If you like miui i recommend miui eu version 11. It's stable, has no ads, and of course has miui dialer with native call recording. Miui 12 is not yet mature enough so skip it for now.

I want Xiaomi phone and messenger apps back. The phone (note 9 pro 6/128) was bought in EU and is used here and it came with miui global 11 and is now updraged to miui global 12 but it has google phone and messenger on it.

Miui 11 global on my old phone Note 5 has xiaomi dialer, but when I bought Note 9 pro it had miui 11 global, but with google dialer. The more I read the less I understand. And nothing makes sense anymore.

I've installed this .apk but it keeps crashing! On miui 12.0.2. Any idea why? Also, when I'm in a conversation , on google dialer, I can't switch from phone to speaker or bluetooth, because after I switch I can't hear anything

Yes... I've tried custom ROMs of whyred which supports native video calling... CORVUS 7.0 OR 7.5 OMEN both editions...
Native video calling is supported even on stock rom but it is carrier dependent... in my country (Romania) there's a fee for using/ activating this service.

I have a European mi9 rom and it worked until I updated to version 11.0.7. with the previous rom the animation worked every time I opened the case of the Mi air 2.

I went to official xiaomi store in russia and checked this earphones with every fcking device, even cheapest redmi, and animation works perfect. Except of Mi9SE.
WTF wrong with it?
So I think that it might be due to mi9se being one of the devices that got the update very early on and might lack this feature until it gets updated to Android 10 but that's just a guess.
Hi, with rom xiaomi.eu 11.0.2 (Android 10 stable) the animation still doesn't work.

I have a Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro with global stock rom installed on it and 2 pairs of Mi AirDots Pro 2. The first pair i got showed me the pop-up on my phone while i was on Miui 11.0.1.0 but right after i updated to 11.0.4.0 the animation stopped working. Now i got a new pair of airdots pro 2 for my sister and i wanted to test if the pop up works with these but no, still nothing. However, i tested both pairs with my wife's Mi 9t on miui 11.0.5.0 and for some reason my airdots only pop up every once in a while but my sister's are popping up every time.
I noticed that the Mi 9T has a feature under the bluetooth settings called Connect to compatible devices but my K20 Pro doesn't have it which is weird and i was thinking maybe this is why no pop-up works on my phone. Does anyone have a k20 pro with global rom 11.0.5.0 that can confirm if that feature is being added back with that update?
Does anyone else have any experience similar to mine and found a solution?

Same here, running with a mI9SE MIUI 12 20.6.11 by MIUI.EU.
Even others features like infrared wont work.

While I still can't get pop up to work, infrared works just fine on global, so that's probably MIUI.EU rom issue.

I cannot activate Ok Google due to subject message.
I didn't have such issue in my previous devices. And I setup as I did for my Previous phones.
My device language is US English and Google App Language is also US English.
Please help to fix this.

I am curious if this really affects all RN8 devices or just some? My RN8 also has the same problem, but if anyone has a RN8 (ginkgo ) which has the google voice match feature working, it would be great if you can add a comment so we know if there are some devices which are not affected?
Same problem in France on the redmi note 8 global. Very disabling when you are used to using the function while driving.
I did some few tests in my redmi note 8
I went back to an older version of google assistant I think it was 6.6.20 the 'OK google' feature was disabled but I didn't see the message "This feature is currently unavailable for this language" instead I saw " this feature is not compatible with your device" maybe that's the issue.
the other test I think every one can do it go the google assistant setting and stop in the screen when you see the OK google option that is disabled go to the setting and change the language (I changed it from eng UK to eng US) right after changing it go back to the last screen of google assistant config where you saw that OK google feature is disabled you will find it activated or you will be able to enable it but after a while I think 10 sec it goes disabled and cannot be enabled again I realy don't know what happeded in the background like it checks something and then it disable itself.

Yes I agree. I've tried the pixel experience and the POSP and the global miui and the stock miui including the Chinese version 11.0.4 and get the same issue on all these. I also suspect it's something in the phone. So if there is anyone out there with RN8 where ok Google works, it would be great if you can post here to say it works (nice if the reporter of this issue can add this request to the first post so everyone can see it?)

But is it? It doesn't work with any ROM I have tried and it's not happening on all devices. I have chatted with folks where the feature works just fine. It's not isolated to any firmware, ROM, or country.

That is what is so crazy about this. Some folks have no issues. I have spoken with folks over on Telegram with exact same model phone, firmware, ROM, and kernel. There's are working just fine. The Mi and Google forums are littered with many users experiencing this issue.

Folks are reporting same issue over on Telegram. Someone mentioned that it should be working on AOSP but I cannot confirm.
I confirm the same problem on the redmi note 8, while on the redmi note8T variant it works very well, does it work safe with the aosp rom? I tried various roms among the latest pixel experiences with android 10 but the problem remains and this bug is really bothering me
I can confirm the exact same issue in Canada on my RM8 global. I tried every tutorial on the internet to try and resolve it but no success. After seeing so many others with the issue, it's obvious it is a Xiaomi issue that needs to be addressed and fixed. Disappointing for an otherwise amazing phone.

Global version of this phone (as well as Poco F2 Pro or Mi Note 10 lite) comes with Google Discover as -1 page in MIUI Launcher instead of AppVault. It's impossible to find this specific version of MIUI Launcher online as apk.
Please, can anyone extract it/port the launcher so more people can use it? It'd be great!

Sorry, but I think I made myself clear. Anyway, I'd like Google Discover instead of AppVault. I don't own Mi 10 so I only get AppVault. Newer phones from Xiaomi are coming with Google Discover, though. I'd be great if someone could port this Mi 10 Launcher with Google Discover for other devices.

Missing this 2 important features:
Block Call from unknown numbers
Automatically Record All Calls.
Not sure where are manual call recordings saved in mobile
You need to flash Indonesian firmware to get miui dialer to record call's automatic

Apparently cannot record calls automatically..
Do i need to unlock bootloader for indonesian firmware ?
Can you send direct link to indonesian firmware ?
Can you also guide me which is right forum for my MI NOTE 11 PRO ?

Its for all mobiles, I am looking only for MI NOTE 11 PRO.
Missing 2 important features which are available on MI Note 5 PRO.
1.
Need Auto-Call Recording like Mi Note 5 pro, once enable it records all incoming/outgoing calls and stores the same in filesystem as .mp3 file (very useful)
Now only Manual call recording works, we have to click record button on phone in an ongoing call, most of the times forget to record.
Manual recording files are stored in memory, not in filesytem, 100s of call records will make mobile very slow.
Any third party app which can help me do same?(free or paid)

There is a Screen Recorder option, but it wont capture mobile sounds ?
Example, I am on zoom meeting and wish to record entire meeting in screen rounder with sound.
At present, it only records the video (all activity on screen)
Is there any good alternative to same, where i can record entire mobile screen alongwith sound ?

Yeah you need unlocked bootloader to flash mi firmware

I have same device like you expect ram size 6gb here. I prefer Chinese firmware but since it's not available for Redmi note 11 pro 4g viva. So lets go with Indonesian firmware but global firmware get updated more frequently and will be updated to MIUI 13 android 13 before Indonesian firmware get updated to Android 12
Any guide on removing bloatware.
