As I want to root my phone, it's need to be unlock bootloader. I followed the rule of unlocking boot loader. When I tried to mi unlock my device by computer, Its noticed me that " couldn't unlock. Please unlock 168 hours later. And do not add your account in MI again, otherwise you will wait from scratch.''
My question will come from notice,
1. Have any way to unlock the device before 168 hours?
2. Can I I unlock my device by the same MI account ( And do not add your account in MI again, otherwise you will wait from scratch.) ?
3. " And do not add your account in MI again, otherwise you will wait from scratch.'' means?

1. No, when you unlock bootloader for the first time on a device you have to wait for 7 days, especially when the device is new in the market
2.yes
3. After your request for bootloader unlock (i.e when the mi unlock shows 168 hours) do not add you account in the mi unlock status option in developer setting or you'll have to wait for 7 days again.
Even after all this I'm getting couldn't get info error

i tried everything to unlock bootloader on RN5 impossible, there any help here id be so thankful
does your MIUI account has permission to UNLOCK BL ????
you need to sit in CHINA/Singapore / Hongkong to unlock xiaomi phones! (use proxy)
Enable developer option
Goto settings>>additional settings>>developer option and enable OEM Unlock
Now click on Mi Unlock status and login with your MI account
Now reboot into fastboot and connect your mobile to PC/Laptop using USB cable
From your laptop open en.miui.com and login with your mi account (the same account you were using in mobile) after logging to your account
Open en.miui.com/unlock
Click on Unlock now
Download Mi Unlock
Open Mi Unlock software and login with your mi account and click unlock.
Now you have to wait 720 hours before unlocking the bootloader

hi you think if i get a phone replacement i need to wait the 720 hrs.? my camera stopped working on mine i already sent to seller. in case i get a new device replacement will i have to wait for unlock bootloader 720 hrs.?

Sadly yes. You have to wait 720 hours before unlocking the bootloader..
I got a note 5a with the bootloader locked and mi account locked, i tried to hard reset but now he ask me for the mi account wich i don't have, tried to flash with miflash but i need bootloader unlocked wich i don't have too, tried to unlock the bootloader but he told me that i need to add the oem unlock to the mi account, but i can't do that either because i am stuck in the boot menu in the first place.
Alrerady tried the MiAccountUnlock-Tool method, in the program was fine but oncve it boots again he ask me for the mi account
There still hope for me?

Same here. wondering is any way to fix it..
Mi unlock doesn't let me unlock the bootloader, I waited the 168 hours as required but when unlocking Mi unlock says: error 1004 could not unlock! I checked drivers and connected my device again but now Mi unlock says I should wait 168 hours again.
I did not clear cache, I didn't add or delete Mi account.
is there another way to unlock bootloader?
I am sure that Mi unlock will not let me to unlock even if I wait 168 hours for the second time.
it's the third time that i try to unlock my MI 10T LITE bootloader every time it said you should wait for 7 days to unlock it and i wait till the time finish this time i wait for 9 days and when i connect my phone to the PC it's says LOCKED i press the UNLOCK button and my phone restart and get screen says " THIS DEVICE IS LOCKED ENTER YOUR ACCOUNT PASSWORD TO UNLOCK IT " i entered the password and unlocked it but i lost my data and apps and still my bootloader didn't unlocked yet .
Don apply againin developer options again for unlock , every time they reset and you must wait... Only once apply and wait...
Also check version of mi unlock program update , or download other.
hi everyone, I need some advice please, I want to unlock my MI 11 Lite 5g NE bootloader, I add my Mi account in unlock status (account added) put my device in fastboot, connect usb pc (win11) unlock tool cannot unlock device goto settings developer settings, unlock status and add your Mi account . I get this same issue everytime seems like my MI account is erased/deleted once the fine goes to fastboot anyone else had this issue
