No negative effect that I have noticed in YouTube

Videos look good for me

MEMC doesn't work
As far as it goes, my mi 10T pro doesn't do frame interpolation. MEMC may be region restricted or smthn, but since xiaomi support is ignoring my mails, i'm left in the dark. If anyone finds any settings associated with motion enhancement, pls let it be known here. TY

I was watching a football stream the other evening using the Firefox browser and the ROM smoothed out the footage to add additional frames
It looked great.

Camera that can recorde in high frame rate without it being slowmo

Hello,
i was looking i there a way (app, rom, mod) for the Xiomi Redmi Note 5 to be able to recorde let say [email protected] without it coming out as a slow motion video. I want to be able to go to media properties and see [email protected]
Thanks in advance.
Interesting, I wonder as well.
But I doubt it will be 1080 xD maybe 720
Sent from my Redmi Note 5 using XDA Labs
Thank you for showing interest. I wouldn't mind it being 720

You can try FiLMiC Pro camera app, manually set resolutsion to 720p and framerate to 240fps in settings, also put playback fps to 240 as well. With Filmic it's also possible [email protected] fps. I'm on miui and I also have stereo recording with noise cancelling off.
Thank you so much. Really. I will give it a try.

[GCAM] My modded Gcam for Mi 9T

This is my modded Gcam for Mi 9T.
Basically it's @Urnyx05 mod but I was able to fix the excessive noise in photos with Zoom 2x sensor.

No, sadly... My advice is to use Gcam only for photos and MIUI camera for videos/slowmo/time lapse at least for now.
Great post! Would you say the Urnyx GCam (or this version of yours) is superior to the xtrme version? Have tried both but can't come to a definitive conclusion, really.

Would also like to know this as I'm using xtrem's version.
Just curious, how you guys mod these gcam apks. Is knowledge in coding necessary?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only 6.2 Gcam with all 4 cameras (3+1 front) working well with Mi 9T is the one in OP.

You're correct, this is the only 6.2 GCam working on the Mi 9T. But xtrme's version, although it's based on GCam 6.1, works great too with all 4 cameras. I don't know much about photography so I can't really tell which one is better overall.
Can you reduce NR for main camera as well? Night shots with HDR+ are good, but lack detail. A little grain won't hurt the image IMO.
Grainy noise is better than colour noise

Try changing library in advanced settings. Fit v2 seems to be optimized for Mi 9 that has a very similar main sensor.

It should crash only if wide or Tele camera are active.
Do you know if there is a version with working video/settings and auxiliary cameras support?
I suspect that video profiles for aux cameras are missing/hidden, at least in Global ROM.

Good evening everyone.
I have just joined the forum having just purchased a Xiaomi Mi 9T phone (That's still awaiting delivery)
Anyways, I am just wondering if this google camera mod can be loaded straight onto the phone or does the phone need 'jailbreaking' in some way?
Thanks in advance.

Just install the apk and enjoy.
The download links are dead? It just says that the file might no longer exist, in both links

Question MEMC in Custom Rom's

Was just wondering if this feature in the poco f3 would be implemented in future rom's. I was looking for rom's to flash but noticed that there was no rom's that has the MEMC feature...
Love this feature.
Agreed, I'm looking for a way to get the same feature on custom roms
For some reason it doesn't work well on my device
I have a Samsung tv with this feature on and it makes videos runs at 60 fps all the yime but on the poco it rarely do that

Same here, In my samsung qled it works always when enabled, but in my poco f3 memc works inconsistently. It seems to work only when the AI senses fast motion on the screen and it's always inaccurate resulting in varied frame rate.
If there is a way to disable AI and make MEMC run continuously then this might be fixed.

Me too have the same issue. Haven't find any solution yet
Can you share the link YouTube you have it? So I can compare with a different device.
Hello, I have a xiaomi poco f3 and experienced something similar but worse (youtube videos showing weird pixels and colors or noise like display at parts of the video, like a broken tv signal). I tried moving from miui 14 to a custom pixel OS but it did not solve the issue. Another thing I experienced is that 240p and below it was working flawlessly, anything above and I'd get the glitches. Likewise, other platforms like twitch.tv worked perfectly. Trying revanced youtube, root version or not, did not work for me. I pinpointed the problem to the vp9 codec, which is used by youtube videos when setting resolution above 240p. The following things worked for me:
a) Whats your refresh rate? Try setting it at 120hz at all times (other options like setting it automatically or per app won't do, for my pixelOS, it was "force peak refresh rate" in Display settings). This solution worked for me globally, including the youtube app, but increases battery consumption.
b) Browser only solution, that works without forcing max refresh rate at all times (and thus saving battery): use the enhanced-h264ify extension, available for android only for kiwi browser, afaik. There, in the addon options, block vp8, vp9 and av1 (iirc they all came pre checked)
