64 BIT ROM? - Moto G8 Play Questions & Answers

I have seen that in the moto g7 play the community has developed 64-bit roms, and I would like to know if there is someone who is working on it for the g8 play. (Sorry for my english, it's from the translator)

LG G4 H818p Android M One Click Root. Is it real?

Found this video. Can it really root our LG G4 dual running android M?
Thanks guys!
I'm interested in hearing some real experience as well
I haven't tested but have visited oneclicktool website, there is a section supported devices.
www oneclickroot.com/rootable/
I've tried to look for H818 device running 6.0.1 but nothing was found. That makes me think that video is not real

Moto Z2 Play model distribution poll.

I just want to get an idea of the variations of Moto Z2 Play models used by members of this forums. Could help mitigate confusion between models.
I have the XT1710-01 and sometimes it feel like I'm the only -01 model here.
My Model is Moto Z2 Play XT1710-10 Dual Sim Indian Variant.
Mine is not on the list:
Moto Z2 Play XT1710-06
Odd, This was my source for the list, http://www.phonemore.com/motorola-moto-z2-play/models/900
It doesn't seem I can edit the poll options. I knew I should have added an "other" or something. Would it be possible for a mod on here to tweak the poll options or point me in the right direction?

kernel 64bits (arm64)

Hello, I was researching a little bit about this and I saw that it is possible our bike g6 play one day still have compatibility with arm64
In this link has the post of the developer of arm64 for the Moto G 5 plus
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/development/dev-64bits-t3708091
The best GSI Roms and apply today are arm64, I hope our Moto G6 will have this support soon!

It's actually a lot of work. Need all new arm 64 device trees, probably work to be done on vendor as well kernel. That's why it hasn't been done. We had hope from squid2 for a bit. But he's got too much on his plate right now. Bringing up a few devices to Oreo and pie on lineage. Devices like the e4 that officially stopped at nougat. He's working on all that. Probably the e5 play too. Plus adding 64 bit support for those.
There aren't really any advanced developers with that kind of skill working on the g6 or g6 play right now. None that I know of anyways.
It's quite a task to bring a device from arm to arm 64. You pretty much have to start from scratch

GCam on G7 Fit?

I know this section is kinda dead, but just by a chance - does GCam work on G7 Fit? Does anyone happen to use it and wouldn't mind sharing experience or even samples?
Hi I used a version for G6 from the hub and honestly I stopped bothering after a week or so cos the quality wasn't worth it. The stock cam app on LG G7 fit produces better images in my opinion. I am in Europe btw. Ondrew

When the development of custom roms will begin on the moto g8 play

When will the development of custom roms for the moto g8 play begin?
I know that it depends on the developers but does not have a forecast? the "original" ROMs are not as good as the custom ones, I'm looking forward to seeing one running on my moto g8 play
