Can 2Api camera be enabled on android 9 stock?
Use the app Camera2 Probe on the Play store to see what Camera2 API compatibility is available for the phone. It is still a 32bit OS so none of the recent Google Camera ports will work.

I have been closely following Google Camera Port made out to OnePlus 3t : https://www.xda-developers.com/google-camera-updated-zero-shutter-lag-xiaomi/ . Today when finally I get to root my device, I changed the build prop to include persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1 . But the camera still doesn't seems to work? Have lenovo incorporated Camera2 API or HAL3 in their stock ROM, if they have not is there a way to mod the stock rom to support it?

camera2api disabled by default .
we need root to enable it.wait for twrp to release.
there is another method (not sure if work).i will try and report when i get this device.
