Same here but I'm using a RN9pro global joyeuse, seems everything's working fine, except for face unlock doesn't exist on settings, and when phone on sleep/standby for a long time it shuts off/turns off everytime.
Thank you to anyone can help fix issue.

Did you do a dirty flash over the last one? Maybe that's the issue with the restarting problem...

i flash on a different havoc os with the same versions.
fixed:
re-flash a different rom then flash this rom over and the power off behavior is gone.
now :
as stated this rom has a face unlock which i did no have. after flashing the rom
and the Ok google, not working as well.
beyond those two rom is quite good for a daily for me.
dumb question:
should i be on default miui 11 stock. before flashing other roms?
thanks for responding

The devs do tell you to flash the latest available firmware before flashing a rom but I guess that it's not required every time you flash unless the stock MIUI got a firmware update.

Well, I haven't seen anybody else complaining about this so it's weird that it's happening to you... Maybe you should try by first flashing the latest firmware and then again flashing the ROM. Maybe that'll fix it.

That's correct but make sure to only mount data, dalvik cache and cache after wiping and before flashing the ROM. Then, after flashing the ROM, remember to format data again before rebooting to system, or to recovery to install gapps or magisk.

- no hotspot available
- UI seems to lag
- brightness controller doesn't work (brightness button doesn't work either)
- video recording doesn't work
Just my quick 2 cents review The UI does look dope tho, pity it can't be used as a daily driver for now for me
---------- Post added at 12:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:08 PM ----------
Oh btw, when I tried to flash Magisk it auto rebooted before the flashing was even completed.

Thanks on the guide sir. But brightness is not working for me at all. I've checked in the Display settings and it just shows it at 50% no matter how I try to adjust it. No idea if anyone else is facing this issue.

Hi all,
Aug patch disturbed many working things.
I.e. hotspot & asus camera.
Both issue not in jul patch which made by Suhail Malik.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/192N1nsl6u85gtjKUgjl555h3JYMWuNor/view?usp=drivesdk
You can use this build till issues resolves.
In this build also has magisk issue but you need to patch using earlier post method.
Thanks to Suhail.

Thank you! This build is working perfectly for me, everything seems to be pretty smooth. :fingers-crossed:
Hopefully the issue will be resolved soon. Looks like quite a few ROMs are facing similar issues bcoz of the security patch.
Havoc new updated build here.
Fixed Hotspot issue.

Thanks to SuhailMalik.

In these applications I had no problems, I have bug in long video call in whatsapp, I'm trying to fix it for the next update. Try changing the base, I'm using base 13

Error in TWRP
Hi there, I've been trying to install this ROM quite a while but I'm unable to do so. I am running build 10.0.13.0 but the problem percists on 10.0.18.0 too. I am also using dees_troy's TWRP and I keep running into this error:
Code:
Step 1/2
Error applying update: 7 (ErrorCode : : kInstallDeviceOpenError)
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
Error installing zip file 'external_sd/ROM/Havoc-OS-v3.5-20200511-0140-daisy-UNNOFFICIAL-GApps.zip'
Updating partitiondetails...
...done
Edit: Fixed it myself, for some reason dees_troy_'s TWRP is uncappable of installing the room, after switching to offain's TWRP everything worked fine.
Vanilla download link
Is there vanilla version still available? The latest (3.5) is gapps only 1.2 GB in size.
I tried the latest build but got stuck at the boot animation. I could hear the phone screen turn off sound so must have booted almost completely.
I'm on 10.0.13 btw.

Nothing works. at that time. Apparently both adb reboot-bootloader & manual fastboot sequence just skips either and straight to booting ROM. I just reflashed back kdz & go back to fastboot using QFIL and started all over again. It works fine now so probably I missed some steps on my earlier flash.

You mean by adb reboot recovery from ROM? I did but there is weird recovery installed, I forgot most of it but it shown as google/coral/coral as a header, like stock recovery rather than TWRP. Probably the TWRP did not stick last time. Well I guess it is a bit longer route but all iz well.

Yeah sounds like TWRP didn't stick when you enabled inject TWRP...when that happens you want to go into fastboot swap slots boot into TWRP but this time go into advanced and use the ramdisk option and choose the same TWRP.img and now TWRP will be installed on both slots...
I currently have this same rom on my LG V40 but based on the official gsi and currently it is going very well, do you recommend installing this or keeping the gsi? Or what advantages does this have that the gsi does not have? I hope you can understand, my English is very bad XD, anyway thanks.

Carrier or US unlocked?
First I installed all the updates from LG, than I had Paranoid Android Quartz 3, and now I flashed HavocOS. I get “Vendor image does not match the system” message at boot. PA didnt have this. Does it matter?
Any chance that you're going to build Havoc OS 3.6?

I got the same issue like him "After flashed this, I no longer able to boot twrp from fastboot. It stalls after fastboot boot twrp.img then straight boot to ROM." I think I missed the point where I have to check inject TWRP, how I can go back to TWRP now? do I have to redo the whole thing using QFIL?

So....when you install a rom from Slot a it installs to Slot b, so the TWRP from Slot a is still there even if you failed to inject TWRP into your Slot b. You can follow the same directions I gave him.

