how to flash stock again, if entering the download mode is not possible?

Bro,
flashing stock is final option....
try to boot in recovery mode. if you are in bootloop
@ How To Reboot to Recovery mode
- Keep holding Vol down + power (Side key) - As soon as device warning screen appears, keep holding Vol Up - with USB Connected to PC is important
then flash KETAN Rom...
this is from my experience. so it will work
take care. staY safe...

Just got this phone, bootloader is already unlocked, but trying to figure out how to get TWRP + LineageOS on it. Do you HAVE to flash Dr. Ketan's ROM for all this to work? I keep trying to just flash TWRP with latest R firmware installed and it will boot to TWRP at first, but once I reboot to system it just gets stuck on Samsung logo and won't go past that

Hi,
If your Galaxy Note 10 Plus is stuck on the boot screen, there are a few things you can try to recover your device without losing data:
Boot into recovery mode: Press and hold the power button, volume down button, and Bixby button (if your device has one) until the Samsung logo appears. Then release the buttons and use the volume down button to navigate to "Recovery mode" and press the power button to select it.
Wipe the cache partition: Once in recovery mode, navigate to "Wipe cache partition" and select it. This will wipe the cache files on your device but will not delete any personal data.
Boot into safe mode: Press and hold the power button until the Samsung logo appears, then release the power button and press and hold the volume down button. Continue to hold the volume down button until the device finishes booting. When in safe mode, all third-party apps will be disabled, and you can determine if any of them are causing the issue.
If none of the above steps work, you may try factory resetting your device. However, this will erase all data on the device, so make sure to backup your important files before proceeding.
If none of the steps work, you may need to flash the stock firmware on your device. This process is more complex and requires technical knowledge.
It's recommended to seek help from a professional technician if you are not familiar with the process.

[Q] Stuck at RSD Lite

ok guys, i really need some help here. not sure what i did wrong, but been stuck at this point for hours. i followed the methods as below
1. Install RSD Lite and USB Driver Motorola
2. Root your Defy with SuperOneClick (guide can be found on previous spoiler)
3. Install System Recovery apk file. Open the app and click Install System Recovery ( place System Recovery apk file in your SD Card)
4. Extract the file Froyo_UK_3.4.2-117 and place the folder in sdcard/goapkrev/backup ( if you cannot find the folder, create one)
5. Click Recovery boot and it should enter clockwork mod recovery
6. Navigate to backup/restore. Do a Backup for your current stock rom (navigate using volume up/down and press Power Button to enter)
7. Wipe data and wipe dalvik cache (in Advanced Options) in the recovery mode
8. Restore Froyo_UK_3.4.2-117
9. Click reboot and right after that press and hold down volumn up button and you should be in boot mode
10. Plug in you Defy to computer and open RSD Lite. Open the file TmobileUS_Boot_Devtree and flash with it.
problem comes when i'm at flashing using RSD lite. when i flash it, it comes to 'please manually power up your phone'. problem is, i keep getting the motorola logo, which i assume is being stuck in a boot loop? i tried to go to recovery and wiping data and cache, and flashing it again, but keep having the same problem.
actually, how to you manually power up the phone? i did a battery pull since pressing the power button seems to get is stuck in the same boot loop, and i dont see any other way.
please help!
Pull battery,
put battery back in holding the VOL-Down until the android pops up...
press VOL-Up and VOL-Down at the same time.
Next screen is for wiping and updating.
Wipe Data/Cache
When done, go to REBOOT and hold down the VOL-Up to go into Flash mode. and flash with RSD 4.9

You should be good to go...
i think i did a stupid thing and flashed the whole thing with a uk_rom.sbf. now my defy is showing a black screen but during flashing with a TmobileUS_Boot_Devtree.sbf, the screen does show SW Update but once finish, it's all black again.

