Try safe mode. If that doesn't work try a factory reset, if your using a custom ROM flash latest stock and try to reproduce the fault. If still continues to happen I would get in contact with Google to see what your options are.

Thanks for your answer! I have tried safe mode and factory reset and the problem persist... It's very weird... I changed the display days ago and after that i had contacted the phone to charge and suddenly the phone turns off when i turns on again I got a message about.. " his phone was turned off as a precaution. battery overheating" something like that was the message... Could be the problem something related with that?

No idea what could be causing it, never happened to me. Try a factory reset if possible.
Have you flashed any roms or kernels? Does your phone heat up?

Go to developer settings and make sure they are all turned off if they are then.....
If you haven't unlocked the bootloader and factory reset doesn't work then call htc and book a repair

LG Optimus G Pro turns off automatically.

So one night, i slept without plugging the phone to charging, and music was on via handsfree.
When I woke up, it was showing the warning to use correct battery.
And since then, it keeps turning off automatically and randomly during use, and sometimes refuses to go ahead of boot screen.
This happened on stock KitKat 4.4.2
I have tried Hard Reset, as well as another Custom ROM, but none seems to fix the problem.
Even if battery is at 80%, this problem occurs.
I don't know what to do.
Please help.

please confirm did your mobile turns off when it gets hot?
My phone shut off after few seconds it turned on,and sometimes restart without let pin selection for sim appear,so i really don't have time to do anything. But i repeat,i can"play"in recovery mode without problem, and phone doesn't turn off.Sorry for my bad english
Seems I solved it myself...
Turned out to be a problem with the battery.
So I jump-shocked it.
And voila, now it works like a charm.

Freezing at initial android set up?

I just got my brand new OP3, opened it and turned it on to start setting it up, it freezes inside the android set up and then restarts itself after a few seconds of being frozen.
Any solutions? I really don't want to return it, I find it a bit stupid it doesn't even work out of the box
Might be a dud. They happen. RMA it.

I don't own this phone, but this happened to me with a Nexus, I turned it off, was able to get into recovery mode with button combinations, then I factory reset, cleared cache, and rebooted, it was fine.
I hope you can give it a try

Tried doing the Factory reset thing, no luck. Talked to OP support and the guy told me to submit a ticket with my issues, and that a "level 2 technician" would help me.
So I got home and plugged it into my PC, turns out the phone doesn't freeze when plugged in via USB. But on the included charger, and without being plugged into anything, it freezes and reboots itself in a continuous loop.
Keep us informed I'd like to hear what the problem/solution is
Hello, i have the same issue, did u find the solution ?

I also had my Oneplus 3 in a bootloop and freezing while showing either the 1+ square or the rotating red dots.
After I tried to get it repaired by talking with support and had been using my old phone for a few days and reflashing the ROM and recovery many times. I got it working again (ish) now it only freezes ones a day.
Support is a pain, I'm waiting for a level 2 techician for almost a week now.
So I any of you know a solution or have a confirmation that it is a hardware failure, I think we all would like to hear about it.

Screen won't turn off, when connected to power...

Just got my H7x Saturday and am blowin away that a phone this nice can be had for under $200usd.
Anyways, Whenever I have the phone connected to the power-cord(charging) the screen won't turn off. I'll wait for the 60sec I have it set to, fade, the screen turns off, and then right back on immediately. Does the same when connected to USB on a windows computer. Charging only, file transfer etc. does it no matter the mode.
Any input with help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you

This setting is normally defaulted to off, but check the development option "stay awake"
No, it's set to off. But good call.
It seems like the screen saver would make it do this too. I just noticed that everytime the screen comes on, it's a different picture. However, settings>display>screen saver is off.
Just figured it out.
Under settings>Apps and notif...>notification and status bar> I had 'notifications turn on screen' turned on. That's what was causing it. Strange...
Can anyone else test for this?

Most users are on roms right now, I suggest you do he same.
And, no need for other people to test for this, you fixed the problem.

I guess I could root and rom. I am just so impressed with the battery on the stock rom I was going to try and keep it as long as I can.
What ROM do you suggest?
And I didn't fix the issue. Just turned it off... Its still an issue for people who want thier screen to turn on when they get notifacations.
Thanks for the help!

Openkirin roms are good, but the support chat in telegram is a bit toxic...
Also, any hi6250 rom will work well, like with the p8 lite 2017; roms there work on the honor 7x too, i've tested.

3XL won't shut down... Keeps restarting

This may sound a little strange has anyone ever encounted the problem where their phone will not shut down. Holding in the power button and choosing shut down just restarts it. Choosing shut down from fastboot also just restarts it. I even tried locking the bootloader with the December update , but it still happens..... Strange

Is it plugged in when this happens? If so, try again with the cable disconnected. Else, it's think this means a sticky power button.
Thank you, but it happens unplugged. It says shutting down..... Turns off for about 3 to 4 seconds..... Then the white screen to boot..... If it was a sticky button, wouldn't to keep going to the power menu?
Have you tried rebooting to safe mode then seeing of you can shutdown? If it works in safe mode, it's probably an app causing a weird glitch.
Same thing happened to me a few months ago, solved with a factory reset.
Did this get resolved, I have a pixel3 that will only stay turned off of the charger cable is connected. everything else works fine.
Latest Android 11, multiple factory resets and still will not stay shutdown.
Power button does not seem to be stuck, doubletap for camer works flawlessly and so does any other function I can think of.

I was in repair shop and they told me it's hardware problem and needs expensive repair. I refused to repair. Phone still works and will see what will happened.