I have found some reference about joyeuse too, for example about camera. It would be nice if some developer can check.

This rom works best for joyeuse. But it may work well with curtana, gram, and excalibur (not sure yet).

We're using curtana's kernel supported for joyeuse (camera, charging,NFC....)
Just perfect! I love Havoc OS thank you for bringing it to our Joyeuse phones. Everything works great and no issues with performance. Pico gapps is definitely the best for this ROM.
Might just be me but fingerprint scanner isn't working

Came from Xiaomi EU Rom 11.0.2.0.QJZMIXM. Do you think it's smart to go back to factory image and go from there?
I will flash again and make sure I do a proper clean flash, thank you

You need flash atleast 11.0.4.0 (Stock recomended via fastboot or miflash so need backup all your data first)
Screen recording is broken on curtana. I tried both internal and third party apps. When the recording is started, the phone crashes and reboots. I can't authorize my PC to take a logcat.

That worked, thank you
EDIT: Nope, looked like it worked but I was mistaken! I flashed 11.0.7.0.QJZMIXM from fastboot and followed installation instructions. I get to the fingerprint registration screen but the scanner doesn't respond to touches. Any suggestions?
EDIT 2: FP scanner works with "[ROM][OTA][UPDATE][[10.0][OFFICIAL][JOYEUSE] Resurrection Remix Q v8.6.1 [01/10/2020]" if that helps at all.
Otherwise I'm sticking with this rom, it is still the best!
Owhh man you are the best. Finally an update. Thank you so much for this. Take your time for updating this rom. One question, will you make this build official? Only if you want. Once again, thank you so much.
Still no FP scanner joy. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious because everything else is working so well!!!
I've tried lots of different methods but what I would think should work is:
1) Flash 11.0.4.0.QJZMIXM with fastboot
2) Boot to PBRP
3) Factory reset (wipe Data, cache etc)
4) Install ROM
5) Reboot to recovery
6) Install GAPPS
7) Reboot system
Files I'm using are:
Recovery: PBRP-joyeuse-3.0.0-20201002-1244-UNOFFICIAL
Stock ROM: joyeuse_global_images_V11.0.4.0.QJZMIXM_20200623.0000.00_10.0_global
HAVOC ROM: Havoc-OS-v3.9-20201002-miatoll-Unofficial
GAPPS: open_gapps-arm64-10.0-pico-20201001
Have also tried 11.0.5 and 11.0.7 stock. Have also tried the FP Scanner tool in PB recovery.
After going through the gapps setup, there's no Fingerprint option in the Security settings page. Does anyone else have this issue for Joyeuse?

IMS
All the carrier specifc are disabled by default. Only basic mobile data will work.
To enable carrier specific features, such as IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi or WiFi calling,
- Go to Settings > XperiaParts - Enable "IMS features". This will pick and update the modem based on your carrier - A reboot dialog should pop up, and reboot.
NOTE: Above will only work if it worked on stock too.
Here as some FAQs if you run into some issue.
What is modem crashing ?
Sometimes, the modem flashed may not be right (mainly due to lack of carrier updates). Due to this, the modem keeps crashing and so it can't connect sim in service.
How to know if modem is crashing ?
Your SIM won't get in service at all, and your wifi will disconnect and reconnect frequently.
What to do then ?
You can do 2 things:
- Switch to 3G and wait if it worksOR- Go to Settings > XperiaParts- Turn off "IMS features". This will flash default modem which will provide basic mobile data and calling feature.
I have enabled IMS features, I have SIM connected, no modem crashing and yet IMS can't register. What to do ?
If the WiFi and SIM connectivity are stable but IMS can't be registered, it must be the APN issue. See if updating APN fixes it else contact me.
I didn't turn on "IMS features", but still I can't get my sim connected. What to do ?
Make sure to check if default modem is flashed.
- Switch to 3G and wait. If it doesn't work then: - Go to Settings > XperiaParts > Status - If it says this "amss_fsg_lilac_tar.mbn" modem, then contact me - Else either reboot or turn on and turn off "IMS Features" or check your APN.

Thanks very much @Rooted_Ansh ! I can't wait to install it ; )
Installed non-GAPPS version using russel5's twrp from 4pda but following instructions in OP. Ran through set up then factory reset after first boot. Booted to twrp and flashed pico gapps 11.
So far, ROM is running flawlessly. No issues with SD card or anything else yet. However, I haven't yet put a sim in since it's my tester xz1c. I'll do so over the next few days and report back.
Excellent work as always Ansh, thank you much
Tried dirty flash but ended with boot stuck (after 15min I quit) and done the Clean flash - so far so good.
Carier network detected from first start (usual reboot required), Google pay works, everything else looks good.
Thank you @Rooted_Ansh for this great rom!
I can't shoot videos in anything higher than 30FPS. 1080p60 and 720p960 modes worked just fine in the previous release.

Through my investigation, I don’t know if it’s my problem. Applications with API=30 cannot be installed (this is why I can’t install launcher3)
I solved this problem because some magisk modules I installed were wrong. Pardon me for interrupting you.