Help, possible bricked A100

I was trying to go back to stock ICS and cwm recovery. When I tried to go back, I was currently rooted, running twrp recovery and a custome rom (carbon). I followed this procedure:
The simple method to revert back to stock ICS from a custom ROM on an A100.
+++Locked bootloader, no custom recovery, no root. Full stock .014 rom. It will recieve OTA updates to latest Acer version.+++
Get Ready
1) Download this flashable Stock recovery zip, and place in your normal flashing location, - Thx 4 help pio
http://db.tt/VLmnMCzq
Also uploaded below
2) Download the Official .014 Stock ICS rom
The stock ICS zip from zeronull. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1611696
Here is a second link to it. http://ubuntuone.com/7DZtbNqZzOk7qsaQxNk99a - thx zleto
3) Rename the Stock ICS rom to "update.zip", no quotes (make sure you have "hide known file extensions" UNCHECKED, in the folder options). And place it on the root of your microSD card. This will allow you to see the file extension to verify that it is named properly.
Get it Done
1) Flash the Stock recovery zip with your custom recovery. Then wipe cache, davlik cache, and wipe data/factory reset.
2) Reboot to system.
3) Allow it to sit for 5 minutes or so.
4) Then Power off.
5) Update from the microSD card by holding down the power and volume rocker closest to the corner at the same time, until you see "erasing cache .".. ect, ect. The stock rom install should start by itself, dont touch anything, wait for it to reboot.
****** If it won't boot do a factory reset (with the hardware buttons, see below) and/or try to reflash the ics rom one more time. ******
Quote:
To perform a Factory Data Reset use the following steps:
1.Place the rotation lock switch in the up position (tablet held in portrait). Or to the left if held in landscape.
2.Press and hold the Volume down button, which is located farthest from the corner (it is volume up, if held in landscape).
3.With the Volume down button held, press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds then release it. Continue holding the Volume down button.
4.Once the tablet vibrates, switch the rotation lock on and off repeatedly while still holding the Volume down button.
5.Release the Volume down button and stop switching the rotation lock once the "Erasing Userdata..." message appears in the upper left corner of the screen
Now I get the android symbol with the red triangle, that stays for about a minute, then it reboots and stays on thye acer screen. When I did the steps and was going to reboot, I received a waring while in recovery sayiny that I dont have a op installed. I did it anyway, as posted and now I'm stuck, can anyone PLEASE help me.I tried doing a reset with steps 2 though 4 but while pressing the vol up and letting go of the power button, it does not vibrate.
Ok, I redownloaded the stock ICS from here http://ubuntuone.com/7DZtbNqZzOk7qsaQxNk99a. At the end of the download, a window popped up saying this may be a malicious file. (Idownloaded it on my pc). I remember it also said the same thing when I downloaded it the first time too. I turned off the tablet, took the sd card out, put in pc and transferred the file, pulled out from pc, inserted in tablet and turned it on, still same thing with android synbol and red triangle. I tried to do a factory reset by following the steps above. I got it to say erasing userdata, then this is what it says in red, unrecoverable bootloader (ox19000008) I have no idea what this means?? Can anyone help me out with getting this back to stock ICS and recovery?? What do I do next?? Thanks
Now, when I do the same procedure but instead use the vol up button (instead of the down button), it comes up bootloader, then the version number, then starting fastboot usb protocol. I have no idea what this means??

Probably, but I dont care about void or warranty. Just want it to work like it used to....
Not even Shazam works, or other simple apps.

From within the recovery installed here? recovery-clockwork-6.0.3.7

Then it seems I must reinstall it because there is a warnings sign over the "Android robot" and it says manual mode.

I tried to reinstall/flash the twrp, but it is so hard to get into the recovery mode byholding home and volume up. Tried alsmost ten times now
and all that happens is that it boots normally... Crap phone!
That is very weird, I flashed my phone at least 15 times by now and never had an issue.
When should I hold down volume up and home button?
When Odin says PASS? When the screen goes black? When vibrate starts? When vibrate ends?
The procedure is as:
1.Copy the " S4Mini_RootKit_v1.zip" to your device SD card.
2.Turn off the phone.
3.Press and hold home, volume down and power. Download screen should appear.
4.Connect USB cable, and press volume up.
5.Start Odin, uncheck "F. Reset Time", and then click AP button.
6.Select "recovery-clockwork-6.0.3.7-serranoltexx.tar.md5" file that you previously extracted, and press Start button. The phone will reboot when finished.
7.After the phone resets (it vibrates) IMMEDIATELY hold volume up and home buttons to boot into recovery mode.
restart, and hold the home + up when the phone boots. I usually keep them presed from the moment I hit restart

I believe so too. I think I have tried at least 30 times no. Everything from before Odin says PASS! to just after the vibrate stops.
All I get is normal reboot and no recovery.
I really hope the smart guys in here find a fix.

