?Miracast is enable in custom roms? - Motorola One Action Questions & Answers

I read that mirroring works on some custom roms... Possibly RR? If that is the case, does anyone know what changes were implemented to do this? Obviously it's not just the same couple of lines in the buildprop that it used to be, but would still be worth any extra work in my opinion. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks!

[Q] Wifi not working - fixed by Cyanogen?

I have the 'wifi not working properly" that many others have reported. I'm still on 2.3.3 and have hopes that 2.3.4 may fix this. But does anyone know if the Cyanogen mod, when available for the Arc, will fix this? Does it change the wifi at all?

Maybe, maybe not, who knows until we get it.

I was thinking perhaps of an educated guess about what the mods do, but without wanting to post in the Developers forum

[Q] Nav Buttons

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has ever created a mod that would make the NAV Buttons change color constantly? Like a slowly shifting blend of colors. Kinda like when LED stripes shift colors. I have tried searching but either no one has or i suck at searching. Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen a similar mod and I am not sure if it is easy to be done because probably it requires constant changes to SystemUI and Framework while the device is running!
Still maybe a dev finds it possible and makes it
Of course it won't require constant changes the the code.. Please don't answer if you know nothing about programming.
It could can be done, and it won't require any huge changes, but it will require someone capable of and willing to do it.

I typed "probably" which means I am not sure about that but just my thought. I did not even talk about the code! I meant changes in the images which are of different colors. Still that was my "thought" and nothing more.
Anyway sorry if I have done something wrong. It is good that it won't require that constant changes and hopefully someone will be interested in this idea and do it
Hi
Is there any mod for normal color change like constant ?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
At least its possible. Maybe someone will try it. If you are running AOKP you can change nav button color to any color you like. I am sure someone has made a mod for it. Thx for the responses.

I suggest that you make a "[REQUEST]" thread in the "Themes and Apps" section so the devs up there will read about your idea and hopefully one of them will be interested and have the time to do it
You deserve a Thanks for this idea actually

LCD Density

This may be a dumb question, but is there anyway to change the LCD Density of everything EXCEPT the Playstore in order to keep compatibility? I am aware that the Paranoid Android ROM is capable of this, but is it specific to that ROM or can you setup something similar in other ROMs by using build.prop or similar methods.
Thanks for the help.
i think if you edit the build.prop it will modify LCD density globally.
afaik only Paranoid or any other rom that is capable of the per-app thing is able to accomplish this.
is it specific to those roms? im not a dev so i dont really understand all the behind the scenes work they put in/things or the things they edit/mod.. so can't really say.

Xposed for Oreo

I think it'd be a good idea to have a thread to find out whether Xposed for Oreo is working or not. In my experience it has, but at the cost of the camera functionality.
Anyone's experience with beta 2? Or workarounds for anything?
We should make an effort to produce some logs; I've already made three, and I'm just in the process of filtering them to upload to Pastebin and send them to rovo. So if you've got logs, go ahead and drop them here and I will add them to OP.

Are there any custom roms supporting OK Google wake-up with screen off?

As far as I've seen, this is something that is unsupported -- I'm wondering if it wouldn't be too hard to enable.
Has anyone seen a custom rom where this works?
Any idea regarding difficulty of implementing it?

There is a way to get this to work because I've looked it up before. Would definitely drain your battery more. Just do a Google search you will find what your looking for.
