Joyui 12 update messed up everything - Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Questions & Answers

So I have never been able to switch my phone from the Chinese to the Global Rom. (If ANYONE has a video tutorial I would love it)
I did get my apps to work by installing google services framework and turning off the battery saver for it (fixed whatsapp and snapchat)
However since the joy ui 12 update yesterday I am back to my whatsapp and snapchat not staying connected even with the google services on.
Does anyone have a fix for this. Or has the patience to run a step by step to flash to the global rom.
I noticed my miunlock status says that the device is locked and the phone is secure but i cant get to unlock it since it needs a chinese phone number to sign up to my mi account .
ANY help whatsoever will be appreciated.

Have you tried to flash the version I indicated to you using complete provided flash sequence?
Are you bootloader unlocked?

Have you tried any Moto FRP unlock solution?
Don't you have the needed password?

What ROM did you install, instead of AMX
@bsforte @rdkai @enetec
I'm also looking for a solution to bypass FRP due to unable to remember or recover forgotten password.
Were you able to bypass FRP on Moto Z2 Force "NASH" ? @enetec Why is firmware not the solution for FRP bypass?
How is this FRP implemented persistently, is it a file on the internal flash disk, which, if the file exists, the rom code then prompts the user to login to g account?
anyone solved the FRP removal on z2 force?

Basically, it's free of the carrier dependencies shu as some applications that you can't uninstall, another one and maybe the most troublesome for some of us is that when Motorola makes a new FW release we need to wait until the carrier gives the ok and that takes much time for Telcel

Bricked my RN5 (WHYRED)

-
Please, How can I resurrect my Redmi Note 5 (Whyred)? A month ago I flashed MIUI 9.5 and my RN5 had brick
The reason you bricked your phone is because you switched between xiaomi roms without knowing the firmware version of the respective roms. Meaning you've probably tried going back from V.4 to V.3.
There is an article summarizing everything about your particular problem. Long story short, here is what you can do:
1. You need an autherized xiaomi account (search on 4pda(some russian forum) or here for autherized accounts). They need a special autherization, so an account with the permission of unlocking a bootloader IS NOT ENOUGH!
2. Go to a xiaomi store. If you've bricked your device because of that it should get replaced because of warranty. According to your first statement, describing how you struggle with EDL mode, you have to watch out for some in spain.
3. Send it back from where you've bought it. For example you can buy the redmi note 5 pro on amazon with 24 months of warranty. The problem you have is a perfect example why you need some sort of warranty.
GL HF
I faced exactly the same issue as yours. Try this method. It helped me to unbrick my RN5.

Firmware downgrade MRX-W09

Hello, ive just bought the Huawei Matepad Pro (MRX-W09) and im trying for almost two weeks to get a firmware to get GSM working on my device. Unfortunately i cant download any older firmware anywhere and after looking for solutions ive stumbled upon people telling me that the firmware servers are closed or being moved.
Does any of you have a firmware version on which GSM works? As far as i know it should be 10.0.1.150 or older (April 2020).

I had this problem myself a while ago. The bootloader is blocked and the rom does not flash to solve it, I had to send it to Motorola and pay for the motherboard replacement.

Hello,
I've actually downgraded my old Moto One Action from PE 12 to stock Android 11, successfully. I think the security patch might have been downgraded, as well. I don't remember. The only thing I had to watch out for was that OEM Unlocking option (needs to be ON). Otherwise, everything went ok. I'm now on Android 11, with bootloader locked, and everything working fine.
HOWEVER, I would not recommend doing this with the G60 now. I just don't feel comfortable enough recommending this to people. You can try, if you want. But it's not something I would vouch for, or something I tested and can confirm myself.
So, in THEORY, it should work. In practice...I don't know. But I wouldn't recommend trying it. Seems like the bootloader reacts in a different way for some reason. Could be a bug, could be something else. I don't know. But until that option is ON, I would not even consider attempting to lock the bootloader, after a downgrade.
And of course, don't do that on a custom ROM!
arsradu said:
Eu não me lembro.

Patrick972 said:
I had upgraded to 12 by the device update itself, but I didn't like it. I felt that the performance of the device was affected, it became slow and bad. I unlocked the bootloader, went back to 11, rooted it, solved the safety net issue, and implemented a magisk module for performance. So far nothing to complain about and I'm not necessarily interested in locking the bootloader, at least not right now because of the error that occurs when locking it. I would like to know if I can somehow remove the bootloader unlock message on Moto G60.

