Totally down for this! I love sailfish OS, and thought I'd never see it for this device. I started work on this for the Nexus 6, but the phone croaked before I could finish. I will help to test, and even get source and help with compiling and stuff.....if you would like. I miss this OS!

Do you have the ROM for OP2? Super Excited!

Working on it, having some issues with the HDAK and push all the code on GIT I'm glad that I see people willing to join the project.

Never heard of Sailfish OS. So a quick Google search was needed on my part. Looks like an interesting OS. Good luck!

The zip file is not for flashing, it's just for other devs to check if everything is compiled correctly

Seems i'm not the only one working on the port, NeKit from #sailfishos-porters managed to boot in the UI, still has some issues with the back facing camera, he will publish the repo's on github soon. in order to get this right will work on his sources to have full build as soon as possible.

Firstly Thanks for this lovely rom and my question is i am on 3.5.8 firmware do i need to downgrade firmware and later flash CM13 & Sailfish OS or directly i can flash CM13 & Sailfish OS?

If CM 13.0 boots on it there is no problem, i'm still working on fixing dialer issues, browser(blame jolla on this one), text messages. Sailfish indeed feels great on this device, so snappy. I am a one man army but git sources are up and it makes life easier for more devs to work on it as we have full boot into UI. I'm new to this OS so I work and learn as much as I can possibly can no eta for beta or stable release but i do ask if there any devs out here that want to join in the development would help a lot

Unfortunately (but not surprisingly), it does not boot on encrypted device.

Didn't test on encrypted device, and i don't think it will soon work, i'm curently trying to get phone, text and data working to use it as daily driver

I remember my old days whn i ported some roms and same problem occured ... Solved that time by decompiling base and port rom telephony .jar n replacing ril.smallies nd somelines in build prop to hack phn massages data!?

Good idea to read this F.A.Q While the rom is installing​
NOTES :
For Facebook/whatsapp calling, if the audio is quite you should set the call volume to 1 step below max
Q : I dont have root help plez
A : Flash the latest magisk zip
Q : Phone took alot of time to boot, and is very laggy
A : pay attention to install steps and reboot
Q : There is SIM popup that keeps coming to ask me for restart
A : you DID NOT follow the instructions, Reinstall the rom and pay attention
Q : in the first SIM question in setup wizard, language is not english, what does it say
A : The RIGHT button is what you need to press, it will factory reset the phone (not touching your internal) and setup your /EFS with an OMC file that is linked to your simcard, so the rom will auto detect your CSC just like official samsung phones
Q : Where is edge panel/ edge lighting ?
A : This is NOT a flagship port, so the edge panel/lighting support cant be added
Q : How is battery Life ?
A : With some tests and some cycles, it will be better than stock due to optimzations
Q : What to do after the rom is setup ?
A : Go to samsung apps, let the phone update everthing
Q : My phone does NOT boot help pls
A : Ensure you have LATEST bootloader and modem installed, did all the wipes, and did your house chores

The rom uses ODM, so it selects INS csc on its own. And ofcourse volte is functioning

I was on ASII with Geti's TWRP. Wiped everything and flashed ROM. Nothing special.

I try to instal but not boot , miss something or?

Recents app ist not working with gesture Mode activate

reuploaded the rom as 4.1.1. nas will upload the rom byself on gdrive so it will be soon uploaded on gdrive too

I flashed the rom on j7 2016 j710f
The rom is good but
I'm not able to find the option for screen mode in settings
And I'm not able to use folders in app drawer and the ui force close every time I try
Still testing

This happened twice
The phone freese when the screen is turned off

there is no file on megadrive

small lags during playing music via BT speakers

Instructions -​*Flash Create vendor 2.0 from @ananjaser1211 Project Spaget
*Reboot RECOVERY
*Flash SpagetX or Treblue [NOTE: if using SpagetX flash AresKernel RC-2]
*Wipe /DATA /CACHE /SYSTEM.....
*Install GSI & Reboot RECOVERY.....
*Flash BitGAPPS or OpenGapps...[Check F.A.Q]
*Reboot to System
*When the boot animation is on for about 30 sec...Do a force reboot [i.e hold volume down & power button]

BUGS-​Animations are a bit choppy.....[FIXED]
Action center is a bit oversize[FIXED]
Call Audio is broken on some variants......
Do not put any kind of security in lockscreen.....the system will crash...
com.android.phone keeps stopping in some rare cases [fix- go to TWRP mount /system then file manager system product and delete the folder phonesky......]
AresKernel might cause the phone to switch off while in sleep...in that case use Kraken RC-14

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE INSTALLING TO GET A BETTER IDEA OF THIS PROJECT​
Q: Random reboots occuring on my device
A: Use kraken RC-14 OR AresKernel
Q: Device requirements?
A: Your device must be on Latest bootloader & modem...
Q: Sim card not working!
A: Temporary Mobile Data Fix: by @@strix
Enable developer options and activate Mobile Data always active from developer options
Dial *#*#4636#*#* and then choose Phone Information then change WCDMA Only to LTE only.
Q: Cannot flash Gapps or Magisk/system partition size showing less than 60MB
A: Download Gapps pacakge (ARM64 > Q)
- Go to TWRP > Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Tick System > Repair > Resize(first time may fail if so then try again..) > Reboot > Recovery
- Flash opengapps_xxxx
Q: Chrome is unstable or Crashes frequently
A: Use firefox or microsoft edge or Bromite browser...
Q: Which vendor should i use??
A: It's really ur choice but i recommend using Project TreBlue by @@strix which is a more refined and bug fixed version of SpagetX

Screenshots will upload ASAP...Sim card fix is a temporary fix which i will update in FAQ section...and no VoLTE....

good job bro and awsome rom very fast in every thing but sim card problem appear and disappear so fast I try many kernal but not work can u help me j 730f
