Redmi Note 5 Pro dead, no fastboot, no recovery, no led

Hi all,
after waiting 15 days, I have unlocked the bootloader, flashed twrp, firmware and rom, then rebooted.
the phone is dead ever since.
I can see it in device manager as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM10)", but I am not able to flash a rom through miflash.
any help is welcome
*additional informations*
here are the steps i followed:
1) unlocked bootloader succesfully
2) flashed official twrp
3) wiped EVERYTHING except sd ext
4) flashed this firmware
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xiaomi-firmware-updater/files/Developer/
5) flashed this rom
https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...ment/ota-resurrection-remix-os-6-0-0-t3777375
6) rebooted, dead
I noticed now that if i try to turn on the phone, the led blinks a few times
PROBLEM SOLVED:
the phone is alive again. Here is what I have done-
1) I opened the phone and tried the test point method, but I noticed that nothing changed in the way the phone was detected by my laptop. So, it's not crucial have "COM 7" in device manager.
Then I basically followed the steps suggested by @Destrangis in post #3
2- In MiFlash Choose CLEAN ALL and install this rom: http://bigota.d.miui.com/V9.2.7.0.NE...179eb04f38.tgz
3- Installed TWRP, WIPES and flash https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=5862345805528041092 and Magisk
4- Come back TWRP, WIPES and install your favorite rom.

EDL booting and flashing is your solution.
Now, only debatable is will you use EDL booting procedure which requires opening of the phone to short two contacts to be able to boot in EDL or You will use altered ADB which gives possibility to boot in EDL without case opening. This second option is somehow questionable but first, i think, if second option to enter EDL without opening is way to go!

Hard brick. I went through it. Follow these steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfkRHAW2iXI .
1- You have to activate the EDL mode.
2- In MiFlash Choose CLEAN ALL and install this rom: http://bigota.d.miui.com/V9.2.7.0.N...EK_20180406.0000.00_7.1_global_179eb04f38.tgz

4- Come back TWRP, WIPES and install your favorite rom. :good:
PD: If you see "COM7" in MIFLASH, go directly to step 2.

I tried to test point to give flash in the rom by Miflash, the pc recognizes my device in the COM port, when initiating the process it gives an error message: CAN NOT READ HELLO PACKET. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? my device is simply dead because of that anti-rollback that Xiaomi implemented.

Try to use usb 2.0 ports.
Maybe edl mode has timed out. Press the power button for 20-30 seconds to power cycle the phone.
Or open it up and remove battery pin for a minute. Reconnect and try again.

I already tried on usb ports 2 and 3, and it did not work. Holding the buttons for a long time did not solve either. I opened it to test point, removed the battery, but none of it makes the phone work. The problem is that at the time of fash in Miflash it gives the following error: CAN NOT READ HELLO POCKET. I do not know what this error is or what it is about?

Have you try using edl method?
But at least can you access fastboot first, using power off + volume down
If you could, then it can boot into edl mode using tools provided from the internet, there are many of them
And flash fastboot firmware using MI flash or Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL)

Because I have another xiaomi device before, and it also get into penguin logo, and I can assure that my device has no installed os too
But because most of xiaomi phone chipset is Qualcomm, and Qualcomm device has edl mode, to flash image
And sure with my bricked device (stuck in penguin logo), I still able to access edl mode
But it was my old phone, not Redmi Note 5A, and I'm searching for how to enter edl mode on Note 5A, the process is you must use test point inside the device
Other than that, I don't know though
But if for my old phone (Redmi 2 Prime) the procedure is press volume down, then insert USB cable that connected to pc, then I can start to flash using QFIL

you can reflash ROM by using EDL method which you have to shortcircuit some pins to enter EDL, it is pretty easy if you have the tools. After reflashing it, reboot and it should be okay.

Did you try to use MiFlash tool? If you don´t want to use test point then probably you could enter to EDL using hardware buttons, in other Xiaomi devices that I owned the combination key was keeping pressed both volume buttons at same time (it´s an accuracy timing move) that you connect with PC, open device manager in windows and see if device is detected under Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008, install first the proper drivers https://www.themefoxx.com/2018/07/qualcomm-hs-usb-qdloader-9008-driver.html

Orange Fox - Wrong ROM - Bricked

I was trying to update to MIUI 12 on my Note 8.
I installed Orange Fox and did all the correct procedures.
I tried to install the ROM miui_GINKGOGlobal_V12.0.1.0.QCOMIXM_f5da3c2665_10. 0.zip but Orange Fox presented an error message saying that I was trying to install the wrong version and that my phone would need the Willow version.
I downloaded the version miui_WILLOWEEAGlobal_V12.0.1.0.QCXEUXM_87056480ce_ 10.0 and Orange Fox managed to complete the installation.
But that's when my problems started: my phone is no longer on. I turn on the power button and it flashes and turns off.
If I try the power button / volume combination - the Fastboot screen flashes for a second and goes out.
If I connect the USB cable it is flashing, turning on and off.
Is there anything I can do or is my phone a brick?

EDL locked? Why? I do not understand. It is a physical procedure
if you sure your phone is ginkgo then NEVER and EVER try to flash other device rom, you flash willow and because miui rom includes the firmwares as well then this behavior will be expected from flashing wrong driver
there's problem with your recovery, i use twrp and never encounter anything like that

Question Not able to turn on phone (Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE lisa)

Hey guys,
I wanted to try out a custom rom, so I unlocked the bootloader of my phone and installed orange fox recovery successfully. Since I somehow uninstalled MIUI in the process of installing orange fox, I downloaded a .zip file containing a custom rom for my device (its called Cherish OS, but that shouldn't be the problem here). Since I wiped the whole internal storage of my phone, I used the "adb push" command to get the according file onto my Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE. After installing the .zip file using orange fox, I pressed "reboot". However, my phone just shut down and did not reboot as it was supposed to do. I tried holding down the power button for at least 10 seconds to get it to boot, however the screen remained completely black. Even pressing volume down and power button did not help, the same with power up and power button. Whatever I tried, the screen remained black (no bootlogo etc).
I then charged up my phone, but that did not solve the issue either (before installation it had 47%, so I doubt that the battery died during installation as its a brand new phone).
One thing to notice is that my Windows PC makes a sound when I plug my phone into my Computer, as if I has plugged in a harddrive or something. But I can't get it to show up in the file explorer or with "fastboot devices". So clearly something happens when I turn on my phone, but the screen remains off.
I really hope you can help me to bring my (brandnew) phone back to life!
Thanks in advance.
P.S.: I used an ampmeter to check the charging current, its only around 60mA even though I used the official 33W charging brick.
