Since i don't own a moto g 2014 device, i need some testers for it.

Credits to abhifx for the original rom.
P.S. This is the first time i've made a thread, so i don't know how to make a cheesy and attractive looking thread. So Excuse me

Do I have to be rooted to flash this?

The basic information like, does it boots up properly, does any fc's appear, camera, music, video playback, battery life etc

You're welcome! Please tell me, did you design it for a particular variant of the Moto G 2014? Do you expect compatibility with XT1068?
It's downloading now, I will take a nandroid backup of my stock rom, and then flash. Should I take any other precautions?

yes it is ported for Xt1068 and it should work just fine.
and just take a nandroid backup
and then wipe data and then flash it

Did a factory reset before trying to flash. Using TWRP recovery
I get the same error. Is the file extension correct? 7-zip can't seem to open it up.
When you flash this rom it says This package is for device xt1031,xt1032,xt1033,xt1034,falcon_umts , falcon_umtds,falcon_cdma,falcon_retuaws,falcon,falcon_gpe; your device is titan _udstv -
So for the moto g (i.e previous version - called the falcon lol

whether there is anyone to have a little solution for it
hello I made some modifications to the updater-script and rom installed more gets stuck in bootloop might be something I did in the updater-script like q consertace the updater-script and post it somenete q do the exchange here
replace the updater-script for that link below and ROM file will flash more can not get out of the bootloop please help

Sorry i had been a bit busy
And the rom is ported from falcon device.. So i think it had some bits of old rom still left. I would appreciate if some dev would help me in the debugging.
According to the reports given in this thread, what happens when flashing the file is, the recovery checks if the device is moto g or its other variants, for safety of not bricking the device by flashing a wrong one. So, in theory, you'll have to replace the set of codes that checks if the device is moto g(falcon) with the ones that check if the device is moto g 2nd gen (titan or xt1068). That should probably help.

About :
Root your Moto E4 Plus any variant (SKU XT1770, XT1772, XT1773) . Only phh's Superuser able to root Moto E4 Plus . SuperSU & Magisk isn't fully compatible with Moto E4 Plus and failed to root this device . Unofficial Xposed works with Moto E4 Plus but not Xposed module's (force close error !)
Procedure :
Step 1 : Installing Recovery
- Install Ported TWRP recovery first
- if you haven't installed it yet ! Get it from below thread.

Step 2 : Opening TWRP Recovery
- Boot into recovery
- Select storage and locate to zip file
- Install phh's supersu zip file
- Swipe to install
- Done

Step 3 : Disable dm-verity and Force encryption
This step is crucial else you won't able to boot into system again !
To disable dm-verity and force encryption use no-verity-opt-encrypt zip file.

- Reboot into recovery again
- Install no-verity-opt-encrypt zip file
- Reboot into system
Step 4 : Installing phh's Superuser Application
- Install phhsuperuser app (Get this app from Googleplay)
- Within phhsuperuser app < open settings
- Superuser access set to Apps and ADB
- Done

we need more information. Kindly upload recovery logs here and for now restore your device stock boot image and again try with phh's superuser.

hello everyone, I´ve been looking everywhere on the web and cant seem to find a way that is clearly explained on how to disable the verity option on my system, I´m on the august update of android oreo build number OPNS27.76-12-22-9 on a xt-1235_02 moto z play, already with unlocked bootloader and rooted, but can´t use apps that work on system files due to this verity thing, is there anyone who knows what could I do to change this?

You can't get it from your device. You need a full firmware package. Moto has not released it yet as far as I know.

Either boot TWRP temporrarily or patch your boot.img in Magisk Manager and flash it manually with fastboot.
