyone else on LOS18.1 ROM doing for gcam right now?
I'm 100% stock Android 12 with the latest OTA that came last month. Camera version is 8.4.500.429168112.25
Looks like google did push 12 and the camera updated to Pixel3 after all.

Hello All, please does anyone know how to update the built-in Samsung Camera app?
Yesterday, after doing the latest update (August 2022 security patch) on my S22, I just noticed that the Camera app version installed on my phone is ancient (version 12.0.01.76) compared to the latest version available at APKmirror.com which is version 13.0.00.53.
I already tried to sideload the APK as usual and always ended up with an "app not installed" error message. Please share the tutorial if anyone knows how to update the app without root as I am really tired of the laggy camera on my S22, I still cannot believe that this device is the latest 2022 flagship phone from Samsung because the camera is really slow and laggy.
