My kid is 2.5 years old and a few times uses my phone to play games or listen to rhymes. Sometimes , he tries to long press any random icon and click on the buttons that comes up. With MIUI 12 I can see a new button of uninstall which if clicked uninstall's the app. Is there a way I can disable it?

Sorry for the dump Question...But i am unable to find any Answer....
i have default, launcherpro and ADW launcher with me....
What i am doing is reboot the system.....
is there any other way to do so...please let me know.....

May depend on what ROM your using, i was using one a while back and this method works, now im on OpenDesire Froyo its bringing up the apps as well,,,, then again i dont have an aditional loauncer app now,,,, lol
not sure what is going on but when i try to press the multitasker that came default on my g3 it takes 5+ tries to work sometimes. sometimes i have to go to my homescreen. :/ check out these attachments...

that is while i try. i just got out of the playstore by pressing the task switcher button on the middle left or my on screen keys.
this is after a few tries...
i had to press it A LOT to get it to work. could this be my root doing it? i dont install any ROMs so not that. maybe a rogue app? Help?????
Had this on (stock) Roms as well. Sometimes it works in one try, sometimes it doesn't. Empty recents screen. Try again. Whammo, there's the apps.
Haven't had it on CM12 yet though :good:
This is a common problem in KitKat and it use to happen to me all the time with my LG G3 and other devices. I upgraded to lollipop and now it works flawlessly. Your best bet is it upgrade to either cm12 or stock lollipop or any other lollipop rom.

They're your most used apps.. only way to change is to use different apps.

Thank you. I assumed that's what they were but I wasn't sure. I'm also assuming... If there's no way to edit them, there's also no way to disable that feature huh?

Red Magic 8 Pro users, Does anyone else have this large bulb icon that's stuck at the bottom left part on the lockscreen? I'm not sure what it's related to so I don't know how to remove it. Anybody else having this issue? I hoped the latest software update that came on on Feb 22nd would have fixed it but no luck.

Ooh interesting, well the would make sense if that is the case as I definitely use the Google Home app often. The phones so new I know bugs are par for the course so I'll just wait for the next update. Thanks for the reply!
Is anybody else having issues with the slide left or right to switch apps feature not working on Red Magic 8 pro? I seem to remember it worked for me when I first bought it but at some point it stopped working and hast since. I've been updating regularly and I'm currently on the latest version. (I just noticed that the word application has a typo in the settings )

You're absolutely right. I just switched back to vanilla launcher and confirmed. Vanilla launcher is trrraaaasshh tho. Nova is so much better. I'll deal with it haha
