Not meaning to doubt you, but you definitely downloaded correct update - one is for .27 and one is for . 47
Also, did you varify the sha/md5 number under either download to check its not corrupt

I think Link 2 for .47 to .49 is actually .27 to .49 as the description in the download says that it is not for .47

I have downloaded the latest .49 this morning and didn't reboot the phone. For some reason I had to restart the phone later. But I got a message, system configuration was changed to older version. But when I check the change log, there's no content in there but the latest update shows .49 as updated. I assume it didn't completely update the software.
I wanted to download the 2007.27 update from support and update it to latest .49 that way but system isn't detecting the OS I downloaded. Can someone help me get the system updated to latest

To go back to .27 you probably need to download and flash the raw file from that thread. Not sure if downgrading wipes your data tho. From there, update to .49

Doesn't make much sense!

I am rooted with Magisk and currently on the July WW rom, with VoLTE hack applied through MBN patching.
If I update using the full rom, do I need to reapply the VoLTE hack?

Do you know if the full rom also "unroot" my Magisk installation? i.e. change back boot.img back to stock? (I actually don't mind it cause I'd like to get back to widevine L1 anyways and VoLTE is less important).

Be more specific with your post. We can't guess the correct version of your ROM because it is not specified. Next time better be more specific with it so that people here will not ask questions that they themselves can answer. And the reason why I'm asking for the stock boot is because I accidentally flash a costumed kernel without even backing up the stock one. I can't go back to lollipop and flash the update again hahahahah OTA's doesn't provide DOWNGRADES. C'mon men.

Yes but when you update its gonna show lower version and thats not a issue just update.... Try downloading the file again and dont open it with WinRAR as it tends to disrupt the file... Just place it in the SD Card and update irrespective of errors and once its done and you get any error on boot just eject the sd card and boot and it will boot trust me.... I am using the same with ota of 6.0.1

You can't downgrade your Android version unless you're s-off and know what you're doing. You're attempting to restore kitkat and your Android version is lollipop. It won't work.

3) Now switch off phone & press vol up + vol down + power button.
4) update will start automatically.

7) Done.
Step 2
1) remove all files from dload folder.
2) Now download update_data_full_BLN-L22_channel_in.zip for Honor 6X from above and extract it.
3) Copy all data including update.app file from above in the dload folder.
4) repeat process like step 1 - (3 to 7)
Hey, whats up? I am Vivek from Gujarat. I bought my 6x like a month back and still haven't got any kinda update yet. Been waiting damn patiently! I wanted to try the firmware finder method but read that a lot of users are having multiple problems with battery and volte after flashing it. I even contacted the EMUI page in facebook and their admin replied me saying that the updates are pushed in small batches n stuffs. But how long am I supposed to wait like this?
Then I found this post which was posted just yesterday and it really did got my attention. So now buddy, I am gonna ask the obvious question! Is this B320 a genuine n stable release? I can take risk with anything but not with volte cause Jio is my primary number.
If it is, then I will flash it right away and enjoy the new nougat experience. I have downloaded both of your files. Will wait for your reply before going further.
Thank you!
yes you can proceed , I did it to just yester day....
Screenshots below:
Email Me : [email protected]
Dont go for naugat update.
My observations........
Failed in multitasking
Sometime lagging
most of time Camera app very slow to open
Sometime hang problem
# it does not looks stable version
# Jio is working fine
# I am thinking to go back to Marshmallow if somebody can help me.
No i dont see any kind of bugs in the #build b320

Sure! Thanks for the confirmation buddy. So am I supposed to take any kinda backup before this or it just updates everything without any data being lost? Btw, I am on B132 now. All I need to do is flash those 2 files by the given method right?
I can sacrifice anything but not Volte. Jio is my primary number and cant afford to take any kinda risk with it you know.

Everybody knows this is not official released ROM. Honor is still working on it. How we can say this is stable rom.
It is good if it is working fine on some handsets. It depends how they use their phone.

I see! Okay buddy. I guess I will wait a bit more then. I am tired of checking the updater every single day in hope to get the latest update but it just never shows up. The people who have gone through the firmware finder method are regretting their decision now. I really dunno what to do!
B310 was a stable release according to some users. And this one B320 has to be some kinda security patch! Let me think about this again. Thanks anyway! :good:

It's alright man! I am glad to know that its working fine for you. I usually play around with ROMs but some releases mess up the phone like anything. It's barely been a month since I got my new 6X and I didnt wanted to take any kinda risk with it you know. I guess I will wait for some more time for the official OTA and then decide where to flash this or the next stable release!
Thanks anyway.

Really? Shocked to hear that. Well I am on B132 right now. Checked the updater today too and no luck. I am sick of waiting now. Haha!
So can I flash B320 directly from B132 using this method? You did told me to take a backup of contacts n apps but what about data bro? Thats the most important thing to ask. Am I supposed to take a complete backup? Does this erases everything while flashing or just upgrades?
No it only upgrades...checkout this thread :https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6x/how-to/honor-6x-june-2k17bln-l22-t3618396

I've read people suggesting flashing if via the Updater app. Does it work?
And don't have the telegram group but have they talked about any issues at all with the beta 8.1? I read one in the MIUI forums say that Auto Brightness causes screen burn ins but no clarification has been done yet.