Why Not?
I never stop on vibrate (never make this: After the phone resets (it vibrates) IMMEDIATELY... ), I always reboot after flash recovery.
To go to it , power off, then holder Home + Vol up + Power but when I see the yellow message "Set Warranty bit : Recovery" (or the old blue one msg) I pull out my finger from power but wait whit Home + Vol up pressed until recovery appear.
It work always for me. I don't understand.
Whit root I use the Quick Boot.

First BE Advised, using the following methods, you WILL LOSE ALL OF YOUR DATA and HAVE A FACTORY FRESH CONFIGURATION WITH EXCEPTION TO KNOX IF YOU'VE TRIPPED IT PREVIOUSLY and YOU WILL HAVE FACTORY RECOVERY ONLY ONCE COMPLETED (CAPS for emphasis only, we want to make sure you know you won't have your data once you take these steps):
Part 1 of 2 - Master reset with hardware keys
A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloaded content, ringtones, images, apps, and contacts. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card or SD card.
If the device menus are frozen or unresponsive, you can master reset using hardware keys. To perform a master reset, follow these steps:
Back up all data on the internal memory.
Turn off the device.
Press and hold the following three buttons at the same time:
Volume Up key
Home key
Power key.
When 'GALAXY Note 3' appears on the screen, release the Power key but continue to press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key.
When the Android System Recovery screen appears, release the Volume Up and Home keys.
Press the Volume down key to highlight 'wipe data / factory reset.'
Press Power button to select.
Press the Volume down key to highlight 'delete all user data.'
Press Power button to select and start the master reset. When the master reset is complete, 'Reboot system now' is highlighted.
Press the Power key to turn the restart the device.
These same directions are also provided on the T-Mobile website at the following URL:
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-9049
Part 2 of 2 - Reloading your phone...
You should use a stock image of your current build to perform the following steps:
Recover phone:
1. Put phone in download mode
2. Open Heimdall
3. On utilities tab “check device” If your phone cannot be read, it may be far worse than expected.
4. Click on flash tab after successfully detected.
5. In the pit section, choose the pit file I provided.
6. Click add in the partitions box to the right > Select BOOT
7. Select the boot.img file provided
8. Click add in the partitions box again to the right > Select CACHE
9. Select the cache.img.ext4 file provided.
10. Click the add in the partitions box again > Select RECOVERY
11. Select the recovery provided (you can probably use any recovery, but provided is twrp 2.6.3.7)
12. Make sure no reboot is checked
13. The phone may flash all the way to the end and error out. If this is the case, proceed with steps 14 and 15. If not, proceed to step 16.
14. **Pull battery
15. **Replace
16. Boot to recovery, and re-install your backup (or another ROM, whatever).
The same steps are also listed in more significant detail via http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2545009
Hope this helps.

Deleted OS,phone stuck at home screen,no access to bootloader

I rooted my phone. But accidentally deleted my OS. Before flashing with a new ROM, i wiped off the cache/system/Dalvik cache.
When i tried flashing my device, i got some failure. So, i tried to reboot my device.
But, now i am not able to get into bootloader mode. The device is stuck at home screen with HTC logo and is unresponsive. Nor the power button is working to shut it off. I have to wait to get the battery drained.
Also, Vol Dwn+Power is not working to move it to Fastboot mode, so dat i can recover with my TWRP backup.
Also, i have seen that when the device is powered off, i can access the storage using USB, but can't access it when it is powered ON.
I thought of trying flashing RUU but for that i guess i need USB access to device while it is powered ON.
Please suggest me how to resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance

Hi Guys,
I sorted out the issue. Thanks to various information available which i need to put in together to fix.
FIrst of all, the good thing is that i had the TWRP recovery.
I was able to move into Fastboot mode once the device is switched off.
Steps i followed::
1) Place the TWRP backup in the sd card in the proper directory structure.
TWRP -> BACKUPS-> [phone's serial number] -> ROMName
2) Volume up+power button to shut it off.
3) Volume Down+power button to move to Fastboot mode.
4) Select Recovery. You will be moved to TWRP manager.
5) Select Restore there and select the proper recovery folder which u had copied in the sd card.
6) You are done!! BINGO
For those who don't have TWRP backup, they can flash it with a proper ROM available by simply placing the ROM zip in the sd card, wipe the cache from TWRP manager. Select Install from TWRP manager and select the ROM zip and you are done flashing with the new ROM.
