Hola.

Hi. Have you followed the steps in the main post to flash via TWRP or fastboot?
To enter into recovery, you must shut on your phone by pressing volume + and power button at the same time.
(Remember that you can only speak English here, XDA rules).

Of course, first I tried an unofficial Chinese TWRP, which although it worked, it did not let me interact with the system partition and I wanted to change to this one. It flashes but does not start.
Then I tried from Flashify and from the TWRP app. Same result.
Then from the PC via fastboot, first from the Xiaomi ADB Fastboot Tool and then from CMD, with and without vbmeta.img. Same result.
In fact, I tried other versions and the same ...
It's strange, I have never had problems with flashing TWRP on Xiaomi, what's more, I have a YouTube channel where I show the processes in many of them and I wanted to make a video of this PichBlack for the K30.

Then it's very weird... No one has reported that the recovery is not booting on their picasso.
Did you flashed that modified vbmeta image by PeterCxy for his LineageOS recovery? (If you flashed it, then flash the original one)
Either that or your outdated vendor base would be the reason why it's not booting for you.

I don't know, man, this has never happened to me and I've been using modified recovery since CMW 3. The only thing I have not tried yet is to install the original Miui recovery and try again with the modified recovery.

Consider upgrading to a newer MiUI version (like latest 11 or 12 version) via LRTWRP.
Then PBRP should boot.

Dear Masemoel:
Appreciate your contribution to such a nice work. I have noticed that you are working on another unofficial TWRP, and it also works great. Do you consider to add it in this thread or creat another thread? Cuz i think both recoveries are very cool custom recoveries and ppl are very willing to use them.

Hello and thanks, Thomas.
The unofficial TWRP is being maintained by Hadenix in GitHub's picasso group right now.
Me I will stay in PBRP as I feel comfortable, safe, and has a lot of features with a nice UI ?
I once built TWRP to ensure that the device tree I did was working as it should, and also to see if an issue in PBRP was happening in TWRP as well.
https://github.com/Redmi-K30-5G/device_xiaomi_picasso_recovery/releases/tag/TWRP
But I won't build it anymore for now, PBRP works flawlessly + there is already another dev compiling and improving it.

Thanks man, I had to do that to make PBRP work in the end :highfive:
One more doubt, I installed the CrDdroid port ROM that I found in your repository and I am not able to root. I have tried Magisk 20.1, 20.2, 20.3 and 20.4 (including the canary version), but when flashing the ROM it does not start. Is there any way to get Magisk to work on this unofficial CrDroid?

I could root it when I was using crDroid (I assume you're using my build from my personal git account...)
Remember the steps to flash a ROM: Flash ROM, Magisk, GApps, format data and then reboot to system (otherwise you will have bootloop due to forced-encryption problems).
Just use Magisk ZIPs from here (official releases): https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases or in PBRP tools...
If you format data after flash a ROM, you have to install Magisk Manager (see the above link as well) and, when you install that apk, then you'll have root access

I already did the steps you mention, but the result is the same, the ROM does not start. It only starts when uninstalling magisk.
In fact, CrDroid itself tries to install the Magisk addon and it doesn't succeed (I attach images), try Magisk 20.4 and 20.1 from the official website.
Could you pass me the AICP that you are using? I want AOSP with root ...

You are flashing Magisk and then flashing crDroid????
Wipe everything (data, cache and dalvik)
Reboot to recovery
Flash crDroid
Flash Magisk
Flash GApps (obviously this is optional)
Wipe data and dalvik again
Reboot
I don't know what's that Magisk addon.d ... But it might be causing the bootloop.
Also ensure that you're using the latest PBRP release for Android 10 and that you are not mounting any partition other than data and cache.
Use the zip from the GitHub's Magisk releases pages I sent you...

Ok I got it... You are flashing the forcing encryption disabler... Then you have to flash Magisk 20.3 only, and later you can upgrade if you want...
Flash it after crDroid as well
EDIT: You can look at my AICP build either in the Telegram group mentioned in the OP, or by looking at Redmi-30-5G GitHub.