And don't have the telegram group but have they talked about any issues at all with the beta 8.1? I read one in the MIUI forums say that Auto Brightness causes screen burn ins but no clarification has been done yet.

okay i flashed it through TWRP without flashing lazyflasher and it boots! takes a long time to boot but wait it out, adaptive brightness definitely works also so we're safe on that front

Thanks man. I'm skeptical about flashing through the updater app since I have the China Alpha and this is Global beta. Might as well go the TWRP route to be sure.

okay strangely enough the android debugging logo still is a jellybean... but android version says android 8.1, so they might have to update that still, dont worry about that

Glad to hear you successfully flashed it.
Please elaborate about formatting your data, do you mean simple wipe of data or format of data (full internal storage)?
P. S What recovery are you using?

Guide: how to update your LG V30+ (H930DS) to Android 9 Pie (BETA! NOT FULL VERSION)

I'm making this thread for those like me, desperate for Pie on our beloved LG V30 (V30+ in this case). Personally I wanted to see if updating to Pie would fix that very annoying GCam issue I've been having (selfie green tint). Spoiler alert: it did not fix anything. Oh well. If you want to try Pie beta on your V30+ for some other reason, here's my guide.
Five things to note before we get started:
1. I wouldn't try this on devices other than H930DS. You've been warned.
2. You cannot go back to previous Oreo firmware if you do this.
3. You must lock your bootloader before you attempt this upgrade (if you unlocked it)
4. Must be on THIS firmware otherwise the operation will not work.
5. In Android Pie Beta for the V30, there are some languages missing in the settings. English is there though.
Now that that's out of the way, let's do this.
Step 1: downloads
Download Pie beta OTA for the H930DS
The file is 1.8 GB.
Download these necessary files (LGUP & drivers) here
Step 2: Preparation
Once you downloaded the zip (thanks to @PilyTam by the way), extract the files to a location of your choice.
Then, install LGMobileDriver_WHQL_Ver_4.2.0.exe, LGUP_Common_DLL_Ver_1_0_28_5.msi , and LGUP_Store_Frame_Ver_1_14_3.msi
The only file that you haven't touched yet is another zip - LGUP V30DLL_PATCHED.zip . Extract the files to where LGUP is installed. By default it will be in C:\Program Files\LG Electronics\LGUP . Replace the files when prompted.
Step 3: Proceeding with the update
Make sure your device has "USB Debugging" enabled in the settings. You can find this option in developer settings.
To enable developer settings:
Go to settings > general > about phone > software info
Now tap "build number" until you see the "you are a developer" message.
Connect your V30 to your PC.
Launch LGUP.
Choose FOTA Upgrade

}
In file path, click on the three dots and find the OTA update - H930DS-V22j-HKG-to-H930DS-V29g-HKG.up
And finally, click Start.
It will appear to be stuck at 4% for some time with the message saying "Flash package" (at least that's what happened to me), but don't panic, just let it do its thing. When the LGUP program says the operation has succeeded, you still have to wait for your V30 to actually apply the update. It will say "FOTA EASY UPDATE" in big blue letters on your screen. And it will take some time to apply the update.
Thanks for reading and good luck everyone. I hope my guide was clear enough. If you need any help I'll do my best to assist you.

General 11.2.6.6 NA Rolling Out

I got the NA build for 11.2.6.6 this morning. Installed and rooted without issue via the normal restore image, update, install active/inactive method.

It was released some days ago and started with IN region, below is the changelog

There are various reasons which should not be discussed here but let me just say no 5G in India yet definitely plays a role as the builds don’t have to be certified separately with carriers if that makes sense.
Appropriately, NA = Not Available!
avid_droid said:
What does that even mean? NA? NORTH AMERICAN? Sorry to burst your bubble but try to be specific with a model or region number/code. There is no NA model in OnePlus.

NA stands for the Global devices (LE2125) with build tag LE15AA sold outside the below regions.
LE2123: EU is the European Version (Build Tag BA)
LE2121: IN is the India Version (Build Tag DA, generally the first to receive the update)
Chinese units (LE2120) run ColourOS out of the box.
LE2127 units are T-Mobile units running LE5ACB builds and will be the last to receive the update.
Hope this clarifies all the confusion
Could someone grab the package before it gets deleted from their phone?

I am sure you probably had an idea anyway. NA is also the common reference used by OnePlus as well.
Don't worry, my bubble is ok.

I go into magisk and choose the uninstall/restore images option.
Let system update download and install. Once it's done, I do not reboot.
I go into magisk and install to both the active and inactive slots (this works because until you reboot, you're still loaded into the OS with root).
Reboot
Hope it helps

Yeah that's still stupid because if referenced as NA the LE2127 should also be referenced the same as it is a NA model also. It's just dumb in my opinion

Your opinion is fine and valid, you just don't need to take it out on me is all. I forgive you.

After this update, i noted no real changes on the connectivity, still low signal, still some lags and stutter when scrolling, the camera i don't know i don't use it that much, and also still got the dead spot on touch near at the bottom ledt corner or right where the enter and the ?123buttons are on keyboard, some times i need to push 3 or 4 times for it to work, on the keyboard or even to launch an app or when using an app
BA-Version is now offered via Oxygen updater

U mean to install incremental update or full zip update?
As far as I know if my phone is rooted I need to install full zip update, otherwise I can screw up.