I would recommend posting in English, so we can understand each other.
If everyone would post in their native language, it would be very hard to understand each other. It would be chaos in here. That's why, we need to post in English in open forums.
As for your issue, I know there was a way to do what you want, on other devices. Basically, you need a custom logo.bin, that needs to be flashed on top of your current ROM. But I'm not sure how to do it myself, and I haven't found one for Motorola G60.

Usually this is done by altering logo.bin (sorry, I said logo.img by mistake in my posts above; should be logo.bin). But the idea is the same. So that's should be the focus of our search.

So I tried the tool. But I couldn't get it to do what we want. I think there's something else we need to change before getting rid of that completely. I replaced the images, and even removed them, too, but....I still got a "text only" version of that warning. ) Don't know where it's taking it from. But I think there might be more work to do to fix this.
You can try it, if you want. Just make sure you keep a copy of your original logo.bin so you can flash it back.
I think it has a failsafe, or a backup or something, to display when the original logo can't be used.

With me it was the same, after changing the images I returned the warning of unlocked bootloader but only with the text. Honestly the moto g60 is a great value for money, but the way its system behaves is very unexpected compared to others hahaha

The thing is that the first one requires you to unlock the bootloader to install the old firmware. I'm not very familiar with this stuff, I just upgraded to Android 12 and fount out that it was a mess so im tryng to downgrade again, but as none of these have actual evidence to justify that this actually works, I am not willing to try it out before I inquire more about this subject.

Hello,
Both require unlocking the bootloader. Thing is, when you request an unlock code, your warranty is automatically void, regardless if you actually use that code or not. So...if you don't really, really need to downgrade, you should probably not downgrade.
It's not a matter of "is it possible". It's a matter "is it worth it".
Hi I am Aryan and i also tried many roms and many android version to change android version, upgrade or downgrade your device the most common method is by flashing a custom rom supported for your device there are many Custom roms developed by many developers (For ex : Lineage os,Pixel Experience,Nusantara,Crdroid, etc) by a Custom recovery (For ex : TWRP,OFRP,PBRP,etc) according to your need

Step 1 Download and install RSA or LMSA tool in PC
Step 2 Put device into bootloader mode and connect to PC, RSA tool will automatically detect device and suggest you to download correct firmware for your device.
Step 3 After downloading firmware, click on START rescue
Step 4 Enjoy stock rom

Just one thing I wanted to add.
If you're trying to go back to stock ROM after flashing a custom ROM...which is probably the case for most of the users reading this, LMSA might not automatically detect the device. So...you'll have to attempt to do it by entering the IMEI. So my advice would be having the IMEI close by in case you need it.
im getting android corrupt try again ,factory reset option. i already reset it but it goes back to try again. used LMSA with imei
EDIT: Fixed tried fastboot -w then fastboot earse userdata , rebooted works fine

Yes, you can.

you're welcome. I was afraid to try this after reading so many horror stories about locking the bootloader on this phone. But then I decided to give it a try anyway. And it was ok.
Just have to do it carefully. Use LMSA to Rescue (reflash stock ROM) the device. Make sure you can boot BEFORE locking the bootloader. And, optionally, you can also do an extra wipe data from Recovery (this way, you can also make sure you're using the STOCK recovery). After that, you can go ahead and lock the bootloader using command:
fastboot oem lock
That's it. Good luck!
arsradu said:
Boa sorte!

haha! Exactly that was my fear too. That's why you must have seen several questions in different threads . The fear was present, but reading other responses and especially yours, encouraged more to do the procedure. Now everything is working perfectly. Custom ROMs are great, but I use NFC a lot for payments and Netflix for example, which don't work on bootloaders unlocked (Here's a tip for anyone installing Custom ROMS). Thanks again!

The NFC payments is one of the reasons I switched back to stock. For NFC payments, the problem might actually be on the ROM itself... I'm still trying to figure this out myself. But yes, Netflix wants a locked bootloader... I'm not sure there's a workaround for that. But NFC payments do generally work with custom ROMs. They just don't work with the current ROMs we have for G60.
Maybe...maybe one they, this will also be fixed.
arsradu said:

What good news! I believe that when the NFC payment works, I will go back to the Custom ROM. That would already be a good reason to go back to Custom. Netflix can wait , I don't really care.