You can not flash recovery, instead you have to boot it remotely.
Download twrp-deen.5.img to your PC (I think 5 is the latest version):
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603890360
connect phone to USB, open platform tools, boot phone to fastboot mode
and boot into recovery:
fastboot boot "C:\your_path_to\twrp_deen-5.img"
Do i have to wipe USB-OTG in first step too?
Thank you!

Remember
-installed latest drivers
-added fastboot dir to path
-ensured devtools and usb debugging enabled on phone
-run fastboot's terminal/command prompt window as elevated admin user

this ROM is perfect, why would someone try something else? its hard to think on any advantage over it.
Hi there!
Newbie here, so forgive me not having read all the manuals and the whole web so I will forgive you not having all the answers to my questions
Is there a more recent version of LineageOS for the Motorola One XT1941-4 (deen) than this one above? Where do I get it?
Where would I go first to learn how to develop a custom build and/or try to adapt the most recent Lineage to my device?
Regarding to the Custom Build in the initial post above, the steps to install it with success are not very specific for this device. I will make a better step by step instruction shortly. The Moto One is *****y about the bootloader and doesn't accept oem commands or so it seems.
I search for a Motorola device that gets official Lineage and official RevengeOS support. Any advice is appreciated.
What does this blankflash utility exactly do and who is it from? What does it do different than fastboot commands?
Lineage OS 18.1 what Is?
Hi, I want to buy a Motorola One, but in one shop it has android 8 and another one says it has android 8.1.
Here I found the official LineageOS version: https://www.getdroidtips.com/lineage-os-17-1-motorola-one/,
but it says it is based on Android10Q. Would this be a problem?
Link is broken

Sure, but I couldn't open the site.
Now it's working as should.
This would be awesome if, like lineage 17.1, it didn't have google services or apps installed. Is there any way to get a version of this without the google spyware? Thanks.

Thanks I didn't flash the gapps... I might struggle a bit sometimes... but I'm not THAT stupid lol.
I'm having a real headache with installing this... I've followed the instructions and tried over and over about 10 times now, with slightly differeent variations... but so far I haven't gotten anywhere.
The closest I got was... after installing and getting stuck in a boot loop... I flashed stock OOS to both slots A & B and then when I rebooted... to my surprise... I got the kali nethunter boot logo... it booted, had the kali wall paper... but also had google apps installed and no kali nethunter app... so that made me think that this version had the google apps... but now I realise it was more likely a case that something strange happened where i got half of this rom and half of the stock OOS rom. Never had that happen before.
Following the instructions... this is what I've tried so far...
Boot loader already unlocked
Booted into up to date TWRP
Flashed OOS10 in Both Slots A/B
Flash the lineage-kek-17.1.zip
Rebooted to TWRP for slot change (flashed lineage-kek-17.1.zip again so now flashed in both A and B slots) - also tried same steps again but only flashing to one slot... neither option worked.
didn't install GApps.
Was only coming from stock OSS ROM but tried same steps once formating the data and another time not - neither worked.
Flashed the Nethunter kernel.zip
Flash latest Magisk and wiped delvik cache afterwards.
Rebooted... stuck in boot loop.
Cannot get any further.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I've repeated this process over and over and can't seem to get anything to work.
Thank you if anyone can help. I would really love to get this working as when I installed a different ROM and nethunter over the top... everything worked except HID interface wasn't recognised and I've been trying everything to fix that... and I was hoping this ROM might enable me to install nethunter with HID working. Thanks again.

Why flashing ROM & Nethunter in both slots? it is not required, Keep it in your ROM zip slot and make sure when you are flashing Kernel you are in same Slot that will boot up Linegae. And clearing Cache / dalvick is must to boot up after magisk...
I can give you a tip,
First just flash Lineage and reboot to recovery and boot up setup..
Then back to recovery and flash kernel & magisk then clear Dalvick/cache reboot...
All should be set
This A/B slot makes me confused a lot of times but now i learnt it.. you may learn soon

Great work!!
The error that mentions that it appears seems to me that it is a thing of the fstab (E:unable to update logical partition: /system_image) it may also be that the gsi that were tested were in RO Just what I think, I'm new enough to Samsung to really know
or try to use, but my device goes to Download mode and says vbmeta is missing, any solution?

