Post this in the LOS 17.1 thread rather than this one.
If you have Magisk, the phone is seen as rooted. With some apps it will be impossible to avoid detection even if you pass the SafetyNet check.

additionally,
Just after LOS is installed, app recognized as a rooted device.
This is an issue where magisk is recognized as a rooted device even without it installed.( Wipe and only installed LOS and gapps)
I installed MAGISK to modify what is recognized as a rooted device.

No update since December '17
I want to update to February security patch for my moto z play, i did read someplace else that the security patches needs to be secuencial and not skipped is this true? if so, where i can find october security patch thats the only one missing that i cound't find.
can some one help me?

If sideloading updates/taking OTAs, then yes, it has to be sequential.
If flashing the firmware itself, no.

Are you trying to update to Oreo? You could just flash the firmware to your phone.

Hello. I have a verizon note 8 SM-950U (N950USQU3CRBB). My phone says there is no new updates but last security patch was on march which is the one that came with oreo. How can i get it to download the april security patch?
