Source Side:
The source has been completely rebased, so we're considering this as an initial build after the hiatus.
So no changelog is provided for this release. From next release you'll get a proper changelog.
However, a few important key points to consider:
* Updated to May security patch
* Release version bumped to v6.0
* Builds are signed with private keys.
(This helps improve security and you get to verify if the build is genuine or tampered with.
Furthermore, all apps that detect root will work fine without magisk hide.)
* OTA out of box for hassel-free updates.
A few things to keep in mind:
* Please do not compare v6.0 with v5.0
* Don't complain about missing features.

Thank you for Android R ROM....After Using it almost for past 12 hrs. The rom looks perfect. Quite decent battery backup/performance etc etc...With working magisk...
One thing I noticed is that fast loading animation on any app... Not an issue though...
Overall I'd like to say this is one of the best Android 11 ROM for now...with quite a lot features included in its first build itself....

Using this for a day and it's so cool to have stable android 11 already. No lags so far, getting around 4hrs SOT in medium usage in 3yr old battery, smooth and fast.
Missing pocket detection is sometimes annoying because fp sensor is getting locked.

Fp sensor issue is known will be fixed in next build thanks for the review much appreciated
Hi, first of all, thanks for the rom, android 11 is looking good I just updated from android 10 (msm xtended)
Found two minor issues so far, at least for my phone:
1. Charging report less than 1A and takes long to charge (at all times).
2. Volume for media is kind of low.

Charging speed is completely fine here
Please dont flash any 4.4 kernel on top of 3.18 kernel
For low media volume
Just download kernel auditor
And increase speaker gain
The kernel supports speaker gain

Everything works perfectly fine, except for whatsapp. After verifying your number it keeps loading infinitely. I tried both installing from the playstore and apkmirror, same result.
Did a clean flash, no magisk, no custom kernel. Anyone else having the same issue?
EDIT: Both the latest version from the playstore and apkmirror are broken on Android 11, get version 2.20.201.21
Is there anything special that stands out on this rom ?

Yep, pretty much the same, I have a 2A (2000mAh) 5v charger and it used to reach 1.7-1.9A at times while running android 10 based msm xtended
now it never goes beyond 966mAh
Some random reboots is noted , device didn't boot up till I put it on charge , may be due to my old battery but then battery levels are fine. Tried dirty flashing and wiping cache/dalvik but it remains same.

I have no issue with whatsapp, everything works fine except for gaming, my phone get overheats while playing PUBG or Mobile Legends, then I flash latest ver. Nameless kernel, overheats issue gone but video playback error.
I flashed this rom troght ZUI 3.5 Z2132

Its but obvious you are flashing 4.4 treble kernel on a 3.18 non treble rom this will give rise to many bugs like you have mentioned one above.
3.18 statix kernel is underclocked to save battery and heat less, its not for gaming.

MSM-XR awesome, faasstt app opening, smooothh transitions... Am using this rom as daily driver basis
Although itz v1 but it has many customisation
No charging issue or WhatsApp issue for me...

I want this rom to be the go to for a CLEAN AOSP experience. Ultimate battery, performance and reliability OUT OF THE BOX, that's the goal of the rom. I picked the source that impressed me the most to do add my own layer of optimizations over it, tailor made for our device and it's hardware, more than a bot building the same source for 15 different devices. This rom may not be for those who feel the need to flash nightlies and even weeklies as I will always pick refinement over the addition of features. I can't get it ton download normally. Uses google drive and asks to open in es file explorer but theres not actually a zip file anywhere. Any advice? I'm gonna try use my laptop I guess but I hate using it.

Yeah N.E.A.K. kernel don't show up in about phone, it's a nonissue you can see it in performance settings and cpu apps

5. Flash ROM zip file.

Beanstalk is a Custom ROM derived from CyanogenMod starting during android 4.1(jellybean) or CM10. It has most if not all the features of CyanogenMod but also includes other customizable things such as status and Navy bar colors. If I'm not mistaken it also includes cherry picks from AOSPA, AOKP and Slimbean.

@powerpoint45's rom is completely different. It is a different experience. If you want to see screenshots, you can click on the link in Post 3. Otherwise, I am not sure how to answer your questions. It is a completely different rom.
MAKE SURE to do a NANDROID BACKUP in recovery of Alien Droid just incase you flash this and decide you like alien droid better and want to go back without having to start over.

and i missed you , like the desert miss the rain <3
The rom is totally stable....
It is not draining battery like pixys(2.2)...yeeeaah
The only thing that needs to be improved is the snappiness of the UI..
It takes a second or two when you tap some tab in the settings and I can notice micro lag in transitions
Fingerprint sensor not working!!!....Goodix not fixed?

Pre-requisites:

* Before you are ready to flash this custom ROM, you have to install the latest factory image from October 2021
* Bootloader unlocked
* You have created a backup of your ROM & data
First time installing PixelDust ROM, or coming from another ROM:
YOU MUST HAVE an Android FACTORY IMAGE FLASHED TO BOTH SLOTS BEFORE YOUR FIRST TIME INSTALLING ROM.
1. Flashing stock ROM / unlock bootloader (If applicable):
Follow these instructions: https://developers.google.com/android/images#taimen
Boot the stock ROM.
Don't setup any google account, don't add a screen lock. Just go to Settings > System > Developer options. Enable OEM unlocking.
You need to unlock your bootloader, if not already done.
2. There are now two options for the installation. Either via TWRP or via Sideload (for advanced users).
A. Flashing PixelDust ROM via TWRP:
Download the ROM and both TWRP files (img + zip) (for download links see above).
Boot fastboot mode.
Connect the phone to the Computer with USB cord.
Copy twrp img file to the platform-tools folder or folder that has fastboot in it and rename it twrp.img.
Open a Command Prompt.
At the Command Prompt type and press enter.
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
If requested, swipe to allow modifications.
Tap "Wipe", then tap "Format data" and type yes to continue.
Copy the rom zip and twrp installer zip to your device.
Tap "Install", select the rom zip, tap "Add more Zips", select the twrp-installer.zip and Swipe Slider to install.
When install is successful tap on "Reboot", then tap on the first list item "System".
B. Flashing PixelDust ROM via sideload:
Download the ROM (for download links see above)
Boot fastboot mode
Connect the phone to the Computer with USB cord.
Wipe userdata (required for first PixelDust/Android 13 install)

You'll have to test that. Never used substratum since the dark mode arrived on Android.

Hey buddy, I'm currently rooted with stock Android 10, and I can't stand that the ring and notification volumes are linked together. I've searched and searched, and nobody seems to know a reliable way to unlink them on the Pixel 2 XL running stock Android 10. Does this ROM allow the ring and notification volumes to be truly unlinked, independent of each other?

This is running pretty much perfectly, thanks so much! I'm running this over stock because this allows me to tether with this (Magisk module.)
Only bug I've encountered so far is the bluetooth icon shows a device is connected when nothing is. But I can live with that!
Safe to dirty flash over the 10/13 beta release?
So far the main bug I've noticed is battery settings crashing sometimes.
Is there an option to swipe down to clear all recents once you hit the recent key?

Is there no way to pass cts without root? I don't want to install magisk i have been using pe a11 from ragu varma and it pass cts without root
But this build is more fluid and have extra features that i need

Ary bro... Just check cts using another app... U don't need root to pass it. Use some brain.
If banking apps working fine and playstore is certified u shouldn't be worried about anything. Also read that above tweet (read the whole stuff carefully)