Sure but this recovery is specifically for Android R aka android 11 if you device was at android 10 by default i.e. it was shipped with Android 10 and has not been updated to android 11, then it might be the cause. Just update to latest android version and all these issue will go away
U can download one ui 3 from here.
Select the region and it'll show all the one ui roms available, if one ui 3 is not available in your region then change the region, like to Russia.

Make sure you are on ONEUI 3 /Android 11 /Android R. And flash a null vbmeta to get it to boot.

That error message shows because system is a logical partition and logical partitions are supposed to be read only but in order to add support for direct gsi flashing, system image has been mounted as rw which causes the error to be displayed.
I had to choose between removing the error or the direct GSI support, and I ended up choosing the latter.

Does the tree says anywhere that the builds will only be for Android 10???
It only mentions that the build system was based on Android 10 not for only Android 10.
Great job thank you

Yillié said:

For the R11.0 build it can be flashed directlyno need for any Addons or anything of that sort. Tho if you wanna flash Gapps right after the gsi without booting even once , try checking out the system_resizer.zip on my sourceforge account.

Thanks for all the hard work and a nice ROM. Few noob questions
1: Coming from crDroid 713, do we need to install Gapps 12 or no?
2: If recovery decryption does not work how will be able to install future updates etc, or will need to factory reset no matter what?
Thanks

Well since it's Android 12 you can't just update, it's like flashing a completely different rom, i guess
So follow the step described for "first time installation", just skip step 1 because you already have twrp installed
as for me: i'll wait for a twrp which can decrypt internal storage, if ever

Do you mean voice match? Which gapps?
i used flamegapps, in older version "ok/hey google" didn't work, with latest versions (since december, i guess) it started working.
You have to flash separate google search add-on

It won't boot with flame or Nik Gapps , except bittgaps. Even that was glitchy. But can I flash the Gapps now on already running system and which one. How to flash the google search add-on?
I am not rooted.
Thanks in advance

My apologize, i just realized that we're in crDroid 8 thread (A12), i'm still with crDroid 7 (A11), so forget about my post. i can't help you here sorry
Hi guys!
Tomorrow I will be able to unlock the bootloader. I would like to know if I have to be in a specific firmware
I'm on Miui 13.0.2, stable beta, and the truth is that this version sucks. I was thinking of going back to version 12.5.8 or installing xiaomi.eu
I'm also interested in CrDroid, but the previous question. Do I have to have any specific firmware?

Is necessary run `multidisabler' for upgrade twrp?
if I want to flash a GSI, which partition do I flash it to?
Tested upgrade from 3.5.0
Flash img and runing perfectly
After flashing TWRP, after I reboot my system. I cannot access twrp again.

Farhan Javed

Nope, that's a one time process after flashing stock unless you reflash super.

You mean after flashing twrp and rebooting system it gets replaced by stock recovery?
If yes, then you need to delete recovery-from-boot.p file from /system (/system_root/system/ in twrp) before rebooting.
Multidisabler does that itself but well if you don't want to use that you can delete the above mentioned file.

or can I install this recovery without wipe all phone data?
I'll give a try in a few hour. Could you just confirm I don't need to wipe all data for updating ? @hacker812c as a tester, can you tell me ?
Anyway, good job @Yillié !
And thank you all for your replies ;-)

Vou tentar em algumas horas. Você poderia apenas confirmar que não preciso limpar todos os dados para atualização? @hacker812c como testador, você pode me dizer?
De qualquer forma, bom trabalho @Yillié!

Thank you for your answer my friend.
Note: TWRP 3.6.1 build does indeed boot on the latest Android S / Oneui4.1 firmware. I didn't get the time to check every single thing but it does boot and basic functions like flashing wiping etc work without issues.
@Yillié on the twrp screen we click on terminal and after type rt multidisabler not execute? There is no need to install multidisabler ourselves?

You don't need to flash the multidisabler zip if you typed multidisabler --all as that's basically the same as flashing the zip.
I don't understand what you mean to refer to by:
"rt multidisabler not execute".
