Forget my comment above.
I had ver 6.11 & updated yesterday via OTA. I noticed when phone sleeps, update installing pauses. So, I had to keep screen awake until the process was completed.
Great work, thank you.

Hello @00p513
The 6.13 version is working well, installed 2 days before.
Bugs
1. The much needed MOTO EXTRAS not wrorking, giving force close error.
2. Ambient Dispplay not working, giving fore close error.
And also the rom is without ROOT access.

Is this 64bit rom? no special caution needed when using twrp adb sideload?

Unfortunately I cannot include root. Moto extras and ambient display works fine for me too. Can you back up your data and try a factory reset?

I flashed "modded phh superuser" and installed "phh-su" and reboot as normal. but when ES file explorer asks root permission it displays "root access not installed".

I already joined Crdroid community on telegram. thnx
OP, thank you for all your dedication, work and contributions on the Moti G7 Play CHANNEL. It's great to see all these new (non-GSI) custom ROMs rolling out. It's splendid. And to any device owners enjoying the OP's hard work on these great custom ROMs, hit that THANKS button and, if possible, give a donation to help support the dev, even if it's small. I'm no dev myself, but I do know that devs work hard on these ROMs and every little bit helps out.
Thank you so much @00p513 for you dedication and hard work. I installed this in my XT1952-2 yesterday and its working superb.

I installed CrDroid 3 days ago and I experienced loss of color after 1 day of operation. I tried restarting but the problem persisted. I reinstalled it again via ADB yesterday, and today i lost colors once, but it went away after restart. After my second installation i didn't turn dark mode on.
any body experiencing this problem?

Pls be sure you've done steps 9-12 as in the original post (patching vendor?), without doing them I had the same.
Where can I get stock android Pei? thank you.
I can confirm that the installation steps are correct, except maybe one more step between 4 and 5, press 'format data'.
Problems ROM:
Wi-fi not work and Fingerprint sensor not working.
I installed it and almost everything works fine, but Google sync doesn't work at all, I still can't identify the failure, I used different recovery, other than that everything works fine.

remember after installing reinstall custom recovery, otherwise it will return to stock recovery:
1- move the stock to ExtSdcard
2- enter on your custom recovery
3- install the zip
4- install Twrp or OrangeFox again
5- reboot to the recovery (if you press reboot system you have a high chance of losing recovery)

Make sure the zip file is not corrupted. You might need to redownload it.
You can uninstall audiofx either by using a system app remover from play store (root required), or you can use adb with the following commande:
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 org.lineageos.audiofx

Mr @MLZ94 i have a problem, i always set wifi and mobile data on (as i always do in A9 stock), theres no problem if wifi is available, but if theres no wifi then the mobile data wont connect, in order to make mobile data works i have to on-off airplane mode first.
Is there any solution, or i have to activate only one connection?
And another problem, recently nothing happened no error message but the phone turned off by itself

Well, this shouldn't happen, as it works fine for other users. I don't know what is your issue due to. I guess you already tried to reboot, but if you didn't, then try it. You can try to enable the option to keep mobile data on over wifi from developper settings.
Btw, has this issue just come or it was there since the first flash ?
I just checked, the mobile data over wifi setting is already active

No, formatting data and factory reset are required due to file based encryption being introduced by default.
Using this rom since came out and its working fine. Tks dev great work
Hello there!
The rom has been working wonderful so far.
The only issue I'm experiencing is that every time I get an app that requires my google account, it won't ask me or let me chose the one I've already set up on the device, it will only let me sync a new one, and if I try to login to the one I already have it will prompt a the message "the account is already in the device".
Any suggestions are more than welcome!
edit, Adding to this, I can't get it to display any of my google account contacts

What Gapps package did you install? Sounds more like a Gapps issue then a ROM issue...
Working OTA Updates?

OTA support is there, next (and first) OTA update will show if everything works as expected, but I have no reason to believe it won't.

I first tried with the one with Magisk in brackets, but those didn't work so I went for WeebGApps-arm-arm64-11.0-4.1.0.zip
Which one should I pick?

Why would you do that? As far as I know odexing is required for art runtime, which is the default runtime since a few versions now.

Could not reproduce the brightness thing, but there is something sketchy goingbon with some codecs (seems like av2). I' m on it and will include a fix asap. For now, using VLC wherever possible can be a workaround, as it seems to provide its own codecs.

I have both of the screenshots you shared also. But the option to choose fingerprint as an unlock method has just disappeared. Not sure why. I upgraded from the updater app cr droid provides. How did you update?

Right. There shouldn't be a print. First you need to select the unlock/encryption method. This is the method if the fingerprint doesn't work.

Great, thank you for your clarification. I still face an issue after adding my fingerprint. That the fingerprint doesnt show on lockscreen. It shows only the pin unlock. So probably there something wrong in my update. I will try clean install and let you know.

Choose install and let it finish
If you have Magisk installed, don't click reboot when prompted and go to Magisk and choose install to inactive slot

Note: In some cases where incompatible gapps used, may result in boot issues that should get fixed by flashing gapps again in recovery.

Is this crdroid A13 ufs or erofs file system?
there a way to turn off the camera in status bar notifications? the option is grayed out compared to crdroid8. just dont like seeing the persistant cam icon in stats bar. other than that the ROM is solid! long awaited!
Any potential issues with using Omni, Stock, or one of the other Nikgapps releases instead of core?
Ldac stuttering anyone?
Any issues with live display color saturation resetting?
Then again, this whole thread is people asking questions and not getting answers. Everyone has left XDA for telegram

Well fact is that I know have my own custom Nikgapps installment, but all should work as long as gapps package doesn't replace core system apps (Launcher is one good example)

what carrier?
maybe update modem?
Currently found issues:
- Video playback in some apps (youtube, google photo's, instagram) require you to clear the apps from recents before video works.
- Phone crashes for some reason when locked, requires to force restart it (happens once every other day).
If there's a hotfix available, let me know.

Hi! Airtel is the Cellphone Carrier. It got connected after 15 mins after resetting the accesspoint settings multiple times and after restarting twice. Mobile Data would Switch on; but, once you exit that section and re-enter the mobile data settings area, the 'Mobile Data' switch seems to be reset to off mode.

compatble with T-Mobile variant and T-Mobile carrier? LE2127...
Updated from 8.10. Everything works except for Gboad, It will simply not load at all on any app. Got a third party keyboard from the play store using voice command. Other than that, 5g was a little slow today, but that may be Tmobile.
Thanks for the Rom.

Yes, it is. I have same phone unlocked to Verizon. The only bug I noticed is, I have to set notification tone to mute otherwise when I receive a text the tone goes off constantly. The fix is to just change the messages app tone from default to whatever tone you want to use.
