Cross Device Development Rom - Samsung Galaxy S9 Questions & Answers

Hello, can I ask if we can flash the custom rom from cross device development like Alexis Rom?

afaik, NO.
a "cpu" (snapdragon 845 in our case) from a smartphone is more than just a regular cpu as we are used to think, it's a SoC - system on a chip, so it's a completely different system...
people from cross device development use models that have Exynos

@luws im not familiar with exynos 9810, its not an SoC like the snapdragon 845?

Genius Idea!!!!!Optimization!!!!Libraries builded by Qualcomm!

Hey guys, swimming in the digital web sea I found that Motorola uses Qualcomm Propretary Tools to build optimized DALVIK and BIONIC libraries,I found this here http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/mod-optimized-dalvik-binaries-t2932417,who who made the this post ported them from Motorola Moto X (Device with the same Soc of OnePlus One) because these optimized libraries by Motorola and Qualcomm can be ported between devices with the same Soc (ex:Motorola Moto X-OnePlus One;Motorola Moto G-} Xiaomi Redmi 1S) yeaaah I wrote Xiaomi Redmi 1S(our beloved Xiaomi Redmi 1S) and I found a similar post in the Moto G thread(here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2756227) so there is a possibility of porting. So,I'm asking to all the BIGGEST developers to port these libraries, now the two questions you are thinking about are:
1)What do this libraries do?I don't want to be very technical,so I'll be very focused :They give more PERFORMANCE and BATTERY LIFE,and I can guarantee (with all the other user of these libraries on other devices) that it's true because I'm trying the on my dad's OnePlus One and the affect the device in a so positive way
2)Who will port them? We'll see who will
It's compiled proprietary blobs. They can't be ported. They just working or not working.
Actually there is no reason why it shouldn't work on CM11 based ROMs.
UPD: info from second link is actually quite interesting; maybe our dev's would try to do this (if they not already using it ofc, lol).
not sure about Dalvik as devs are moved to develop lollipop rom, so maybe ART binaries could be help...

Did vulkan api flashable zip available for Moto G4 plus?

Vulkan api flashable zip available for redmi note 3,is there anyway to get vulkan api for g4 plus such as flashable zip etc...?
I'm fairly sure vulkan libraries are a requirement for all official OEM 7.0 ROMs.
The ROM I'm currently on (Slim 7) has vulkan support.

There is no vulkan support for g4 plus as of yet rather there's no vulkan support for sd617 devices, however it won't make a huge difference.?
No other rom can support vulkan if it's not on official firmware

Unfortunately a ZIP with the Vulkan's API does not exists, because any Adreno 400 series GPU isn't (so far) officially supported, and we have Adreno 405.
The only CPUs officially supported are (Snapdragon 430, 625, 650, 652, 820, 821, 835), and they have Adreno 500 series GPUs (Adreno 510, Adreno 530, Adreno 540).
Theoricly, this CPUs: Qualcomm Snapdragon 415, 615, 616, 617, 805, 808, 810 are planned to be supported, all with Adreno 400 series, but i really doubt that this will happen someday... taking in count that they are "old" SoCs.

Android P GSI

Has anyone tried out the android P development preview GSI yet?
As long i read the p one was a semi / port and Qualcomm based one, dunno if it'l boot on our kirin chip
It's for snapdragon... no guarantee it will even boot or work well on Kirin chipsets.

Question about the LG K10 (2016-MTK) Development

It has been 2 years since the phone was released. I never saw a single custom rom for those MTK variants, and it has been a long time that there are no mods developed for the device. The only mod that I saw for the K10 MTK variants is the Xposed module. Also, there is still no way to bypass the dm-verity for the variants. So I have this question, what is the current state of the development for the MTK variants of the LG K10 (2016)? Dead? Abandoned? On a hiatus? or the developers are busy working on it?
I am sorry for asking, I just want more development for the MTK variants so baaaad.

Why there's no custom recovery support or any custom rom on this device?

I regret buying this phone, the community is dead from the start there's no support for this device no twrp no custom rom etc. should ive buy snapdragon phone than mediatek is sucks
